Decent for West-End sushi

Food 3.5/5: your typical Ipad AYCE Sushi. The usual sashimi, basic rolls, limited dimsum. The menu lacks choices for the price compared go other AYCE sushi places. Some food needs more flavour. But will recommend torch sushi and beef tataki. Sashimi was thick and ok, definitely could be better. Dessert was very limited not much to choose from. The beef tataki was seasoned well and sliced perfectly, but too much onions (see photos).

Service 3.5/5: Definitely some language barrier with certain servers. Was given different drinks from what was ordered twice. Could be more friendly.

Atmosphere 3.7/5: Clean and comfortable. Tables were sticky though. Restroom was tidy but we did come right before the dinner rush.

Overall 3.5/5: Would recommend but definitely not the top choice for your sushi fix.
I was very impressed with the quality of food (especially the sushi/torched sushi/sashimi). Usually when dining, I find decent fish with one or two very good tasting quality fish. Every bite was delicious. I LOVED the ginger ice cream (and ordered a second one as it was that amazing). Go for the fish, stay and enjoy everything else, including the cute robot servers. Added bonus if u have 10% off coupon and pay in cash (coupon on takeout menu).
Makimono Sushi Bar is a hidden gem! The sashimi, sushi, and rolls are incredibly delicious. And what's better than great food? A friendly manager! They make you feel right at home, adding to the already inviting atmosphere. Whether you're a sushi connoisseur or a newbie, Makimono Sushi Bar is the place to be. 🍣🥢😊
Food was great. Been here twice so far for lunch outs with office mates. Haven't tried their buffet yet and am planning to do so sometime with my friends perhaps for dinner.

Ordered the Bento box with the beef teriyaki option sans the sushi rolls as I have an allergy for those. Tempura was great and the Bento boxes were such huge servings. I can't wait to try their buffet for next time and get to try some of their other dishes. There are still a lot of delicious looking dishes in their menu left to try.

The Pork Katsu lunch was okay, not really into fried food as they always were too dry for me but I just wanted to try something else for my 2nd visit. So I ordered the wanton soup which I didn't expect to be spicy. It was great though, but I just couldn't take the spice so I had to request to take it home instead and they gave me a nice plastic container. The meat inside the wantons were too scarce though compared to what I have gotten used to.

They have the robot waiters here which brings your orders to your table. I thought that was kinda cool and cute. Will definitely be back here again with friends.

Ordered take out here and was impressed with the size of the rolls and the freshness of everything. Overall very good for the price.
The food here was remarkable. I really enjoyed the food and the service. I had the all you can eat dinner and really enjoyed my time here.
I ordered all you can eat at dinner time. They use a tablet for placing your order, which was very convenient. The pictures and descriptions on the tablet made it easy if your unfamiliar with the Japanese words. The food came fast and was pretty tasty.

Don’t waste your time, don’t eat here! I went in to order a fresh maki roll. The cashier refused to let me order a fresh one and insisted I get the pre-made roll in the fridge area. I did. The roll was falling apart and not fresh at all! I went back to try ordering a fresh maki roll again. The cashier grabbed the container threw it in the trash, and proceeded to throw money at me (a refund that I did not ask for) Then yelled ‘Don’t come back here!’ Firstly, I was respectful, so for a place of business to disrespect their customers like this is CRAZYY! Secondly, if you don’t want customers, just say that. I would not waste my money on these subpar sushi rolls anyway, but it’s the only sushi place at Woodbine mall. You’re better off ordering from ANYWHERE else. I hope they go out of business soon, we will all be much better off.

It's ok for mall sushi. $30 fed 2 adults and a toddler. There is a tad bit too much rice for the rolls. Tempura batter was not light enough so we did have to peel off some batter. Service was great though and flavour of the complimentary salad and spicy salmon roll were nice.
The food is better than I expected. Their avocado salad, Chicken Karage, shrimp with broccoli and ginger ice cream are tasty.

The table is a little bit sticky like other review mentioned. It looks like it could be cause by the coating of the table. We visited on Saturday noon and it’s not too busy. The service is also good.
First time here with a large group of 12. The waiter was super patient with us and accommodated our every need. The food came out relatively quick & the robot going around was helpful too. It was one of our member’s birthday and the robot played a happy bday song which was so sweet. The food was very fresh and well made and we are very happy with our experience. Would definitely recommend and come back!

affordable and convenient to buy sushi from! Don't know what takeout places or other places some people on here are spouting about but if you all want perfection, go to a luxurious one. You get what you pay for *shrug* I like it here. Clean and decent prices.

The sushi here is pretty good, the pieces are very big. The prices are a bit expensive compared to other places for takeout but as I said the portions are very good. Both the spicy crispy tuna and spicy crispy salmon sushi were very good! It was actually my first time trying spicy crispy tuna ever and thanks to them I will be ordering it again in the future wherever I may try next, it was quite delicious! The miso soup was also delicious and it was a large portion as well. The shrimp tempura however was very lacklustre, it was sort of chewy and the pieces were small so I wouldn’t recommend that. I was also hoping they would add and order of extra rice per my notes but that’s alright it wasn’t on their menu separately plus the portions were big enough for me without it! They did add lots of soy sauce for me though per my instructions and extra chopsticks, napkins etc! Haha, all in all it’s definitely worth a try but I do have other favourite sushi places I prefer!
This place is wonderful!!! The food is super fresh, well cooked, has great portions, and gives you way more than you expect! I ordered a salmon teriyaki and it came with soup and salad, all for $12!! It’s also a family owned business where everyone is super friendly!! Thanks for a delicious and healthy meal!!
Love this place. Consistently good food, wide variety, great value, sweet and friendly staff. Highly recommended

I have been going here since they opened and Sushi House has never disappointed. Every time I go to a different sushi place I regret it. Out of every take out sushi place I have been to in the GTA and Mississauga area, Sushi House has the best quality for the best price. Our favourites are the spicey salmon and the phili roll, but the house roll and classic sushi are great too! Great service and definitely worth checking out.
