Top Observation decks in Shibuya City, Japan

Great tower viewpoint of the city. Outside at the top you get to experience a 360 view and can take lots of pictures from all around the open air rooftop. Lockers are provided for free to leave all personal belongings when you enter ge top of the tower.

We came at sunset to enjoy Tokyo by day and night. It was a great experience. It was cloudy when we went but if the sky is clear you can see into the distance.

When booking tickets you need to be quick, book them 30 days in advance. All the tickets after 3.30pm will be sold out within 3/4 minutes.

Booked online and brought family up around noon time. Awesome reception going up. Sky view was even better. Was a clear and sunny day. Toilets & refreshments are available at the souvenir store level, just before the roof top. Scenic photos can be taken on the rooftop (there are 2 corners where they are good spots to take photo but has queue line if crowded) & the level below it (AC).

Such an amazing and breathtaking experience. Make sure to get your tickets exactly 1 month in advance if you want sunset, as the tickets sell out in minutes! You can stay at the top for as long as you want, so if you really want a sunset view, just grab an earlier time if the other tickets are sold out. Keep in mind it takes around 10 minutes or more to get to the top so plan accordingly!

Good view for the city overall but the dirty glass can make taking good photos difficult. The light beams towards the sky are very cool but it doesn’t light up all the time. Make sure you book the ticket in advance as it’s not always available at the door. There is a lounge at the roof top for drinks and also a big helicopter pad for kids to run around.

Very cool observation deck. The top was pretty crowded, even at 11am. People lined up to take photos in the corners of the deck. It seems like if you get there right when it opens, you can grab some of the couches available.
On our way out, we noticed another floor with awesome views, a lounge, and air conditioning. That part of the experience is being slept on! Everyone was spending their time on top but the views from the lower floor were just as cool, and it was very comfortable there. It also made for some very cool Succession-esque photos.

This tower has a magnificent view on the rooftop. You can take very nice photo with 360 degree view. Before going outside to the open air rooftop, you will be asked to put your bags inside the locker, it’s free so no need to worry about it. There is also a lot of staff that will guide you and even maintain the safety of everyone there. The sunset view there is incredible. If the weather is good, you can even see Mount Fuji from far away. Buying tickets 30 days before the day you go is recommended. All the good tickets(3.30pm-5.30pm) will be sold out in a flash, so be sure to grab them on time.

What an incredible view. We just missed sunset but it did not disappoint at night time. Reserve your ticket early!!! When we arrived it was sold out to passers by, and there was a huge queue, but it went really fast and was well organised. Once you are at the top there are plenty of opportunities for great photos. We went on a Friday night and still got good photos. You will need 100¥ for a locker for your bag so make sure to bring that. Literally all you could see was city in every direction as far as the eye could see.

We’ve been there around 3:30pm till 7:00pm, seen the views during daytime till dark after sunset. Cannot really recommend specific time as better, it was all great and different.
There is a very nice cafeteria and bar with some snacks so very convenient if you have kids.
The souvenir shop is very nice as well.
Staff are very friendly and helpful, it gets very busy during exit especially at high season like April.
Make sure to get few coins for the lockers.
