I have had trigeminal neurologia for three years . Dr. Wilson was very kind, thorough and explained my condition ! Provided great guidance on how to manage my symptoms with the meds I am taking! He explained to me how to contact him immediately if my symptoms return. I was very impressed with him and highly recommend him.

Unfortunately I was never given the chance to meet with Dr. Scott Wilson. We talked on the phone once for about 15 minutes, and then for the following several months I completed a daily questionnaire. I called his office multiple times over those months to find out when my appointment would be with him, but there was always an excuse why he couldn’t meet with me. At this point he submitted a report to WCB stating that the causality of the accident had no connection to my symptoms, and in not so many words that it was all in my head. Every doctor that has been treating me disagreed with his finding. Even WCB disagreed with his report. Everyone helping treat me without any request by me provided me with unwavering support. They all knew the report was crap, and we’re all insulted that he could write such a report. Even the neurologist that saw me in emergency room at Foothills hospital the day of the accident could clearly see the connection which he spent quite a bit of time with me asking a lot of questions. Every other doctor and health care provider who has seen me since the accident all having different areas of expertise could clearly set the connection between the accident and on going symptoms. Even a neurologist who was hired by WCB to do an IME to see if they could offer additional treatment suggestions as my recovery had plateaued could clearly see a link between the event and my symptoms. This was a two hour long appointment, which this neurologist states clearly that there is a clear link from the accident to my continued symptoms, and recommended several great options for how to help me recover.
So let’s do the math here. Dr.Scott Wilson who spent about 15 minutes on the phone with me, or a neurologist who spent 2 hours in person with me. You do the math.
What am I able to discern out of this is that Dr. Wilson never intended to see me, and was more than willing to smear me with his sorry excuse for a report. Dr. Wilson was unprofessional, displayed zero compassion for what I am dealing with, and my ongoing symptoms
It is now over a year since the accident. My persistent symptoms have changed my life. I still cannot participate in any sports that I enjoy, as physical activity aggravates my condition. Even taking the dog for a walk can be challenging some days.
There can be only one of two reasons to explain Dr. Wilson’s conduct:
1. He never had an intention of ever seeing me.
2. To start he may have planned to see me early on, but decided I was not worth his time.
Both of these possibilities are unethical, and a disservice to all doctors and health professionals.

This doctor only did part of the exam he was supposed to do .Then tried to gaslight me . I will gladly tell anyone who asks me about my experience. DO NOT GO TO THIS FRAUDULENT DOCTOR!! WCB PAID CROOK!

The staff here never answers the phone or returns messages, trying to speak live with someone or needing to schedule a follow up is a nightmare.

After reading the negative reviews, I was very nervous and apprehensive to go for my consultation with Dr Scott Wilson. However, I am so glad I did. From the moment I walked into the office, I was met with a friendly receptionist. Dr. Scott Wilson and his nurse, Joanne, are sympathetic, empathetic and compassionate. But more importantly than their bedside manners, is that they are knowledgeable, informative and professional.
I have suffered from migraine headaches for decades and dystonia from an early age, all intensified and exasperated by a recent car accident. I was resolved that I must live in pain for the rest of my life. After just one treatment, I felt immediate relief.
If I was to describe my experience with Dr Wilson in one word, it would be “miracle”. Pay no attention to the negative reviews, but do yourself a favour and book an appointment.
Thank you very much to you and your team.

Staff and staff pleasant and knowledgeable. My Dr. seems to always be running 15 mins late but I find she spends the time needed for the patient. Grateful patient. DM

Dr. Rosenegger is absolutely useless. Regardless of her patient's medical condition, Dr. Rosenegger insists on giving Botox treatment. I guess Botox treatment is a gold mine for her because patients will need to come back to see her once every three months for lifetime.

I suffer from severe chronic neuropathic pain including severe migraines due to a vision disorder. All levels of staff are incredible. They have helped me immensely. I feel cared for and important. I am so very thankful for ANC.

Evelyn on the phone lines for Alberta Neurological Centre was extremely rude.
My appointment was not confirmed, which I thought it was. I called to confirm it and asked if she would be able to help me out with that.
She outwardly said I had attitude. Extremely unprofessional. Hopefully the other staff there will be better

Grateful to have found this place. They've gone above and beyond to help me. Thank you to everyone here especially, Stephanie, Dana and the neurologists! The facility is spectacular as well and the quality of service from reception is excellent. Thank you so much!

He didn't even address the problem! He said, "I don't know what that is."
He did say he wanted to increase the dose of Pregabilin I am on though. Without a nerve conductivity study. This increase will cause dizy spells while driving...
I'm convinced he didn't give a damn at all... and all he wanted to do was cause a bigger problem
What right doesn't ant doctor have to increase a medication dose WITHOUT tests being done first? NONE... this makes it worse than the opioid experiment...
I WANT A SECOND OPINION FROM A DIFFERENT OFFICE... THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE...

I had worsening symptoms and after 5 month my family doctor referred me there.
For 3 weeks they haven't looked at my case. After calling them everyday, they said one year and half wait time.
I had a copy of my family doctor referral, she clearly stated that my situation is worsening and I can't even go to work. They apparently didn't even read it.
I asked for the urgent note of my family doctor, again they didn't read the URGENT NOTE for two weeks and I kept calling them.
Finally they got me and gave me an appointment in two weeks later.
I had lots of mental pressure on the period they told me one year and half. Dude did you really read the note?
Then why it took you two weeks to read the URGENT NOTE.
I went to doctor and she was so nice and my case was not neurologist and they send me to someone else.
Please be more dedicated reading the cases. Doctor was great, but the triage nurses apparently awful.
I would give the doctor 5 star and the triage staff 0.

It was recommended to me by my GP, Rheumatologist, Internal medicine doctor and naturopath I go to a neurologist…
In August I saw Dr. Rosenegger. My experience with her was a waste of time.
She was nearly 25 minutes late. She mentioned that there was a student in her office just listening in, no choice was given to me on whether or not I was comfortable with a student participating in my appointment. It also seemed as though she skimmed my medical file 5 minutes prior to seeing me. She suggested I put toxins in my body because she believed I have a “Migraine Phenomenon” when I am currently also dealing with Lyme Disease (tested with a lyme disease canada approved lab) however she is biased toward AHS.
Needless to say, her appointment was the final straw for me in regards to receiving care in any form with AHS.
I have gotten more answers from naturopathic medicine in the passed 5+ years than I have with AHS my entire life.

On the one hand, Dr Wilson doesn't rush you like many other specialists, he will listen to your story and at least will send for some testing.
However, if he believes that you fall outside his strict area of responsibility, or the test results are inconclusive (by his own admission), he offers no paths forward or even any advice on when to redo the tests, etc. So.. an initially promising but ultimately disappointing experience.

I saw a series of doctors for a 2 year condition I had before I was referred to Dr Wilson. He was able to diagnose and treat my condition quickly after our initial contact. He took the time to listen to my symptoms and find out what was really gong on. He gave me my life back and I am so grateful. His follow up and availability in my experience is excellent. I would feel confident in recommending Dr Wilson to anyone who is in need of a Neurologist in Calgary.

I had a great experience meeting Dr. Wilson for the first time today. He was very kind, attentive, thorough and helpful. His nurse was great also. I feel relieved to have some answers and feel I am in good hands with his office.
