When Covid first came out we went here to get tested and received a bill from their lab service for over $900.00 I wrote the lab and said everyone else in Yuma is testing for free so I’m not paying this bill and I got a reply that said we’re sorry yo shouldn’t have been billed.
I've been seeing Dr. Kuder (yes he has a PhD) since 2015. Today is August 2, 2023.

He did have bad clerical staff. That person was let go. Yes his CNA staff have to multitask now and then. Newly hired staff are better prepared.

I, as a client, am responsible for my body and my health. Dr. Kuder and I work carefully together on referrals, prescriptions and I am completely grateful for Dr. Kuder's bedside manor and staff. I might suggest when you have an appointment bring a calendar you can write on.
I have an extensive background in healthcare, healthcare administration, and referral management and from the outside in it really looks like the support staff at this facility are either overworked, under motivated, or under educated. It doesn't take 20 days to place a network referral. I shouldn't have to micro manage you via weekly phone calls to ensure my semi-acute referral is placed. Everyone is "in line" here. There is no triage when it comes to care beyond the facility.

You're at risk of miscarriage and need to see an OB for specialized care? You'll have to wait, I have 25 physical therapy referrals to write first.

My first time at Fortuna Med Group was a 5 star. The support staff was really good and spent the time with me as needed. Steven Kuder also took the time to perform an initial work up on me and he was VERY thorough. I am a happy patient there.
They have the worst accounting system. They don’t bill your insurance for 2 years then say you owe the money. Then you pay with credit card and then they say you didn’t pay. The only reason there of business is Dr. Kooter other than that people wouldn’t come there.
While I liked the doctor, his staff is extremely Unprofessional and rude. The first visit started out ok, until they took me into a little room to clean my wound. When I walked in, there was a surgical table with Sutures and gauze with blood all over it, just sitting there. The nurse then proceeds to grab a pack of gauze off that table, to use on me. I said, hey, That is not ok. She said , it is fine. No gloves either. Now, I am refused my meds, that keep me alive and breathing, because my truck is broke down and cant get to the office. I have been talked down to and met with nothing but attitude. Do not Recommend!!
Dr Kuder and most of the staff are amazing. Yes, the wait time is long but that is because they do not rush the patient care like an assembly line. They make you feel like family, loved and cared for. They remember you and your family. They were there for our family during our most difficult time and I wouldn’t trust mine, my husbands or my children’s care with anyone else. They all have a heart of gold and we are blessed to have found them.
First, this clinic doesn't have a doctor. Stephen Kuder is a Nurse Practioner, and a very good one. The office is only a little over a year old and it does need work. The staff has always been nice to me. The negatives are that you will spend at least two hours there each time. While Mr Kuder is very friendly and caring, he needs to be mindful of the folks who are waiting patiently to be seen, sometimes up to an hour.
