The Gefion Fountain in Copenhagen is an impressive sculptural masterpiece, narrating a beautiful Norse legend. Its picturesque location makes it an ideal spot for memorable photos. A must-visit for city visitors.

One of the great monuments whose story I love is in Copenhagen Harbor.

According to the story; Gefion, who asked the king for land, wanted the king to plow the land within 24 hours. But he didn't have any equipment. He used his divine powers and made his 4 sons bulls. And in this way he plowed the field and the King of Sweden gave the land he wanted.
By the way, you can throw money into the pool and make a wish. maybe Gefion will make a wish come true for you.
there were coffee cars when we were there if you're lucky they are there again and get yourself a coffee

Not too vastly outstanding than other fountains across other European cities.

It is near the popular tourist spot of the little mermaid, so accesibility is good.

This is a pretty big and very beautiful cascade fountain.
You cannot miss it when heading to Little Mermaid which is just straight ahead, while to the left is the former military fortress of Kastellet.
The fountain depicts Norse Goddess Gefion plowing the sea - an allegory of Sealand island where's the Danish capital. Perfect photo op

An impressive fountain indeed. It's close to other attractions and interesting spots. We took a couple nice pictures. To be honest, this is more impressive than the statue of Mermaid, the reason for our stop here.
