Great place to walk laps indoors during the winter. Days due vary depending on events but for only $10 a year it's well worth it.
Sometimes you can catch the Thunder practices.

The Thunder franchise is a lot more successful than Phantoms ever were. We were back in town and went to a game. Way more fun. The team was great. The announcer and field host were very entertaining. Everyone was into the game and cheering loudly. This thunder team has got their stuff together, very impressed. So happy we came. This area is lucky to have such a great franchise invest

Adirondack Thunder is a great echl hockey team. The locals love hockey and it is obvious at these echl division hockey games.

Watched Albany play Army in a tremendous NCAA Men's basketball game. Great family place and arena. The hotdogs were amazing the hot pretzels are magnificent. Very clean and sanitary. The video board is very clear and loud. Attend!!!

The Glens Falls Civic Center (Cool Insuring Arena) is a historic arena. The old barn provides a hockey experience like no other. Seating around 4800 this building absolutely rocks when almost full or at a capacity crowd.

Great building for other events like circuses, concerts, the Adirondack Stampede Rodeo, but this house was built for hockey. With seating on top of the action the home team loves it, the visiting teams hate it. The only negative is that due to the building's age and footprint there are not alot of bathroom space and does get crowded at the concession stands but the overall experience of professional minor league hockey is worth the trip for any hockey fan or attending a concert.
For ECHL it's a fantastic place to go for a game. Energy was electric.
I had one of the worst experiences of my life here. I was at a dance competition from 6/26-6/30/23 here and my purse got stolen! Apparently there were multiple thefts all week! If an organization is paying to rent your venue you should be providing security! There was some vagrant that wasn't all there on a bike rifling through the garbage, roaming the hallways, saying off the wall things to people that had to be told by people attending the event to leave multiple times on multiple days. Pretty sure that's who was stealing everything! Disgraceful! You should be sued for everything people lost this week.
I have only been to one show at Cool Insuring Arena, and that was Ghost and Nothing More back in 2019.

I actually think this venue is very underrated. It’s such a small arena, but allows for somewhat big bands to play. Seeing ghost play their was amazing! I know Breaking Benjamin and Godsmack have also played their in the past aswell. I just wish they would host more concerts! I haven’t seen any concert announcements from them this year and I really hope they come out with some banger announcements for bands. The event staff was super helpful and the merch stations moved efficiently. The arena was really nice, we had seats and I truly don’t think there’s a bad seat in the whole arena. I highly recommend the venue, but I just hope they have more concerts here in the future.
This will always be the Glens Falls Civic Center to me. A classic style arena that’s just the right size. An ideal spot to watch some hockey or go to a gig. I’m not saying I have a favourite memory here, but it’s 100% Phish.

Great local venue! Food/beer prices are really reasonable- all seats are excellent! Awesome night for the family! Hockey, rodeo, concerts- we’ve been here for all types of events- great arena!
Very nice small city arena! Sight lines for hockey games are great from all points in the arena. Not a bad seat in the house! Concessions offer many different food choices for a reasonable price. Local craft beers are offered. Easy to walk around.
Easy to get tickets through Seat Geek website and app. Tickets are usually available at the box office for hockey games.
Check parking map on website before going. Many lots available around the city.
Great history to this arena as it was home to the Adirondack Red Wings for several years in the 80's and 90's. Also, a hosted a memorable Siena Saints NIT basketball game, and a BYU basketball game. Descent concert venue as well.

Decent concert venue. The sound was pretty decent for an ice arena. Super convenient location downtown, close to lots of restaurants. Easy in and out. Overall a positive experience.

Complete debacle trying get into the show on 11-13-22. The line wrapped around the building, zero signage so no one knew we were in the wrong line. Once we made it to correct line it didn't move for 35 minutes and half the ticket holders missed the first few songs. It was amateur hour, like they had never held a concert before. Unacceptable!!

Decided to get a flex plan for the Adirondack Thunder hockey team that plays here - it was a good choice. Great sightlines from any seat in the arena. A little tight to walk the concourse between periods but while the game is occurring its a fine arena.
