I cannot express enough thanks to this beautiful community. The incredible caring staff at all levels , the cleanliness of this community ,the quality of food specially prepared by Chef George gave special attention to those with needed memory care. My uncle lived very happily here, giving our family peace so for that I cannot give enough thanks to Kathleen and her staff!

I am so happy! We looked long and hard for the right place for my mom who has dementia. Artis is it! The place is warm, lovely, clean, cheerful and very welcoming. Even the food is good. Best of all, the staff is pleasant, patient and helpful. Thank you Artis!

Artis Senior Living of Commack is a beautiful community supporting those with Memory Loss. I love the set up of neighborhoods with front doors, beautiful kitchens and living rooms that families can enjoy with their loved one. The staff is amazing! Chef George's food is out of this world and he will also accommodate picky eaters too. The staff is warm and welcoming and really take care such good care of the residents. You feel like HOME when you are at Artis.

My grandmother recently moved into Artis and we have been blown away by the level of care and compassion she has experienced during the transition. From my first meeting with Joanne, after touring many other assisted living communities, it was apparent that Artis was different. They understand dementia in all its many forms and truly care about their residents, helping to ensure they continue to live full lives. Every day, residents benefit from many enrichment activities and even go on regular outings (my grandma especially loves the trips which have included a visit to a local farm, museum and an evening show). If you’re considering memory care options, Artis should be on the top of your list–they truly are phenomenal.

I been working working with artis almost 3 years Is one the best environment that I ever work I am the director culinary service I take personal care pleasing our residents asking what they like to eat or what is their favorite drinks . Every Friday we get prepare some appetizers for happy hours and daily they get healthy snacks and what make me happy that artis is unique because our residents are like their own home they can walk or eat any of our 4 Dinning rooms that we have it they have so much freedom

Artis Senior Living of Commack is a great place to work. I am the concierge and have been here since the building opened. All the staff is very caring and are always making sure all the residents are being taken care of. All the staff help each other out wherever they are needed. Housekeeping always make sure everything is always clean. Artis is a great place to work

Artis has been a godsend to my sister and I. They are the most compassionate and caring facility, engaging the residents in everything from arts and crafts to days out, having lunch at different restaurants, taking them to a production of Elf. The staff are the most professional and amazing caregivers. I could not be more happy with the decision my sister and by selecting Artis for our Mom, they show so much kindness to their residents and to their families. If I could give them ten stars I would. I LOVE Artis, their directors, nursing staff, caregivers and enrichment staff. If you have a family member who requires Memory Care, I would not hesitate one second to recommend Artis of Commack.

From day one, Artis Senior Living of Commack has been a great experience for my mom who is 97. She is engaged, well taken care of, and has made friends. She is no longer isolated. The staff and facilities are wonderful. The difference Artis has made in her life and our life is amazing. While the whole staff is amazing, Sophie has been incredible getting my mother to join in activities and make friends. Sophie has a great rapport with every resident.
