Although the wait was a little long but it was worth it. I usually order spicy seafood noodle and black bean paste noodle so far it's one of my favorite korean restaurant in the neighborhood due to to their dedication on making their food good and value. Overall, it was good keep up the good work.

Authentic korean chinese restaurant. Their tangsuyuk is one of the best and I like their jajangmyeon, noodles have a nice chew and sauce is delish.
Food takes a while because they are busy with mostly locals.
Waitresses are really friendly tho.

Great lunch place - big portions. I liked their janangmyun and tang su yuk. The jjangbong is spicier than regular places. Good parking in the back. I think they are known for their tang su yuk and is the best menu overall.

The best pricing during lunch time that I’ve seen nearby. I’ve been going to another place near by for jajangmyeon, but this place is also really good and would definitely go back. Their combo that has jajangmyeon and the sweet/sour pork is a must! I have always wanted to get both but it’s always too much! Not here though. I can get the combo and be satisfied on all ends 😇 There’s also lots of seating and a bit of parking in the back. Limited parking. The service gets a bit slow during peak hours, so expect to wait a bit during lunch and dinner.

Ordered the black bean noodles and sweet and sour shrimp. Noodles were good. Had no complaints there. The shrimp however were so soggy. Even the parts that werent covered in sauce was just really soft for something that just came out of the fryer. Took forever to come out too. I was already done with my noodles by the time the shrimp came out. Service was on point. I have to blame the chef/cook for screwing up my experience. Order came out to $50+ for just myself. Still left a good tip for the waitress. Cant say I'll be returning unfortunately. Its a shame. I had high hopes for this place.

A very busy family-style place, and that’s a good thing! Does take a while for the food to come out, but the portions are huge and the quality is good.

This was my first time having Korean noodles with black bean sauce and it was pretty decent. Imagine lomein noodles covered in a french onion soup beef gravy.

The fried stuff is tempura style which is nice, though the “garlic” sauce on my fried chicken didn’t taste like garlic at all, rather sweet and sour sauce which was unexpected.

Overall the service was friendly and I like the vibe of this place. I’ll be returning to try some of the other menu items.
We were visiting from Atlanta where everyone always assumes the best Korean food can be found, but I politely disagree. Northern Boulevard, with all its humble storefronts where some of the best and tastiest hidden treasures can be found. I thought I knew where the best jjajangmyun, or black bean noodles, could be found, but in the time I've lived outside of New York, this noodle house has apparently and recently gained the reputation of the best jjajangmyun in town.

There are tons of combination platters in case you're craving a variety of the most popular plates (with cleverly sectioned off bowls that keep the two entrees separate), but I went straight for my tried and true order of black bean noodles and especially appreciated that there was a vegetarian variety for non-meat eaters like me. I've never seen whole broccoli florets in my black bean sauce but I appreciated the healthful touch. Plus everyone else at the table who ordered the regular kind seemed to be gazing enviously at my verdant pops of veg.

The noodles are fresh, with just the slightest toothsome quality, and the sauce was just as delicious as my parents promised it'd be. We also ordered some of the spicy battered shrimp, which ended up being a little softer than I'd like, but when a dish is so saucy, it's hard to maintain a crunchy batter.

This was our very first meal after our plane touched down in New York, and it'll likely be where I have every first meal henceforth when I visit.
