Top Hydroelectric power plants in Wayatinah, Australia

Attended open day on 23 March 2024 at Liapootah in the Central Highlands of Tasmania. Hydro organised a fantastic day with a great tour of this 1960’s built hydro power station with a BBQ & a very cool souvenir dish towel at the end. My engineer husband geeked out on the turbines and the now heritage listed control room. Unfortunately no photos allowed.

8km in or 16km return on well graded dirt road any car can drive.
