Been here a few times and I’ve never been disappointed. The food is amazing and flavorful and doesn’t taste processed, the wait staff is super friendly and the service is quick. The atmosphere is pleasant but a little loud. Overall I highly recommend.

Heirloom has been my top favorite coffee and tea shop in Raleigh for years! But I just recently discovered their dinner setup.

The service was incredible: perfect first date, valentines, anniversary or just a cozy dinner spot.

The highlight of our night was one of the staff members running out to get tonic to serve us a drink we wanted to try. They really go above and beyond for their customers there.

The food was incredible and carefully selected to entertain your taste buds. The casual dinner we planned turned into an enjoyable experience full of new flavors that made our night!

This place was great! I had the breakfast baguette, and it was honestly the best breakfast sandwich I have had. Their coffee drinks are perfect. I only gave the atmosphere a 4 stars because I'm a big fan of partitioned dining areas, and this one is wide open, mostly because it's a small space in assuming. But I was still able to getting some focus while working on my book. I will definitely be returning!

I visited while in town from the coast for the holidays, and I couldn’t be happier that I did! I’m newly pregnant and met some friends here, so the meal was extra special.

My family and I used to love a place called Humble Pie, and I was thrilled to discover the chef here—it’s clear his talent and creativity haven’t missed a beat. The food was absolutely phenomenal. We ordered several shared plates and one of the main courses, and every dish was thoughtfully crafted, presented, and flavorful. You can tell a lot of care goes into every dish from the blue crab, to the Lao chicken, Brussels, noodles, cabbage dishes and more.

The service was exceptional—friendly, attentive, and very helpful. The environment was warm and welcoming, with a beautiful atmosphere that helped make whole dining experience.

I’ll absolutely be back next time I’m in town. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a memorable dining experience!

Brunch is delicious. A lot of tasty options.

The chicken biscuit is one of a kind. The chicken itself is a standout part of the dish. Crispy, flavorful breading coats the melt in your mouth chicken.

The ice cream in the honey butter toast was heavenly. A beautiful combo.

The Sando was delectable! The softness and thickness of the bread held the papaya slaw and other ingredients well. The papaya slaw works well to balance the bite.

I’ve never had figs infused in my cocktail before. I wasn’t aware how well gin pairs with fig and honey. Nonetheless, it is a drink I’d order again.

Such a fun and nice spot to grab dinner with friends. I loved the ambiance of the entire restaurant from its menu to its setting, and to the outdoor area. Such an underrated and hidden gem if you're on the search for Mexican food. Their drinks in particular were probably the best part, with them offering a whole bunch of unique cocktails.

Almost every time I go to Raleigh I come here. My favorite is chilaquiles vegan style.
This is my go-to dish, every time.
The atmosphere is friendly, and the location is small but personal. If you get a chance, try them, and you will not be disappointed.

4 stars because the music is kitschy. The food, though! Delicious vegan options. They are my go to for vegan Mexican. I think they should add a vegan loaded nachos and my life would forever be changed. Great drinks and seasonal margaritas as well. One vegan taco is about $3.50.

I've been here a few times (and done an in-depth review that Google has decided doesn't exist anymore for some reason) and really like it.

They have a lot of gluten free and vegan options, especially as taco fillings. They offer vegan cheese, sour cream, rice and beans also.

The menu is well labeled. I would've taken more pictures of it, but they were on my last review that has now mysteriously disappeared. So I'll have to add more menu pics when I go back again.

Overall, I really like the food and the atmosphere there. Good choices for everyone in your party, no matter the dietary restrictions. So this is a place I'd highly suggest checking out if you're in the area.
Very loud for dining. If you’re looking for a bar style place to go this is your spot. I loved all the vegan options however much of it is pretty processed. The pumpkin (I mislabeled it earlier) seed dip could use a little heat/flavor. The green chiliquillia was very flavorful. The wait staff was friendly but the place is pretty pricey even for vegan food. Overall if a bar feel is your deal, you won’t be disappointed.

I recently dined at Yard House in North Hills, and while the restaurant's decor and location are definitely standout features, the overall experience fell flat. The atmosphere is undeniably impressive, with a modern, stylish design that makes for a great first impression. However, beyond the aesthetics, the dining experience didn’t quite hit the mark.

The food was just okay—nothing particularly memorable—and frankly, overpriced for what it was. It seemed like you were paying more for the setting than the quality of the meal itself. I expected more from a place that looks so upscale. The dishes lacked the flavor or creativity you’d expect at this price point, which was a letdown.

What really left a sour taste in my mouth, though, was the service. It was slow, inattentive, and disappointing overall. For a restaurant in such a prime location, I was expecting much better. When you’re paying a premium, you at least want to feel well taken care of, and that just wasn’t the case.

In the end, while the atmosphere is top-notch, the food and service don’t justify the cost. I probably won’t be going back anytime soon.

Paris was so incredibly thoughtful. I was speaking with her about a dental exam I had earlier that day and she surprised me with a cake and card from the staff. Next level hospitality. I’m not local, but if I was, I would recommend this location to anyone. Awesome service

I stopped in on 9/13 to enjoy Happy Hour and ended up having a better experience than I had planned. Alaysia was one of the best servers I've had! This was my second time visiting this location, and this visit was even better than the first. I enjoyed their Happy Hour deals, especially the spinach dip and sliders, and my drink was delicious. Before leaving, Alaysia surprised me with a birthday dessert and card—I was at a loss for words! One of the managers also came by to ensure everything was okay and to wish me a happy birthday. I truly appreciate the attentiveness of the staff. I'll definitely be back!

Great spot centrally located in downtown Raleigh on a popular corner. I’ve been wanting to come here for a while and luckily I came after the lunch rush show was really chill and there was great service. I definitely will come back here again great vibes for a team lunch. And my food came out very quickly.

The food and drink are always great. The only complaints for me is the bathrooms are always unkempt with tissue sprawled everywhere, overflowing trash cans, & soap is empty, which is very concerning. Plus there’s always a long wait time to be seated and the bar is always overcrowded with people squished ontop of each other.

Parking garage had parking and access to the restaurant was easy. We were greeted my Kat and Olivia showed us our table. Autumn was our server and it seemed like it was going to be a good night. Food was ok and when cooking a burger we'll done, it's a temperature achievement not a texture. The burger was burnt and hard to get past the taste. The other dishes were simple and ok. We had to ask for our waitress more than three times and had to get our own to go containers. This was not a great first experience and I don't plan on returning, especially after having to keep over served people from crashing into our table. The waitress also showed up as we were getting ready to leave and grabbed the tip off the table before we left. We spent an extra hour there waiting and asking for our waitress the entire night. Also the home made blueberry ketchup is not that great.

While the service and atmosphere was great, and had a vast amount of options that were vegetarian friendly, the food was mediocre. Great to great a casual bite to eat. The California veggie burger was okay, a bit dry/bland. However, the dessert and service was fast and friendly :)

This place exceeded my expectations!!! I got the red enchiladas and they were even better than the enchiladas I got in Playa del Carmen. Franklin gave us top service, he recommended the mango habanero margaritas which we were hesitant to get at first but were so glad we did. We will definitely be coming back!!

Great food. I especially love taking folks here for breakfast if I'm dropping them off at the airport. I highly recommend the chicken porridge. Coffee and drinks are pretty good, and the staff is nice and helpful. The atmosphere here is really great, so this is a mice place to have some coffee and get some work done. They also have sake and beer offerings, which is a nice plus if you visit later in the day.

Went here for breakfast this morning and a place to sit in on a virtual meeting and it was SO fantastic. Cute, clean, and peaceful inside. The person working was really friendly and kind which added to the atmosphere. I got the Lao Fog and it is my new favorite drink ANYWHERE. You must try it! I also got overnight oats with mango and they were the perfect breakfast. I recommend both to start your morning in a wonderfully bright mood. I bought a jar of chilli crisp on my way out as they have some items for purchase as well, perfect for gifts. Just truly a peaceful and enjoyable experience.

The restaurant was clean and open. The interior design is beautiful. Lots of natural light in here that I thoroughly enjoyed.

The food was delicious. They had a pasta with aged parmesan that was perfection but unfortunately was a temporary menu item. The braised crab claws were ok but the flavor wasn't something I was in love with. Crispy shrimp was perfectly crunchy, the dipping sauce with it is SPICY! So be warned! I love that they offer both small and large plates.

Service was quick and good was served hot. The staff checked in regularly to make sure we didn't need anything.

A cute restaurant for your small snack needs or big meals alike.

So delicious! We had the bbq platter, Mac and cheese, meatloaf, fried mozzarella, and lion’s main Rangoon. For dessert, we had the peanut butter cheesecake. Each of us were blown away by how delicious this meal was.

The food is excellent and portions are large. I enjoyed my chocolate chip pancakes. The biscuits are fluffy and go well with the cranberry apple butter. It is loud though.
Had brunch with my sister. I can't Rabe enough about this place. I lived in the South all my life, and that's the best biscuit i have ever had. It was big but fluffy and soft. Not dry a bit and homemade apple butter. We had drinks of course. She had the 5 mini jars of mimosas, but the "winter wonderland" was lite but refreshing. And for breakfast, the stuffed French toast was scrumptious it was drizzled with a raspberry compote no syrup needed
You're missing out if u don't eat here

Amazing food. I would have to say, in my opinion, The food was absolutely delicious and very flavorful. The steak was cooked very well, and I prefer my steak to be slightly seasoned. The steak was cooked medium-rare, which I asked. The atmosphere of the restaurant was excellent, and very attentive servers.
We came on a Tuesday evening. We were very pleased to get complementary biscuits and apple butter. They were delicious. I ordered the eggs Benedict and fried green tomatoes. My boyfriend ordered the stuffed French toast with eggs and bacon. The eggs Benedict was very delicious and a good portion size. The fried green tomatoes had an interesting, garnish that I wasn’t sure was going to work, but it ended up tasting very good. The stuffed French toast was a little too sweet in our opinion…it was more of a dessert. I also had a shy latte. That was just OK. Our service was very good, and they were attentive for the most part. Overall, the experience was good. We will be back probably for an official breakfast.

This was our first time at The Fiction Kitchen. I am the vegan in our house, but my husband is not and he was the skeptical one. Unsurprisingly, I loved my meal. Everything about what I had was delicious and flavorful. What was surprising is my husband's reaction - he said it was the best meal out he'd had in a very long time. Thank you for helping to show him that eating vegan doesn't mean you have to sacrifice anything. We both are excited to return soon and try more things on the menu.
Absolutely incredible breakfast. We sat at the bar to avoid the wait and it was so much fun to sit there. Portions are generous, price is totally reasonable. Service is great. Will be making the hour trip often!! Beware when it’s busy it’s LOUD. But totally worth it.

Second visit. Drove more than an hour from home for my granddaughter's birthday. We remembered how much we had loved the food the first time we went at their previous location. We shared Mozzarella sticks, the Risotto, and Meatloaf dinner. We split everything and still took half home for another meal! The food is simply outstanding. I wish it were closer I would eat here all of the time! The only downside is it's a little pricey - especially the wine. I got the cheapest glass of red ($12) and it was not a generous pour - however it was a really good glass of wine! My granddaughter had a delicious mocktail and they brought the Tres Leches dessert for her birthday. That was amazing!
Great breakfast place. Artsy decor and friendly staff. Sometime short wait on Sunday mornings. The biscuits are perfect blend of light, fluffy, and moist. The grits are the best I’ve ever had. Lots of delicious breakfast choices. Eggs Benedict was great. Was my first visit and I would go again anytime !
It was a nice place very friendly service only down side was no syrup was offered for our French toast . Eggs n bacon were good. The grits I did not care for but the highlight was the vanilla latte. And of course the biscuits were fresh n warm it was delish . Not sure if we would return but definitely worth the try 😊
Super cute place! My boyfriend and I had the chicken pita and it was phenomenal!! First time here and we will certainly be back!! Everyone was very kind and helpful. Fast service! Truly a hidden gem 💕
This is one of my favorite places to eat and get items I cannot find anywhere else. The food is outstanding. I usually get a Kabob platter with three sides. The hummus is delicious. Anything you order here will be delicious. They also have a grocery area with a lot of difficult-to-find items. This is a must-try if you visit or live in the area.
We eat here at least twice a month. It is cafeteria style where you pick out what you want from the food display behind the glass. The food is always tasty and the quality is consistent.
There is a heated outdoor eating space as well as the indoor dining area.
Best Mediterranean cuisine in town that I have found!

The place is exquisite, fine dining. I was very impressed with service and food. There was a little wait time, but it's definitely worth the wait. I tried parmesan truffle fries here for the first time, and I'm absolutely hooked now. It's a unique taste but amazing. The lobster shrimp pasta had a rich and succulent flavor. So delicious. My fish and chips were perfectly crispy outside and juicy tender in side.

First time and last time going there , rude staff , i ordred chicken shawarma but they give me lettuce shawarma 🤷‍♂️ well put more chicken and less lettuce , wth
This is their temporary location until they move into new building. So the outside is very grey not green.
I brought my daughter here for a Christmas gift extra while she was visiting me from Tennessee.
She is vegetarian and was pleased.
I took pictures of menu as best I could.

Our Christmas order pickup. Pot roast $70 and roasted root veges $25
Food was delicious. Pot roast had a ‘curry’ flavor. But was very tasty and well prepared. However, the veges to meat ratio was not great. Just 9 cubed piece of meat. I thought there should have been bit more pieces then what we got, and lesser of the abundance of vegetables in it. The root veges were amazing.

The Fiction Kitchen is now my favorite vegan spot in Raleigh. The globally inspired menu is creative and flavorful, with fresh, seasonal ingredients. I especially loved the Lion's Mane Rangoons, which was crispy and delicious. The portions are generous, and the prices are very reasonable. We also got some mozzarella sticks for starters and some red wine. The noodle bowl and the curry bowl were great entree options and we also added the tofu as a protein on it. The restaurant itself is warm and inviting, with a bright and airy atmosphere. We visited their temporary location as they are rebuilding their old one. The staff is friendly and attentive, and they were happy to answer my questions about the menu. Tres Leches cake was just the perfect way to end the meal.

Food and service were great! Price point is high, the portions were small, and I would have liked the option of sides to round them out, but everything was delicious. The oyster mushroom calamari was especially good. We loved the singer! Wish I had gotten her name, she was very good.
Disappointing via online order. Looks like if you just go and order it may be better. Food was okay not great. Lamb was disgusting and flatbread was cafeteria quality, falafel super dry overcooked. They don’t update their inventory either so overall would not recommend for online pickup. Definitely not worth the $.

I went in for coffee and ended up ordering the Guido sandwich. I have to say it was one of the best sandwiches that I have eaten.

The ciabatta bread was fresh, perfectly toasted. It had perfectly caramelized onions, a layer of Gorgonzola cheese and fresh arugula. The Canelli beans, and the couscous paired perfectly with a sandwich.
This café is a true gem for semi gourmet food.
I love Neomonde in Raleigh! It’s authentic Mediterranean food served in a flash, and it’s very inexpensive! The chicken kabobs were very tasty, and the hummus is very rich. I loved my food! The service was really great. I spoke briefly with Alisha, who treated me very nicely and told me she hopes to see me back soon. She complimented me, telling me I seem like an extremely intelligent individual. She mentioned they have a few other locations other than this one in Raleigh, though she did not say where. I would highly recommend this wonderful place
A Culinary Journey Through The Mediterranean Its Finest!

Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (5 out of 5 stars)

This modern Mediterranean deli seamlessly blends the charm of an old-school shop with an extraordinary culinary experience. The menu showcases staples from the region, delivering a dining experience that surpasses many traditional restaurants.

The deli is nothing short of phenomenal, offering a gastronomic journey that exceeded my expectations. The variety of sides and desserts is a testament to the rich flavors and authenticity of Mediterranean cuisine. The establishment not only satisfies your taste buds but also provides a delightful shopping experience.

Navigating the menu is made easy with the included pictures, a thoughtful touch for fellow North Carolina natives. This deli is a must-visit, a gem that deserves a permanent spot in any food enthusiast's rotation. 👌
We had an incredible experience. Excellent customer service, caring, efficiently and delicious food with vegan menu. We recommend the flying biscuit breakfast and vegan tofu wrap. Our server Gabriell was magnificent , highly professional flawlessly managing the bar and tables. We were delighted and impressed.

It was a mild chilly after thanksgiving Friday early afternoon. We had a friend visiting from out of town and I wanted to go to a Raleigh staple.

In came Irregardless, a classic diner style restaurant with an eclectic menu.

We were in for a treat as they had their brunch items on the menu. Chicken and waffles are amazing, arguably the best friend chicken in Raleigh.

The menu is known for having plenty of good vegan options as well.

Service is great, they definitely make you feel at home.

We will continue to go back.

We had a work lunch here for 6 on a Friday in November. We had a reservation and were seated right away. The service was prompt and friendly. The menu was small in variety but very high quality. I had the salmon, which was very tasty in a white sauce; however, the portion was small for the price. I thought I would have gotten a side or salad to go with it but otherwise enjoyed the food. The atmosphere is comfortable inside, and I found parking close by pretty easily.

There aren't enough stars for the ubiquitous flavors contained in this Veggie Platter. This place absolutely nailed what they do. I had the Falafel, Tabouli, Baba Ganoush, Grape Leaves. Very friendly place with a great selection of vegan sandwiches. A plate is affordable and more than enough to get you filled. At least it was in my case. I had a BBQ sandwich that I uploaded a photo about. The double espresso wasn't too strong and oily. I sat in around 8 a.m. and by 9 the place was almost full already. Many of the guests seemed regular, the guy behind the bar seemed to know many of them, which gave the whole place a homely vibe. The decoration is cool, retro, artsy and kind of international. Good experience all together.

This is a great grab and go spot for when you're in the mood for something other than the typical fast food fare.

I order the falafel sandwich. It's way more than I expected, loaded falafel that's crispy on the outside and toothsome on the inside, tomatoes, tahini, pickles and lettuce. My only complaint is it came with only three pieces of falafel.

My wife ordered the lamb gyro. It's modest for the price, but certainly not small. The meat was flavorful not just salty. The vegetables were fresh and the tzatziki was great.

The menu is varied enough that everyone in your group can find something to order. Seating inside is non-existent, just a small bar, so be prepared.
This breakfast spot has breakfast anytime! It's very colorful inside with nice wall paintings and decor. I love breakfast for dinner. I love that the biscuits were on the house. They came with this sweet and savory sauce. I ordered the cheesy fritters and they were very cheesy and fresh. Delicious!! Our server was very friendly and amazing.

A positive, relaxed atmosphere that is easy to enjoy. Nothing flashy or fancy but fresh food and rotating farm to table offerings. Love the touch of live music. We came early with a reservation and had a really excellent waitress. Two out of three cocktails were excellent and the chopped steak was definitely the highlight as well. It’s vegan friendly and a good option if you’re looking to eat healthy and check out a tucked away piece of downtown Raleigh.

We have been coming to Irregardless since 2017 and over the years the food has never disappointed. We have mostly been here for the weekend brunches. And oh man, that can get really crowded. You always want to be there when it opens. Recently we tried their lunch for the first time and that was great too. The menu is inclusive and there is something for everyone. The interiors are casual and laid back and I have always remembered the staff to be nice and courteous. Special mention to their waffles which was delicious according to my 3 year old! I tried the open face sandwich from their lunch menu which was so good, that I tried to replicate it at home. Their garden frittata has been another favorite. We are yet to try their dinner menu, so that's surely on the list.

Fun, unique atmosphere with a lot of options for those with special dietary needs. We loved the fried green tomatoes with a creamy chipotle sauce. We also tried the grilled peach salad with a yummy shallot vinaigrette dressing. Wish a roll or something came with it, as that was my entree. The chopped steak and mashed potatoes was delicious. Again, could have used maybe a side of vegetables, even if it raised the price. We will definitely return.

It’s been a while since I’ve been here and I’m glad I was finally able to get a reservation. Absolutely love the vibe inside. The staff is very accommodating and friendly, and the food superb 🤌🏽! We started with the Lion’s Mane Rangoons and Spring Rolls. Both were done well and had really flavorful sauces that accompanied them. For main course we got the Peanut Noodles & the Risotto. The noodles were 🔥🔥🔥!! (Make sure you add the fried tofu). The risotto was cooked perfect and the added crab cake completed the dish. For dessert we had the blueberry dulce de leche cake and it didn’t disappoint. If you want to try an amazing restaurant with an amazingly creative chef, Fiction Kitchen will not disappoint.

My sister and I stumbled upon this little gem on Memorial Day, the aroma and witty sign pulled us right in. Plenty of vegan or vegetarian options. The owner manned the counter and boy was he a hoot, definitely in his element. The food was fresh and quick. I had a vegan sandwich that was by my surprise served with a cold bean salad and couscous. Filling and priced well for the area.

The Fiction Kitchen is too good! We ordered the vegan mozzarella sticks to share and I got the Impossible Meatloaf which was fantastic. The vegan Chicken and Waffles were also delicious. I really appreciate that they offer fun, non-alcoholic drinks here (I highly recommend the house made spicy ginger soda). The place is super eclectic, and I’ve heard they’re so popular that they’re relocating to a new spot in Raleigh soon! If you’re looking to come to the Fiction Kitchen, it helps to make a reservation as the table and bar fill up pretty quickly.

This is a small fast food place. There is no indoor dining, there are tables and chairs outside where you can eat.
I ordered a lamb gyro and fries.
The gyro was okay nothing special about it. They didn't put peppers on mine like I ordered.
The fries were cooked on point. Fried on the outside and nice and soft inside. I added seasoning salt to mine.
Service was fast.
Prices were reasonable for area.
I probably won't eat there again. Not with all the other food options around. For five dollars more you can go to a sit down restaurant and get better food.

I've been here a few times throughout the years, prior to Covid, and was not impressed. However, some friends really wanted to try it and told me the menu was completely different.

I'm very happy that we did, because it was delicious!

Every dish was had was wonderful. The whole place is completely vegan now, which is great for my vegan friend, and even good food myself, as a vegetarian. And most of the menu is gluten free, or has a gluten free option. Which is awesome for me since I have Celiac Disease.

If you haven't checked them out since they changed the menu, I would suggest trying the Rainbow Smoked Potatoes, Cormeal- Fried Mushrooms and the Lettuce Wraps. They're all killer!!

We came back to their new location and were thrilled with how much larger this location is. However, the food was a bit disappointing this time. While the Black Bean Dip was delicious, it was really tyke only thing that was. The Curry and the Meatloaf both really lacked flavor, and the former wasn't really even that appealing to look at. Hoping this is just a growing pain, but not a huge fan of the inconsistencies.

I’ve been eating there for the past 9 years and the test never changed or downgraded at all ,delicious meals I’ve tried the whole menu lol .
Let me just say that the chickpea & butternut squash salad was PHENOMENAL. So flavorful and hearty. I enjoyed the 2 skewer platter. Grilled chicken and steak. The orzo salad was also super flavorful and delicious. The restaurant is inviting and clean. Friendly staff and there is a market and bakery. Will definitely be back regularly.

Great quality food and perfect coffee spot.
Highly recommend their tasting platter - definitely enough to feed 2 people. Latte is amazing . They decorated the place very stylish with old school vintage stuff. Prices are fairly reasonable and service is quick. Cool place

After visiting the Saturday Farmer’s Market in Raleigh, we found this great cafe in downtown Raleigh! Perfect find for vegans, vegetarians, coffee lovers and those that like conversation. The French owner was a delight and full of personality. We sat outside and enjoyed people watching, especially after the Presidential Election! Parking was free on the weekends

Worst Chicken Sandwich and Fries. It looks good but not in taste. If you really looking to have Mediterranean taste of food, Please don’t try it. Don’t go for its name!

I enjoy fast ethnic places. This is a small grab and go restaurant. It is Mediterranean style food so gyros, tabouli, hummus baba ganoush and kabobs.

The flavors are spot on for mild Mediterranean food in my opinion. The lamb was mild, chick was white meat and beef we well seasoned.

I read a few reviews about the meat being dry. I was happy with the beef and lamb but the chicken was a bit dry. It was not so dry that I need to drink after every bit and the sauces and sides can easily help with any dryness.

I was pleased with the size of portions, it felt about right for the price. Might feel a bit high since it is a grab and go and not a sit down, but I highly suggest it to anyone.

Also you can buy the sides by the pound. Could be a great idea for a side dish at home, party or office.

Note: not all meals were pictured as an fyi.

Every time I have been to this place the quality and the service were the same. All the cooking utensils are clean and the person using them (I'm guessing is the owner) keeps everything in order. The food is good, service was quick. The only observation I have, same as what another person has said, they're using styrofoam boxes (see picture) which could be avoided.
