First time here. WOW AMAZING GR8 PLACE. So much to see lots of Different animals to hand feed. Fantastic morning with the grandchildren. 11 out of 10.
Seen some complaints about the animal feces which is probably something to consider prior to making the decision to visit a park with free roaming animals. The staff were friendly and it wasn't too busy on a weekday being able to get in some of the enclosures close to the animals was good and they have some improvement ideas in the works. Would go here again.

First time experience of holding Koala. Great park and facilities. There are many animals and birds to see. There is a small train ride too. We really enjoyed.

Positives
Can see animals really close up
Animals appear to be looked after

Constructive feedback
It would be nice to have a larger fenced off area to eat lunch or have a break. We attended the park on a Saturday and the small area with tables and chairs was full
More shade would be good
Food pellets for the animals would be beneficial rather than popcorn
Much much larger areas for the birds - it was sad to see them unable to fly at all

Negatives
There was unfortunately a dead animal in one of the rear fenced off shelters, some type of large bird
As the animals roam free there is a lot of poop around - recommend wearing appropriate foot wear!

Please don’t support business that think is acceptable to keep birds forever in cages like this. The material that this cages are made are poor and old, this gets extremely hot!! Like very hot! And the birds can’t go anywhere else. Also, the birds don’t have any room to a little bit of fly. It is heartbreaking.
They have been living in this conditions for over 3 years. Just seating in the hot all day.
Surely a “Wild Park” would have a little bit of money to buy decent cages made by appropriate metal and with physical enrichment? Looks like they just don’t care.
A place where animals roam freely. I love this ambience, birds are moving freely instead of being in cage, that gives me the feel of being in nature. Love to visit here again and again. Animals are happy here, which give me peace.

Had a day out at Cohuna Wildlife Park with my 2 year old grandson. We went on a week day before the school holidays started, so it was fairly quiet, which I was happy for. My grandson loves all animals but finds dinosaurs interesting at the moment.
The dinosaur statues they have in the park are great displays for some of the younger children.
The Wallaby and Kangaroo enclosure is nice to walk through. The park has two crocodiles, which like to laze by the pool in their enclosure. The park also has roaming Emus, which are friendly enough. If you plan on staying for most of the day, make sure you bring your own food.
