My mother worked there for years in payroll and then as director of Human Resources before she retired in the early 2000s. My father was a resident there from 2017 until his death in 2019. I recommend the Fairport Baptist Home nursing home.
What a cozy place. Feels so inviting. Staff is always welcoming and friendly. Highly recommend this facility.
Fantastic place. Great staff. Everyone is very patient and you never feel alone. Thanks guys!
Clean rooms, clean residents, kind and super attentive staff.
Mike was involved in all aspects of transitioning my parents to Assisted living from an initial discussion of options to visiting a number of nice facilities to putting us in contact with moving companies to get them settled in their new home. He made the process about as easy as this transition can be.
Mike was very helpful in providing guidance for my brother's elderly care. He listened, he understood and provided exactly the advice on how to proceed. I couldn't have done it without him.
When my father was diagnosed with dementia, I had no idea where to start. As soon as I connected with Mike Kearney, he walked me through everything. He met with me and my family multiple times, answered calls, texts, and emails, helped us fill out paper work and applications for care facilities, and worked diligently to help us find a place for dad. He was kind, understanding, and above all he is knowledgeable and a fierce advocate for your needs. If anyone is struggling to help out a loved one in need of care, reach out to Senior Care Authority of Rochester. They are fantastic!
Elderwood Fairport is fantastic. This is due to the the outstanding care and attention that the staff gives to residents. My mom has been at Elderwood for nearly a year and she loves the staff, as do I. I have observed the patience and respect that they show to residents. In addition, the food in the restaurant is excellent. Elderwood seems to attract wonderful people to work there.
I work in many different facilities across western new york as an independent contractor. This is one of the better ones. Clean rooms, clean residents, kind and attentive staff.
I have had the opportunity to work with Mike Kearney professionally and always appreciated his approach, compassion and expertise. Senior Care Authority is where you will find excellence when you need guidance and support. Recently I called Mike to help my family with placing my mother-in-law (who I adored) in a memory care community. Before we got very far in the process, she became suddenly ill and sent to the hospital. In the panic of being in the emergency department, and expecting her to be discharged. But to where?Aware her discharge could go in various directions, Mike gave us comfort and peace of mind. He had arranged plan A,B, & C for us. Sadly she passed in just a few days. But we are so grateful to have Mike’s help.
Just a drop off
Nice place
Senior Care Authority was an amazing resource to help me navigate the path for the right care for my mom. I was overwhelmed with trying to manage things for my mom from across the country. She had recently been diagnosed with Alzheimers and needed a new home. I scheduled a consultation with Senior Care Authority and the next day, Dave called me. He was so kind and patient with all my questions. Within that same month, I flew home to NY and Dave arranged my visits to several facilities to find the right match. Within a few days, my mom was set to move into assisted living. Dave guided my family the whole time and continued to check in after the move. If you need help figuring out the next steps for a loved one, give Senior Care Authority a call.
Quality care at some of the most reasonable rates in greater Rochester. We have been told new levels of care will soon be available to support residents whose needs go beyond basic assisted living.
My husband and I have been caring for his mom for 9 plus years in our home who has Dementia. The thought of an Assisted Living Facility or Nursing Home was not even considered. If not for the caring and amazing hearts of Mike and David in helping us find the best place for her with the right care the decision to move forward would not have been possible. Mike and David gave us the peace of mind we needed to move forward in the care of mom. Mike, David and their team are amazing. I know its their job to find the right facility, but it is their passion that allows the seniors and their families to thrive!
I've had the pleasure of working with Dave, Mike and now Pam as we strive to help seniors find the right and safe fit for their 'next steps'. Always willing to go above and beyond to help families navigate the complexities of senior living, I've seen this team build trust through their actions. I wouldn't hesitate to ask for their support and guidance.
In summary, we couldn't have gone through the process of finding my Father an Assisted Living facility without Senior Care Authority. They are very well connected and respected in the community. Dave was very patient with my family and coached us through the whole process. If you are going through this with a family member, I highly recommend you have Senior Care Authority on your team.
Very uncooperative staff, Oppositional. Only I,retested in getting your parents $$.
My mother-in-law is currently living at Elderwood Village at Fairport. She says she is in the perfect place for her. Prior to covid restrictions we were able to visit in her room. She opted for a double space which allows for a small living room and a bedroom. She has everything she needs there. The people are fabulous. Prior to covid, we were able to sit and visit, eat meals with her, and feel like a part of her life. Covid has changed so many things. With all that, they have been great about keeping us informed.
I love it here! They make me feel like I am at home, very friendly and always take care of our needs.
