I do agree about the staff not friendly at all and when you ask questions they have an attitude like there not getting paid to answer questions. Don't trust anyone in this place That's why we go as much as possible to make sure they are doing there job! It is terrible the way they treat ppl but god sees all and they will get old and need help as well!!!!!!

PARK TERRACE DEATH CENTER IS THE WORST. The rehabilitation department is excellent. THE NURSING DEPARTMENT AND THE TRAUAMATIC BRAIN INJURY DEPARTMENT ALL NEED TO BE IN JAIL. They left my son for dead. He arrived there with a small bedsore. I had to rush him to ER a month later due to the NOW THE HUMONGOUS BEDSORE THAT THEY REFUSED TO ATTEND TO. THEY PURPOSELY DID NOT ATTEND TO HIM. We took weekly and monthly pictures of his wound. Thank God we did so.. Dana Brown Jr did not deserve that neglect. The worst Center ever it should be shutdown.
DO NOT SEND YOUR FAMILY THERE

I recently had the privilege of receiving care at Rego Park health care on the third floor and I must say my experience exceeded all expectations. From the moment I walked through the doors, I was greeted with warmth and professionalism, setting the tone for the exceptional care that followed. I want to thank the staff on the 7-3 shift Ms.Bogle, Ms. Matadin, Ms. Whyne, Ms.Chantel, Ms.Rose, Nurse Winford, Nurse Christine, Supervisor Ray and Ms. Nicky 3-11 shift. Thank you for the amazing care provided.

Very nice facility! My aunt really liked the activities and the care when she was there for a few weeks last year.

Rachel is a wonderful and personable individual who works at the center. She is a pleasure to work with. Rego Park is lucky to work with such a special and devoted individual. Rachel cares about all of her patients and insures that all requests and patient needs are met. Highly recommended!

Wonderful and caring staff. Both my parents spent over a month there. They received lots of physical therapy and were well taken care care of during their stay.

To start off I want to say that this place is just interested in getting paid by the patient’s insurance since there’s no effort in investing for food or even staff, I’ve seen patients and even my mother asking for help to change their adult diapers for about half hour so just imagine laying in your feces and nurses walking in and out without a response from them. prisioners have better meals than these poor patients with no options or family, when put into this place, there’s no guarantee that you will come out soon or even mentally well. I think the fact that the patients try to leave almost every day on their own kinda says a lot about the environment they’re trying to get out of.I was able to take my mother out in time before her insurance had approved for another month of treatment that was sneakily and without letting us know, submitted to the insurance on behalf of this facility on the same day my mother was released. When we asked the higher staff or superiors, no one had an idea of what was going to be done with our case, they had us back and forth letting the days pass by asking for a “doctors note” despite us having one and the doctors number so that they could communicate with him but they never did, the whole thing was a mess just how the system in this place is. The social worker in charged of her release and medicine said to have had everything under control even though she had no idea what was going on and that probably explains why my mothers medicine was never sent another reason why she wasn’t let go was because they had to first find a nurse to send to our home and treat her..well the order for the nurse was never submitted. So now we have to rely on my aunt who was given one short demonstration on how to do it and my mother was let go shortly after my brother had to abruptly demand they let her go. She is a diabetic woman with bad anxiety and asthma who was rapidly going insane being stuck inside here so if that month that was submitted by the home care was accepted and my mother had to stay longer, she would if most definitely had some sort of attack and died in here. To sum it all up, don’t leave your loved ones here unless you truly hate them or even look for support In this facility as it just seems like they want to keep patients longer with no accurate answer as to why just for the insurance money. There needs to be some serious investigation going on in here ASAP!

My father in the time he has been here has been left for hours soiled and the nurses show 0 care nor compassion. Everything to them seems like a burden and a chore. As if they're doing favors and this isn't their job. From changing remote batteries to pampers. It's whenever they feel like it or can get another person to do it. Getting a hold of the nurses; impossible. No one is in control clearly and unless you're present for your loved ones, you're sending them here to die. I'm wishing everyday I can get my father out of here.
Any of the "good reviews" has to be majority staff trying to cover up their tracks because everytime I go everyone looks miserable, staff and patients included.

Both my mom and dad spent some time in this facility and both had a positive experience. My dad got much needed physical therapy and got so much better. My mom went there to recover post hip surgery and was very well taken care off. Nurturing and well trained staff, organized and caring social workers, great admissions staff that helped me a lot in these trying times.

It's difficult to share in enough detail just how amazing Rego Park Health Care has been in navigating care for my family. To not say too much, I can say that as a family member trying to coordinate sub acute rehab, they were super helpful from even before admission. They are incredibly kind, and you can tell they really care about the residents. They also have a great amount of knowledge in navigating the complicated system of healthcare, insurance, Medicaid etc, which was great since it was something we didn't know about and had to navigate for the first time ourselves.
Overall, when you're going through a situation that requires a place like this, you want Rego Park Healthcare on your side to help you. I'm really grateful.

I am a staff member at Rego Park, and what I love most about working here is that everyone works as a team with the same goal to rehabilitate and keep our residents safe. Our caring therapist are goal oriented and very skilled in working with a plethora of clientele.

My husband left AMA because he had to be in there for physical therapy due a car accident because they placed him with mentally ill people that he can't defend himself unable to walk and call staff when he complained he was told if you dont like it you can leave. Can you imagine in pain unable to sleep and taking for ever to the nurse give you a pain pill. Don't take your loves ones here.

Appalling conditions and staff lack care for patients. If you care for your loved ones, DO NOT send them here! Massive break down in communication among staff and family. You don't want to discover whether my experience is correct or not.

This is truly the worst place in NYC to send your love ones for care. Prisoners in jail have received better treatment. If you truly value your loved ones peace of mind don’t send them to this place.
I cannot show a photo of the long term damages this place has done. Too heart breaking and disturbing.

My father was admitted to Park Terrace Care Center for rehab. As a family member, I needed to make sure that my father stayed as comfortable as possible throughout the time he was there; and I was very delighted with the service they provided. If I had any questions or concerns, I could find staff from either the administration or medication team to help me at all times. I was very pleased with the support they gave to my father as a patient and me as a family member.

Park Terrace is a nursing home with a low standard of care. We were there for less than one month, and in this period, at-least 3times nurses brought wrong medications; if I didn't realize it, no one understood. Also, they brought dirty linen sheets(photo) several times and left patients unclean for hours, which cause serious skin barrier. They charge your insurance every week for visiting doctors while patients are not visited by doctors unless family request it. This place is promoted as a Brain Traumatic Injury rehabilitation with 3 hours of therapy per day that can prepare patients for coming back to the community, which is ultimately far from reality. In each session, therapists barely work with patients for more than a few minutes, and most of the time, they are just sitting in the gym. I definitely not recommend this place to anyone.
