Review/Warning for American Tourists
It seems this establishment isn't very welcoming to American tourists. From the start, the staff appeared annoyed about seating us. The steak was a major disappointment, SEVERELY overcooked to the point of being blackened and tough, despite ordering it medium rare. The waitress forgot our wine order, and when we reminded her, she brought a single glass instead of the 25 cl we requested but charged us for the full amount.
Overall, the food was just mediocre and overpriced - way overpriced. Initially, I intended to leave a generous tip since it was our last night in France and I don’t want to bring back all this euro cash, but the subpar food and service changed my mind. It was clear we were not wanted there. Service was non-existent before the food arrived and annoyingly attentive as we were finishing, as if they were eager to clear us out. They kept trying to take away our plates even though they had food on them. Interestingly, the tables occupied by locals were still enjoying their drinks undisturbed. They had the audacity to ask for a tip when we paid. We had to physically get up and go to the bar to pay.
My daughter and I just happened to be walking and saw this place. We stopped in to get a bite to eat. There's sidewalk seating as well as indoor seating. We were treated to the terrace seating in the back. The workers speak English. The food was very good and the beer cold.

Excellent food, it's a lovely place to eat. They always try to help where possible, and its especially great as some of the staff speak English as I do not speak French.

Very authentic restaurant in a cosy airport village serving quintessential French food. Lots of meat choices (the onglet de bouef was very good) and a good house Bourgogne. Can also recommend the mozarella di bufala as a starter and the tarte des pommes as desert. All in all, a good robust experience. Good price/quality.
10min drive from CDG Airport (12-15€ with Uber/Bolt as of April 2023). Worth the ride if you have a long layover. The food was delicious and the service was optimal.
I came during my layover on a Wednesday at 10am.

This was the only restaurant open at the time in the village. Still, no one serves food until 12.. so that was a bummer.

The waiter was very nice and brought me nuts with my rosè.

It’s very easily accessible by bus from the airport.

This could be such an idyllic restaurant, set as it is in the heart of Roissy-en-France, opposite the beautiful park.
Two things left it down and do it from its 5-star potential - the staff and the food.
It's difficult to tell if the staff issue was due to us being English, but we were ignored and left waiting consistently, while locals were given priority. A long wait for drinks, a long wait to take our order, a long wait for food, no check to see if we enjoyed either our starters or mains, a long wait for the bill. It must have added an hour to our meal!
As for the food, the snails were my own fault for giving them a try - they weren't for me! But day-old bread I could have use to hammer nails was on them. I got it replaced with much fresher bread, but it would have been good to have that first!
My duck was well-cooked and fresh but the salad was bruised and limp, and the overall flavour of the meal was not what I expect of good French cooking.
It wouldn't take much to turn this restaurant around and next time in the area I will give it another go...

Great food and atmosphere, the service was prompt but do not expect a warm welcome if you are not French. Our waiter took our order and served us but with begrudgingly.

The atmosphere was warm and the food was delicious. I would go back again if I am in Roissy. Prices were fair.
