1. Kochi offers an iconic destination that is a must-visit. Located at the entrance of Broadway, Ernakulam, this place exudes a Victorian-era charm that is sure to captivate both locals and tourists. While parking may not be available, there is a convenient parking lot near the ktdc information center. Additionally, the coffee house is a popular spot frequented by many, and they have recently opened a dedicated shop for delectable sweets and confectioneries. Despite its historic interiors, the hygiene standards are well-maintained, making it an ideal place to enjoy a delicious meal, snacks, and a delightful cup of coffee.
We have been visiting this hotel for a long time. The food used to be exceptionally good. We used to love the customer service. But recently the food's quality has been degrading. I visited today(19/5/24) and I absolutely hated the food especially fried rice and Masala Dosa!! The rice was sticky and not edible. The dosa was charred and really crunchy.
I have decided not to visit this Hotel ever again.
Not higenic and service is so bad.
If we order Vada, waiter will take it from some strangers plate and give to you.
I told this incident to the lady in the counter she was not even ready to respond or even ask what happened.
She is so busy counting money.
Please try to avoid these kind of places.
Good service, and excellent taste 😋😍 food was good & great value for money !

Food came on the table very fast but taste wise no good. Very poor service. Zero cleanliness. Very bad attitude from staffs. Never going to this place again. I think people visit this place only because it is in front of the railway station.

Poori baji - 4 out of 5
Idili - 4 out of 5
Cheese masala dosa - 2.5 out of 5, masala dosa is more advisable.

Good coffee, horlicks, lime juice...

Good vegetarian hotel! We had masala dosa, vada, chappathi, tea and coffee, from this hotel. All those dishes were tasty. There is a wide space inside the hotel. The table service is really great and fast. Moreover, the gender based toilets are highly neat and clean. Altogether not bad, and kind of comfortable to the public.

One feels unwelcomed when entering and ordering. Stuff is terrible. Dosas average. Not worth coming for dosa except you wanna have dosa for lunch.
The food was very good and the quality was perfect for the price and they had the best service and attending staffs who were friendly too, but the thing I was disappointed was the washroom, it was so horrible, they don't even provide tissue in wash area , but despite the washroom I would recommend this place for large group and family.
The food is tasty and the price is very reasonable. We tried thali there.
Good food, one of the best veg restaurant in Kerala along with Palarivattom Brindavan!

Easily accessible by way of road.
The location and the busy nature of the municipal private bus stand nearby won't let the customers park their vehicles with peace of mind.
Not the ideal, calm and quiet place to have food from!
NO wheelchair-friendly entrance is available and the parking space is subject to availability depending on the time of the day that a customer visits this hotel that sells South Indian dishes.

One of my favourite hotel.my best dish is ghee roast it's a fantastic tasty food.most selling things that I think are ghee roast, masala dosa and meals.i started eating food from there when I was a kid.even now the dishes are becoming tastier and tastier
Food was really good...Had masala dosa and coffee..Vada was super crispy and hot...Overall food is really worth..Good parking
But was a traveller toilet is important...Eventhough lots of people use the washroom morning time, restaurant is responsible to keep it clean for use to the next person. Was dirty inside and leakages also around pipe...
One of the best vegetarian hotels near Idappally in Cochin with enough parking space.
Worst hotel I've ever visited but sadly every week I should eat from here because it's near by the station. The classes are not washed properly you can see that clearly. The waiters always will keep you wait. Especially their dosa butter always old one because always the dosa tastes salty but nobody complaints. Still don't have other choices.

The food and customer service were good. There was enough parking space and a security person to help us.
I had their vegetable cutlet which was very good, one of the better vegetable cutlets available in kochi. Their coffee was also good. But it wasn't heated enough, would have liked it more that way.

The service was great they ambience could have some upliftment.
Good breakfast. The idlis were soft, fresh.
Service slow. Could be cleaner and brighter.
Simple, nice restaurant for standard south Indian tiffin items. Located conveniently near Tripunithara railway station.

Went here for breakfast. Dosa items were pretty good, chutney could have been a bit spicier. Coffee too was good. Quite economical pricing.
Oldest hotel in Eranamkulam (Prime location)
Room service is good and cleaned.
Food is average only

The food is good and a nice place to have a quick grab of breakfast.
Very local restaurant with plenty of Vegan food options. No cutlery so local experience eating with your hands. Very very cheap and highly recommended for great tasting local food
Takes you back in time with the vintage atmosphere. The food was nostalgic. The only miss was the excess time as they prepared everything fresh!
Nice pure Vegetarian option in Kochi on the way to Kottayam.
AC rooms inside and standard ones outside.
Unlimited thali was nice.
Lots of parking space available.
I had an extremely disappointing experience at this hotel. The receptionist was shockingly rude, especially towards my mother. When we raised our concerns, he dismissively told us to handle it ourselves. Additionally, the rooms were poorly maintained. I hope the management addresses these issues promptly, particularly the receptionist's behaviour.
Families please stay away from this hotel.
Iconic place to visit in Kochi. Situated in the entrance of Broadway, Ernakulam. Parking is not available so if you are on a car, probably you will have to park it in the parking lot near ktdc information center. The coffee house is frequented by lot of locals as well as tourists. Victorian era ambience can be felt. They have opened a dedicated shop for sweets and other confectioneries. Even though the interiors are from pre Independence era, the hygiene is well maintained.. A good place to visit for meals, snacks and a great coffee..
Will get a historical vibe...old cafe with heritage. But the food is just average. The coffee wasn't tasty

I was a regular customer from start. But after a while, i had a masala dosa and found a small cocroach in it. Never went to this place again.
Moderately good accommodation. Centrally located with Metro and South Railway Junction close by. Only Vegetarian food available and is reasonably priced.
We had breakfast in this place few days back. In breakfast they had very limited options but the foods they served was very tasty indeed. We had masala dosa and coffee. Price was also very reasonable and quantity also very good. They served very quickly as the staff were very good and friendly. Environment of the eating place was also family friendly as you can take your family easily to there and have a meal any time. I don't know about the stay as I haven't stayed there. This review us only for the eating place of them.

Today I started having my breakfast from here, it exceeded all expectations. The highlight of my visit was undoubtedly the Ghee Roast - perfectly crisp on the outside, yet wonderfully soft on the inside. The subtle richness of ghee added a delightful twist that made it truly exceptional. Have it with Chutney, Sambar.

The Vada was equally impressive and their Coffee was of great taste.
Very good vegetarian food at almost affordable prices.
Experience and service is also nice for the price.

Tried masala dosa and poori masala multiple times and every time it was tasty.
Enough seats are available but get crowded at peak times mainly for breakfast.

Toilet facilities available.
Parking available at front and at backside.
Accepts cards and UPI payments.

THEY ARE OPEN ALL DAY. NOT CLOSED FOR LUNCH TIME. I am so happy I found some giant dosai while in kerela. Tamil nadu is very famous for them, but this one was WONDERFUL! And i ordered with extra sambar and they gave me a whole bowl! Love them! I will be back 100%❤️❤️❤️❤️ friendly, good food, quiet setting. Perfect for sitting and enjoying! 😁🤗

I had been here for more than 10 years to have my breakfast, as my office was near this restaurant. Just one sentence to describe - "The owners are also eating the same food they serve to us.." I had seen this many times.
An 100 year old building, a 70 year old restaurant in one of the oldest shopping centres in Kochi, possibility past it prime and maybe even old age, but still has many nostalgic stories to tell.
Food is as good as yester years, place is almost the same, no renovation, no update but still inviting.

Great place for snacks and a drink.
Good vegetarian food, clean place, enjoyed having my meals there.
Totally a bad experience. Food was not tasty and service also was below average. Price are also oh the higher side.

We ordered Dosa and Vada combo for 6 members and 2 idlis for a baby boy. We also ordered 3 coffees.

Coming to food:
Dosa or Ghee roast was tasty and was given with 2 variety of Chutneys and Sambar.
Vada was crisp.
Coffee was strong.

Service was good.

Restaurant is neat and well maintained.
Neat dine-in, spacious, neat. Food quality and quantity is reasonable. Spacious parking area. Good service, sometimes lightning fast. Tomato rice felt below average. Pani poori is available here. Menu items are limite. Not an option for people who are looking for something special.

Recommendable good vegetarian food from Arya Bhavan. The environment isn't great to dine in, but there's no need to doubt the food served. Customer-friendly staff. Polite attitude as well. Average waiting time for food too. There's also Arun Ice cream available here.

Best spot for travellers to have food without any worries.
1. Masala dosha (3/5)
It was fine. It costed Rs 70
2. Vada (4/5)
It was fine. Cossted Rs 15
3. Idli (3.5/5)
It was good too. Costs Rs 12 per idli
4. Ghee roast (3/5)
Icosts more than masala dosha here. It might be the same everywhere too nowadays I guess but before the price of ghee roast was less comparatively.
There are not many good restaurants near Ernakulam North. Some years back I had had breakfast from here and it was back then. So, today I opted to have lunch from here. Ordered chapathi and chicken curry. Chicken curry was a disaster. For Rs. 120, the chicken curry was loose gravy with pieces and the chicken was hard as hell. Chewing the rubb(er)ish meat was not funny. Hated this. This is my last visit to this hotel.

It's not a typical clean restaurant, rather a Budget one. The food is good, and has varieties.
Loved the Veg Pulav Noodles are average. Paneer curry is good.
If you're looking for budget and pure veg types prefer this one
Cute and small Vegetarian hotel setup with variety of South Indian and Chineese Food items. It is a hidden gem of Tripunithura for its Quality food, affordable rate and quick service.
Must Try : Channa Battora, Dragon Gobi (Oily at times), Chilli Porottta.
Good : Ghee Roast and Coffee.
I visit this restaurant since my childhood. Whenever we visit Poornathrayeesa temple or surrounding places whether its breakfast or its dinner we visit here. After so long i revisited here and their food tasted same as before. My favourite dish here is Batura with Channa curry!!! (Recommended)
REVIEW: Their service is so good and they've kept the place very clean. Their food is so so delicious whether its Bature, dosa, fried rice etc... Its also so affordable. A HIGHLY RECOMMENDED PLACE. You should visit here with your family and have a beautiful time together. NOTE: This is the exact place if you haven't tried Bature. ❤️

Hotel Sree Abhirami, a pure Veg Restaurant, is located just opposite to Entrance gate of Ernakulam Town Railway Station.

I had ordered a poori Masala for breakfast. The taste was good. The tea they served was also upto the mark. The hotel is mostly crowded, passengers comes to North railway station always depend on this hotel to have food. The dining experience and furniture may not entice us, but food to me was good.

The cashier was good in customer relations. When I went there to pay my bill, I hadn't received the bill yet, The tea I ordered was also not served by waiter. He himself went to kitchen, and brought tea for me.
I visited this hotel and had a mixed experience. The food was good, but the prices were above average, although some items were reasonably priced, like the paneer curry. The atmosphere was nice, but it can get crowded during peak hours. Parking used to be ample, but due to NH66 construction, it's now limited. The beverages were enjoyable, but I wouldn't recommend the lime juice as it was too diluted. They have a sweet stall inside with some delicious options, though some were expensive. Unfortunately, the lady in charge of sweets was not customer-friendly and didn't display the sweet prices. When I asked for the rates, her behavior became rude......!!!

I recommend... For bbreakfast (90/- per head), lunch (meals 120/-) and dinner.

Average vegetarian restaurant offering indian and chinese dishes. Had masala dosa, chappathi curry, channa batoora, meals and veg noodles. Masala dosa was good but chutney is watery. Chappathi curry was decent. No chilli sauce with noodles else it would have been better. Meals is average with payasam at Rs 85/-. Channa batoora was good but available after 3 pm. Enough space to sit and relax.

Service staffs are polite. Reasonable price and gpay available.

Located at hospital road, right next to municipal bus stand, tripunithura. This vegetarian restaurant has good seating area, but less parking(as it is located in a very crowded area). Staff are friendly and organised. Tried out their food on various occasions and they are always consistently good, especially their ghee roast and chilly porotta. Overall, for travellers and daily commuters at tripunithura, this is a good vegetarian option(though there are other better options as well). Price of ghee roast - 65 rupees.

The food delivered here is good. It is one of the famous restaurant in kochi, Kerala if you looking for vegetarian options. They include most of the vegetarian dishes including Masala dosa, chinna bhatoore, ghee roast, Puri masala, Vada etc ...
They have ample parking and good service. Masala dosa with Vada and thali meals are the best.
overall service is good and usually it is crowded.
Overall verdict: One of the best Restaurant in kochi for masala dosa with Vada.
It’s a must visit for us each time we land in kochi. It’s such a nostalgic feel that you get when you step into the century restaurant. We always have the cutlet and coffee. Parking can be a challenge, however there is a pay and park at the entrance of broad way. Don’t expect modern facilities and luxury there.
The restaurant is an absolute delight to eat. The uncle serving was very warm and very hospitable and asked us everything of what we like. The beef curry and Parotta and Aapam were heavenly and the taste was just absolutely fantastic. Would surely recommend this little place to all everyone far and wide who are making their way towards the Town Station or leaving from there. Everything from this place is just so damn tasty ♥️
The place is neat. You get decent vegetarian food. There are the usual South Indian, North Indian and Chinese varieties available. The place is crowded. The price is reasonable. They maintain the place neat and tidy. For a quick bite, you can always step in. Their Dragon Gobi is a good starter.

Veg restaurant near Ernakulam junction railway station. Breakfast was good, quick service and clean family room. Poori was delicious and Vadai was crispy-yummy. Gave us medicinal hot water. It was so refreshing 😀. Dosa/ Masala dosa was average, not as good as Poori and Vadai.
Coffee was good.

An inexpensive restaurant. Friendly staff. Basic vegetarian food is served. Parking is limited. Supportive staff members.
Tasty vegan food and nice ambiance in town.
Tasty veg food. The rustic age old look and feel is the same. As the name goes, coffee is a must try. There is a small family dinning area, which you may come across only in some of the old restaurants. There is a renovated sweets counter in the front. Very reasonable price. Located in a crowded market place and hence four wheeler parking isn't available, you can park at the nearby pay and park.

This is the second time I visited this place as there are no nearby options were available for a breakfast. Tried idli last time and it was good but nothing special. This time it was masala dosa. The dosa was tasty but unfortunately there was only a table spoon of masala inside which was surprised me. And the pricing for that is 70 bucks. I felt over priced for a dosa with a spoon of masala in it. And remember it is a self-service cafeteria.

Very good experience from here. We had tried chilly idli, podi dosa and thattu dosa and all tasted yummy. Packing was nice and their chutneys are awesome. Highly recommended for quick bites. Parking is limited as its located in the main road. We didnt get a chance to try their coffee as it was late and they were about to close the shop. Decent pricing as well.

Dosa as you see was really huge & now compare it with the chutney & sambhar too too less . That summarises experience isn’t it ?
Sambhar was good but quantity too less & even if you ask again you may just get sufficient sambhar . Dosa was mediocre & if you are vegetarian & stuck around North railway station kaloor & hungry then perhaps you can visit this place .

One more point never order Idli from dosa world - idli is just bigger than capsule.

No value for money 💰
I liked it neat and good food
