Top Animal parks in Melbourne, United States

Had my dog's birthday party here, and it was great! The fenced-in area is huge and my boys had such a good time!

My kids love the park. However, there is an open space on the gate that goes between the small park and the big dog side that a small dog can go through. I know this because my small dog went through it. For safety, it should be fixed.

Monty thoroughly enjoyed Wickham Dog Park! The area for big dogs is huge (there is a small dog side too), with dog drinking foundations, a wash tub with a hose, and different terrain like grass, sand, and wood chips. Monty loved diving into the huge, bushy palms (which are gorgeous, but they do obstruct your view of some of the dog park, if that bothers you). There’s a large tree for shade and tons of chairs and benches. We were the only ones in the park around 3pm on a Wednesday but about ten more dogs showed up over the following hour. A dog fight between a couple dogs did break out while we were there (unfortunately it happens sometimes at dog parks), but the owner of the offending dog quickly apologized and removed him from the park. Some more trash cans would be nice - there are two - but clean up bags are provided.

This is a very nice dog park!! Or should I say two dog parks? One for the large and one for the smaller fury friends. There's shade for us "parents". There's so much for the kids to do! Obstacles. Even a kiddie pool. Just so nice.

This is a great dog park! They have a small dog side and a large dog side. They have trails if you feel like walking your dog or you just want to enjoy a stroll yourself. This entire park is pretty cool and in a convenient location. They have disc golf, playground, scenic ponds, and Pavilions with BBQ that you can use. The dog park has doggie bags, a kiddy pool and a dog wash station. I definitely recommend visiting!

We absolutely loved the lights the slowed down holiday pace. Got some amazing pictures. Went twice around, chatted and sang with our best friends. Made the end of my year great.

Love this park. Good to just relax, i enjoy walking and running and working out at the park. My favorite place to play a little disk golf.

Great dog park! One of the best I’ve visited throughout the east coast. It’s a grass and woodchip park that is very well upkept. There are 2 areas, one for small and one for large dogs. They even have an un-tip-able water bowl with pebble drainage which works very well and didn’t result in a muddy cesspool surrounding the bowl. My dog always tips the bowl and then lies in the water, so this was much appreciated. There were also no muddy areas so she stayed clean the whole time (which almost never happens.) There is a dog wash area just outside of the entry gate just in case you need it. There is a doggie pool and ample shaded seating, benches and movable plastic chairs. My dog particularly loved going in and out of the shrub plantings.
