My mom wa admitted to thus nursing home for her rehabilitation after she fractured her pelvis. I especially wanted her to be in this place because of other people who loved ones were there for short or long term. Only good things every one was saying about this nursing facility. I was determined my mom be admitted to F.H. rehabilitation center. In little over 6 weeks she was discharged with huge improvement in her overall health. She was always highly speaking about PT specialists and care workers as well management and nursing services. Everyone there friendly professional and caring. I hope my family members or me would never need such facility and continue to stay well and healthy but if anyone needs rehabilitation or nursing care I would only go with F.H. rehabilitation center. Many thanks ❤️ to all workers and volunteers 🙋♂️ 👍. You are all great people with big hearts and pride of your profession.

After a debilitating fall, my grandfather was taken to and cared for at Forest View Center. The therapy staff at the center have been nothing short of amazing. Beyond basic care, they have worked tirelessly to help my grandfather make progress. Laura, from SLP services, Adam at PT, and Jessica from OT are compassionate and caring professionals who contributed tremendously to my grandfather's improvement.

I highly recommend Dr. Laura Accari, an incredible specialist in teaching a new methodology to deal with Parkinson’s. I faithfully do the homework every night and have five sessions a week. My family and friends have noticed a great change in my voice as it has improved immensly. Dr. Laura exhibits great energy and discipline and provides her patience with a special understanding of the intricacies of the speech process, particularly for Parkinson’s’ patients. I have lost my voice in the past and have had speech teachers off and on throughout the years, but Dr. Laura is BY FAR the very best. I committed to a lifestyle change by doing these exercises every day and feel much more confident and empowered because of her great work.

My grandmother was cared for at the facility. The staff was attentive and the rehab was great. Laura Accardi SLP took her time treating and addressing my grandmother concerns. My grandmother was able to progress from puree to regular diet after stroke and return home well.

Hope this review is not too late but just realized again today our family has been and will stay very thankful for Forest View’s care to my mother-in-law last year.
She had a hip replacement surgery and then spent six weeks here for rehab from April to May of year 2023. She couldn’t move at first and doesn’t speak English so she was very distressed at the beginning. But Forest View provided all the right medical care, well-thought physical therapy, patient daily nursing care, which helped her change from nearly disabled condition to be able to walk again (slowly with cart) in 6 weeks! All the people there, from admin to doctors to nurses to nurse aides to physical therapists, were very skilled and also friendly and supportive and patient. And they tried their best to communicate with either vocal translation tool or call us for three-way discussion. The facility is overall very clean and organized, and physical therapy room has lots of options. And last but not least, they arranged all the home care processes before discharge, which greatly reduced the hassle for the patient and our family.
My mother-in-law is now back to normal and can walk almost as well as before, with a little help from a cane. Thanks very much again!!!

Laura Accardi is really a phenomenal speech therapist! She was amazing with my grandmother, thank G-D! She really helped my grandmother with her swallowing to the extent that my grandmother doesn't need a feeding tube anymore b"H! She's also so caring and pleasant to work with!

Im writing this review on behalf of my grandmother who is not so tech savvy. I highly recommend Laura Accardi as a professional speech therapist. With her guidance, I've seen remarkable improvements in my grandmother’s communication skills that she’s even able to pass onto her great grandson, my toddler son, when she babysits him. From what my grandmother tells me, she creates a supportive and comfortable environment, making each session productive and enjoyable. I’ve seen that she takes a personalized approach to ensure my grandmother receives the attention and care she needs. Overall, Laura is an exceptional therapist who genuinely cares about her clients' progress and well-being. Thank you Laura! ❤️

Great place, great staff. They really cater to your needs. I had a very pleasant experience with Enandra, the Director of social services.

This facility is very nice and clean. The staff is friendly and always available for questions. Judy is so professional and kind. This is a small facility which gives it a home like feel. My aunt loved it there and she was able to improve through their therapy program. I would highly recommend this place !

Nothing but great service at Forest Hills Care Center. The staff was very kind and attentive ti my fathers needs. Extremely happy with their great services and outstanding care for my dads needs.

My grandmother spent the last two months of her life here. I visited her here several times before she passed. Most of the time, this place was heavily understaffed and most of the staff that was here had no clue what they were doing. The only reason I'm giving 2 stars is because there were a couple of staff members who went above and beyond (unfortunately, I don't remember their names) to make my grandmother comfortable. While this place isn't the absolute worst possible option, there are better options out there.

This is a long over due review
My name is Matthew, and my father Rick suffered a massive left-sided stroke at the young age of 70. After facing rejection from multiple rehabilitation centers, Forest View Rehabilitation Center became a beacon of hope for us. My father had lost complete usage of his right side and the ability to speak, making his journey to recovery a challenging one. He spent a tough 8 months on the first floor of this facility.
I want to express my heartfelt gratitude to Cece, the head nurse, and her incredible team on the first floor. Their dedication and compassion towards my father were unwavering. They not only attended to his physical needs but also provided emotional support for both my father and our family. Their regular updates kept us informed and reassured.
A special thanks goes to Laura Accari, our speech-language pathologist, who worked tirelessly with my father to help him regain his ability to communicate. Her patience and expertise were instrumental in his progress.
I also want to extend my appreciation to Deepali and her team in the physical therapy department. Their commitment to my father's rehabilitation was truly remarkable. The progress he made under their care was inspiring.
Gordon Shaw, the assistant director, played a pivotal role in coordinating my father's care and ensuring that he received the best possible treatment.
Lastly, a big thank you to the admissions department and the social workers who provided invaluable support during our journey.
Forest View Rehabilitation Center is more than just a facility; it's a place where miracles happen, and where dedicated professionals like Cece, Laura, Deepali, Gordon, and many others work tirelessly to give patients a chance at a better life. My family and I are forever grateful for the care and support we received during this challenging time. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

I have only good things to say about Forest Hills Care Center! My loved one was there for approximately 1 month and she received the most professional services beginning with the Admissions Director, Social Services and Nursing! All of the staff were very kind and caring! The place is kept clean and I love the mirror shine to the floors. I will highly recommend this rehab to others!

Dear Forest hills center administration
The facility is grossly inadequate. I am alarmed at placement of family member in such a decrepit, incompetently managed environment with appalling customer service and inept staff. I explicitly requested the best rehab facility available, a description that is woefully inapplicable to this establishment. It falls disgracefully below our standards, and I am deeply disturbed and questioning whether my mother’s well being was being taken care of.

What a great home that knows how to treat their residents in the with top-level care and dedication. Staff is wonderful and you are always greeted with a smile and warmth that is uncommon in NYC. Very grateful to the wonderful people dedicated to making this home a true gem in Queens, NY for skilled nursing services. As an added plus, food is very good here too!

I truly felt the nurses were caring and supportive. They tended to my needs as well as caring for the other residents. The place was well kept. The aides were also very attentive to their patients. In particular is a Ms. Tate of evening shift and the nurses aide Sandra, both of which made me feel comfortable in my stay at FHCC. Thank you
