The food is OK, prices are acceptable but the staff is absolutely unfriendly, especially the chef behind the bar. We had to wait long before our order was served and it was not what we ordered. The presentation was primitive. As the bill came, there was an error in the price of one item.

Omg this food so big plate. We ordered 2 dishes (see photo) but we had to ask to pack 1 plate because it was too much.

Took about 40 mins for our food to be served, my ramen was kinda salty, portion is big tho.
Essen war hervorragend, sowohl die Vorspeise für zwei Personen (Nr. 18), als auch das Sushi und die Nudeln. Preis-Leistung super. Die Jakobsmuscheln waren sehr gut, sehr leckere Soßen. Wir hatten einen Weißwein dazu, auch sehr gut.

Average sushi, acceptable prices a quantity. I enjoyed the neon atmosphere, the service wasn’t really nice, a bit in a rush to close the kitchen when they where still taking delivery orders. Cash only, no English menu.
I recommend the gyozas and the tuna sushi rolls. It’s a good option for not an expensive dinner in Aachen.

there was barely any sushi on the conveyor belt for the past hour and it was very neglected. there were no covers on the plates so i found a fly and hair on the food. very gross. i just wish more attention was paid to the conveyor belt since it’s its main attraction. also, way too overpriced for the quality of the fish itself. you can tell it’s been out for a bit. extremely disappointing since i went here for my anniversary. DO NOT COME HERE!!!
The food was a bit tasteless except the ramen duck soup.the cocktail (mojito)drink didn't taste like mojito and the other cocktail was more like sirup.the staff is verry friendly so this is 1 extra star in my review!

When visiting Aachen, we always visit Best Friends for their sushi 🍱 or other delicious dishes (like curries). My advise is to make a reservation as this is a very popular restaurant.
The food is very delicious, the fish is so fresh, the service was nice and the overall atmosphere was very chill and comfortable. The menu also offers a wide range of options. Would definetly revisit soon :)

I reserved a table at the restaurant after looking around Aachen for places for a Birthday meal. We arrived a little before the time reserved for but this was no issue. The restaurant has a nice lay out of tables with some outside seating as well.
We ordered a soup, some tempura sushi rolls, a tuna steak main course and some wan tan. The wan tan were not my favourite, slightly too oily and a little undercooked inside. The rest of the food was absolutely delicious. The tuna main course was incredibly and the sushi some of the best I've ever had.
The service was a little standoffish to begin with but very friendly come the middle of the meal.
I'd definitely eat here again, and the large menu and quality of the food certainly makes you want to return!

We had very nice starters! They were big and not expensive. Sushi is also rather big per roll but also pricy! Udon noodle soup was very nice and reasonably priced! Drinks tasted nice but as usual these days are way overpriced! 7,40€ for 0,75 l bottle of water which they buy for under 1€ in store.

Wirklich sehr lecker dort. Die Suppe hat mit super gefallen und auch meine Freunde schwärmen noch bis heute von den Sommerrollen die sie dort gegessen haben. (Wir waren hier vor ca 1/2 bis 1 Jahr) Auch der Service war ziemlich gut, man hat uns freundlich empfangen und auch freundlich wieder verabschiedet. Alles in allem also wirklich ein empfehlenswertes Restaurant. 👍
Loved their ambiance. They have a very pretty open place in their back. Their smoking zone is a bit on the corner, so the smoke does not bother. Moreover their stuffs were very nice and friendly.

Best friend curry: This one was a wholesome dish. 3/4 types of fish, cooked in coconut milk. Swet and sloght tangy taste. Also, I recommend this one.
Except for the pad thai, i loved all other items, and i will, of course, visit again ❤️

Sehr freundlicher Manager! Es ist sehr praktisch, eine Reservierung per Telefon vorzunehmen. Sie antworteten auch rechtzeitig auf Nachrichten auf Google. Mein Freund und ich essen hier zu Abend. Als Manager und Kellner unseren Kuchen sahen, fragten sie, ob jemand Geburtstag habe und wünschten alles Gute zum Geburtstag. Sie haben uns auch freundlicherweise neue Teller, Messer und Gabeln mitgebracht, damit wir nach dem Abendessen Kuchen essen können. Die Gerichte selbst sind köstlicher und dekorativer. Wir hatten ein sehr gutes Esserlebnis.

For ten years, whenever we wanted to go for sushi our first choice was to have diner with Oshii Aachen because of the excellent food, good service and friendly staff.
Yesterday however turned out to be a big, fat disappointment!
The service was poor, unfriendly staff and the food quality was not A1. We wondered about the decline of quality and could not help but to conclude the ownership changed.
Anyway, this was our last visit to Oshii Aachen and because there are plenty of alternatives in Aachen, we can't recommend Oshii Aachen as the place to be ....

The food is fresh and well prepared, but the service is far from good. At the time, the food took 1h to arrive, and there were still some items missing. Not my best experience at a restaurant.
Excellent sushi, generous portions and friendly staff make this a great spot to enjoy some modern Japanese cuisine.
The lunch menus are a great deal, and are well accompanied by the fresh drinks such as the delicious mango-mint-juice. Service is pretty quick too

Great food but serving can take very long time on a busy day. Menu is also phrased a bit misleading… see first picture. Staff is very friendly
The place is amazing and it offers wide variety of japanese cuisines. Food was fresh and delicious!! The yakitori skewers and the vegetarian buddha plate is highly recommended. I am so happy to visit it and though I came to Aachen for a short period, I am definitely gonna visit best friends again before I leave the city;)

My menu was old and had stains on it, but it was the only one (the other three menus were fine).

Atmosphere is super nice. Love the LED everywhere and the big glass windows. Men's room was clean, but also a bit narrow.

Recently visited after a 2 year absence, still the same nice vibes as back then. The food is good, a bit pricy but acceptable. Waiters were kind and fast. Went on a Friday, waiting times were very short. Take the special rolls over the normal go-to sushi ;-)
This is one of the best sushi places you will ever find. And I mean like worldwide, including Japan. This is place offers special dishes like Best Friend's rolls and Fried Inside outs, which you will miss everywhere else you go. Price/value wise, you will not find anything comparable, unless you are looking for a cheap-quality rolling sushi buffet, which this place is definitely not. For those who don't like sushi or raw stuff, there is also a pletora of awesome cooked dishes like curries, the classical Lost Monk, or Sara Sake salmon with teriyaki sauce. Enjoy your meal!
I've been here a bunch of times and the sushi dishes have always been very tasty. My favourites would be the Mango Maki and Spicy Salmon Inside Out Roll. The ambience and the service is great as well. I would definitely recommend!

we’ve been there twice and have been waiting for over 30 minutes to get a waitress coming to the table, there’s little option for vegetarians and it’s quite crowded and noisy in there. Location in the city is good though.

Used to be not bad. A couple of months ago ordered a donbury with salmon and it was extremely good, with salmon just slightly grilled on top and a good Japanese rice. Today I ordered the same dish to go and it was such a disappointment! The salmon was cooked through and literally burned, was very bitter and dry. Impossible to eat. Never again!
A nice, small and cozy place. It is somewhat expensive, but worth it. They feature more that just the usual maki and nigiri; but also fancy inside-out and other very interesting versions. If something is missing on the running sushi, it can be ordered directly from the chef (see the lonely inari sushi on the picture).
It can eat eaten from the running sushi or a la carte. Take away and ordering is possible.

Super friendly Sushi chef! In the past 2 weeks I went there 4 times, 'cause it was that good. Very delicious and not expensive. Try the Crazy Sushi Jubiläumsmenü.
Super!! I have a favorite sushi place in the States that's hard to beat. Your food and very very kind waitress rivaled it!! :) Nice place to go when I need a "fix!" :) :)
Small sushi place in the center of Aachen. Tasteful clean and fresh sushi. Waiter was helpful and so was the sushi chef with some special diet request from us (sugar free ingredients). Sushi was served quick. Don't expect 5 star Japanese cuisine, but a very descent meal for a very reasonable price! Small remark, I requested cold or chilled sake, but the liquor was room temperature, which would have made my review 5 stars ;-)
One of the rare restaurants in Aachen in which people know what exactly gluten is, have special ingredients for gluten-intolerant people (including special GF surimi, GF say-sauce etc) and are really willing to help! It is clean, tasty, could be a bit more cosy, but nevertheless- I sincerely recommend it!
