Overall, a nice place to try Korean food before entering to the gates. I had the spicy pork soup from E, which I enjoyed. Besides the rice being a little dry, I thought it was a nice meal.

I had the a great Korean meal at this spot in the airport! The grilled mackerel was cooked to perfection and everything tasted sooo good. The service was super fast and the place had plenty of room for everyone. And get this, the prices were surprisingly cheap! I couldn't believe it since airport food is usually pricey. If you're ever craving Korean food at the airport, this place is a must-try!

One of the best airports I have ever been in! Super clean toilets and free showers, nap zones are so nice and the terminal is so modern and sleek to walk around in.

There is no more halal food inside empire food. The Nimat stall that have kind of Taj Mahal symbol sell pork in their menu

We stopped for a layover on our way to Bangkok. The Korean food court was a fun experience. To be honest, I’m really not sure what I ate — but it was good! We at the Incheon fast food #2 plate. It was about $9 a plate. All the meats were tasty, and it was fun to sit with locals and take in the atmosphere.

Just like many modern airports, Incheon is full of artificial building material. It would soften and warm up the atmosphere if the natural element is added to its space.

There are 2 locations of this food court (Our Home Food Empire) in ICN Terminal 1 4th floor. The location by gates 29/30 is extremely overcrowded during peak times and has a rude male cashier (Oct 8, 2023) who yelled at me to find a seat before ordering. Not friendly for solo/foreign travelers. This interaction makes me not want to return to South Korea.

The other location closer to gate 12 is not as crowded and had a friendlier female cashier who let me order and let me know that the wait for the Korean food was around 20 minutes. The seafood tofu stew tasted good but was a little spicy.
I wish ICN Terminal 1 had more options for hot food after security.

Im going with 2 stars instead of one cause the food was pretty good. But do not arrive at dinner time hungry!!!!! And forget it entirely if u have less than an hour till you board! The queues are a next level nightmare! And if they get your order wrong, which they will, you’re stuck with it. Also feels entirely claustrophobic in any of the dining areas. My advice, just go to Paris baguette downstairs instead

We had a connection flight in Seoul Incheon airport so we stopped by to eat some lunch.

What an eye-opening experience. Openly discriminative practice at this food court. The male cashier who was supposed to take order was rude and yelled at customers, except if you speak Korean. We were warned about the rudeness of some staff in the airport but experiencing it is a totally different story. It makes you wonder why the managememt does nothing to address their openly discriminative practice and racist attitudes. Korea was our planned future vacation destination, but now it is off the table after being treated poorly by many of them.

존맛. One of my favorite spots at the airport. Nice portions, healthy fresh food, great value for money.

Spicy beef soup accompany with 3 side dishes esp very yummy original taste of Kimchi. Give 10/10 point. Price is better than restaurant along way to gate as well.

Hot and spicy soup is a must for Koreans
They have no choice, and they do a pretty good job of imitating it.

The food here was excellent! The service was also great! The food came out piping hot the veggies were crisp and very flavorful! I will definitely come back and eat here again the next time I am in South Korea! Thank you to the staff for being so welcoming!

Amazing airport amenities and most deserved transit airport to use. All kinds of stores and so many activities to do while you wait on flights.

Excellent to stop in for a meal while waiting for your flight out of Seoul Korea. The customer service excellent and food was made quickly before flying out to Mongolia. Very good value for money.

If you have gluten allergy, you should order without soy sauce and guchujang (red chilli paste that might contain gluten).

I got vegetarian bibimbap and it was very good

One of Korean dishes bibimbap was nice and reasonably priced. There were food court & a restaurant on the 4th floor of the transition side and the restaurant was much less busy.

This place is delicious! I ordered from restaurant H - Noodle House and ordered #3 hot (temperature not spicy) buckwheat noodles with kimchi dumplings for 11,900 won. It was a huge portion and delicious! The broth on the noodles was delectable. I wasn’t feeling super well and this put me back in action.

While on transit, at the Incheon International Airport, I was able to discover some interesting food haunts inside the airport and one of them is the Food Empire.
It is setup like a food court, and inside you get to choose various options like Korean, Vietnamese or Western dishes.
And because there are several shops inside the small space, they had devised an ingenious way of completing the order - using technology, plus a clear billboard, they would then inform the patron that the order has been completed and is ready for pickup (very efficient too!)
I was able to try the big cutlet this morning, and it was worth it. The price was about 11,700 KRW or 11.7 CAD but the portion was so big that I stayed full even at lunchtime !
Their pho soup is also delicious but its not worth the price - the meat and noodles portions are not that generous.
If you feel that you want to save, they also offer free drinking water on a paper cup.

You can have Korean Jjambbong and the other Korean foods here. If you want to enjoy this food court, you have to visit before departure. It is at basement 1 of Terminal 2. The food will be prepared after you pay the bill. The food was so so. I can feel the breath of the wok. You can get drinking water as well. Enjoy.

Everytime I depart from Korea I eat Chjajang myun(black bean sauce noodle) from Kydong Chjamppong. I also ordered Tangsuyuk( sweet and sour pork) this time. Chjajangmyun was still good but Tangsuyuk was so so. Thus is a good place to eat last minute Korean food. 😋

Options were a bit limited when I went in July 2021. However, I was grateful to have some Korean food and drinks while on my layover. The kimchis on the side were great. The soup was also very good but the mussel felt a little hairy. I feel that places I have gone to in the past were a bit better at removing this. Be careful of the hours too. Not sure what the situation will be like in the future but they did close for the night a bit after I left when I visited.

Have one halal restaurant inside food court empire is kervan kebab near gate 118 at terminal 1 incheon international airport... the taste so good and the big portion... the price i eat around rm200+++ for all this menu ( quickly expensive ) , but what you expect when eat at airport.. .hihi....

Great spicy beef soup. Quick service and big servings. I was surprised with the size of my pork cutlet kimchi roll. Good quality food at the airport
