We stayed in a nearby hotel and looked for a place to eat breakfast. This small Cafe was great. A very warm and welcoming place staff was amazing and the food was great also. We took a table by the window so we could see everybody coming and going on the street but if you want there are no places inside for a more intimate experience. Terrific way to start the day in Rome.

I think this is one of the best, most innovative cocktail bars in Rome! The mixologist, Tommaso, creates the most inventive, interesting cocktails! I loved the Chocolate Crystal, the Espresso Martini,the Cinnamon Drop, and most of all the Red Spritz and the Spritz with prosecco and raspberry liqueur! Have not tried the food yet, however. When Tommaso learned that my husband couldn’t decide on a drink, he “created” a flight of cocktails for him! Love the atmosphere inside and the music too. Will return as soon as we make our next trip to Rome.

Waiters are very rude here. We booked a place for 5 but the 3 of us had a problem and couldn't join. They started complain about it and asked us to pay the place for the other 3. It's a shame because the locatiom is nice.

I came here as a last minute idea with my girlfriend on a Sunday night, and needless to say from the moment we walked through the door I could tell our experience would be worth it. We were immediately greeted by staff who explained the process of ordering drinks/obtaining membership, deals that were available for us (we took the 2 drinks and free membership for 35€ deal), as well as serving us water and popcorn. After we had settled into our seats, our personal waitress Francesca approached us and guided us through the drink menu, giving us insight to the drinks we may or may not like. She was excellent and very hospitable, giving her undivided attention to making sure what we ordered was exactly what we wanted. You could tell she is passionate about ensuring a positive experience for everyone she speaks to. I ordered the special of the week, which was a whiskey and coffee based drink that came in a cute motorcycle display, and for my second drink I had the Mezcolado. The flavors in these two drinks were amazing, and crafted perfectly for my taste. I have been to numerous cocktail lounges and this is by far one of my favorites. The next time I am in Rome I will be sure to stop by again.

We enjoyed our apertivo (negronis and appetizers), all the activity on Piazza di Pietra (kids trying to catch aerial toys), and the nightly show projected on Tempio di Adriano (Temple of Hadrian).

A small place in one of the most charming squares in Rome, especially in the evening, right in front of the Temple of Hadrian.

Despite the beauty of the spot, you generally find fewer tourists than you see in the surrounding areas.

In my opinion, this is the best place for having an aperitif or a post-dinner drink in the center of Rome, feeling in a truly unique location.

They offer a wide selection of drinks and a cozy interior, which I would recommend only if it's cold or if the outdoor tables are all taken. That's why I suggest making a reservation and not missing out on the atmosphere of the square.

Traditional speakeasy with true hidden entrance and password which I loved. Kind of on the small side, but drinks were tasty and service was good. They were very inviting and kind. We especially enjoyed ourselves because it happened to be International Women’s Day (8 March) and the vibe was dope because the patrons ended up being all women. It felt like the ultimate girls club!

I visited as a solo diner, but I still received lots of attention from the staff and was seated at a table, not the bar, which was nice.

It being a Friday evening, I had expected more of a crowd, but it was quite calm (I went from 20.30 to about 22.00), not sure if that is normal for this restaurant or not.

Two very attentive and friendly waiters got me seated and took my orders for the Mango Crush mocktail, a tuna tartare and the linguine with amberjack (bottarga)

The mocktail was quite good, though I noted more of a ginger flavor than a mango flavor. When I enquired about it, I was assured it was the mango mocktail alright, so it might just be that the spice used in it had some strong ginger notes. It was very tasty nonetheless! 9/10

The tuna tartare was heavenly and I recommend it to everyone who visits. The umami of the tuna was complemented perfectly with the sweet and sour notes of the strawberry and balsamico. The basil gave the whole a touch of freshness. And the portion size was really good for the low price! Overall a wonderful dish, 10/10

My main course, the primi linguine with amberjack, was a bit disappointing. I had never tried amberjack before, and the fish by itself was lovely. I could taste the notes of citrus zest. However the dish had a fine dusting of dried mullet roe, which offset the taste of the pasta and the fish and had quite an overpowering smell. To me, it was too strong of an additive to the meal to complement it right. The linguine themselves were good, albeit a bit hard? Can't say if that was meant to be the case as it was another first time having noodles of that thickness, so that might be on me. My only reference was ramen and it's definitely chewier and harder than ramen. The portion of pasta was good, though some more fish would've been nice too. 6/10

The drink I ordered arrived nice and fast, and I only had to wait about a quarter of an hour for my first dish, the tuna tartare, to come out from the kitchen. When it was time for the pasta, however, the wrong dish was initially brought out, spaghetti with clam. I immediately let them know it was not what they ordered, which the waiter contested. (I know I'd never voluntarily order clam, though xD).

After clarifying my order again, they brought the spaghetti back to the kitchen to put my new order through. Because of the mishap it eventually took until 21.30 ish for the pasta to get back to me. The waiters during this time kept assuring me it was on its way and being made, so I knew I wasn't being forgotten, which was nice.

The ambiance in the restaurant was good. Like I mentioned it was calm and quiet regarding the crowd, and there was English music playing. The decor in the restaurant is nice as well and it was clean and well-kept. While I sat, a group of locals came in to dine as well, which confirms what other reviews say about this not just being a tourist trap!

My total came down to just under 40 euros, but with a tip I brought it up to 45, so a very reasonable price for these meals!

Overall a lovely experience, and I really recommend visiting!

Really good food and a good price. There's a bar and restaurant and we had dinner there late around 22:30. The atmosphere was good and not too busy. The gnocchi was out of this world and so was the skirt steak. Cocktails were good and the mocktails if you don't drink. Well worth a look if you want some good food at a reasonable price.

We had so much fun here. The staff were so lovely and the atmosphere was brilliant. Really recommend, bring hats and scarfs of course. Definitely one of our favorite nights out in Rome!

Great pancakes and bacon but I felt like something was missing. Some extras or a little side dish would make the dish perfect. Staff was very accommodating and nice. Very cosy atmosphere!

Worst club I have been too. Had people throwing ice at my friends and me multiple times to the point where I couldn’t see and was in pain. Told the bouncers and also translated this to ensure it wasn’t lost in translation and they responded with ‘too bad’. Honestly, so disgusting, considering I was in pain and crying from having ice thrown in my eyes. I also had a very normal and nice conversation with the bouncers whilst entering the club and they seemed lovely - but their response clearly shows that they value money over a safe environment. Wouldn’t recommend if you want to have a fun nice night whilst actually feeling safe. Literally appalled, out of all the countries I’ve visited and clubs I’ve been to this was by far the worst.

A great place with lovely tasty coctails, little bit over priced but very enjoyable for night out coctails. They offer you with coctails a great plate of very tasty snacks. Just Great.
Second time we went for coffee, so tried cappuccino and fresh orange juice, after that order an ice coffee, just espresso with ice and what I get a simply ice coffee in a coctail glass??? And charge me 7,00 euro for a coffee?? OK that was a joke 😳.
Just give them a nice review because I enjoyed the coctails.

One of my favourite cocktail bars to ever chance upon. Artistic flair, technical drinks, and cool lounge atmosphere. Also love what the membership club stands for - so happy to be a patron and I will definitely be back the next time I'm in Rome!

Ein wunderschönes kleines feines Lokal, wir haben dort Unterschlupf während eines Gewitters gefunden und bei Cocktails in den bequemsten Sesseln unsere Zeit mit Lesen und guter Musik verbracht. Zu den Cocktails gab es Oliven und Chips kostenlos dazu, die Kellnerin war aufmerksam und humorvoll, der Service insgesamt sehr gut. Die Preise sind zwar etwas höher, dafür bekommt man aber auch was.

I had a wonderful time! Bouncers and staff were pleasant, professional and courteous. The space was well-designed and well-managed, there being two dance-floors with separate DJs as well as multiple table areas that were protected from the mayhem (but still in the mix). The cover was €15, which included a complimentary drink.

I showed up at 11PM on a Saturday night, and within half an hour the place got cooking. By 12:30, the place was in full swing, and the venue hit near-full capacity by maybe 1:30.

Great spot; sodas are expensive (€10 for a Sprite), but even still I definitely got my money’s-worth at this club; as a non-drinker, I’m picky about my dance-floors/DJs, and I was quite satisfied. The crowd was diverse and inclusive, with a wide age-range. Sharivari deserves its good reputation!

A wonderful experience. Very friendly staff, delicious food. Was a but unsure about the portion size of the pasta, but I struggled to finish it all. Very filling and would definitely eat here again.

It was very busy tonight but the staff were attentive and friendly. The majority of customers were locals or large groups of Italians which was reassuring. The decor is tasteful and the food was excellent. We had bruschetta and fried anchovies to start, carbonara and lamb ragout for mains with tiramisu to finish. Overall delicious not the usual tripe mass sold to tourists and at a fair price in nice surroundings. Highly recommended 👌

Really nice cocktail spot in Rome!

The venue itself is quirky; there were a lot of art on the walls. Service was superb - the staff was super helpful in helping us select our drinks. You can tell they take their work seriously and I can confirm it shows in their drinks 😉

Such a unique and fun drinking experience in Rome - and definitely needed after a hot day of walking around! I am usually good at handling the cold but after about 45 mins I was really starting to feel it. Drinks were cheap in my opinion and the staff were lovely and attentive. The ice sculptures were personalised to Rome which was great. 10/10.

The most overrated and overpriced bar I’ve been to ever. They make the bar sound like a VIP place. You ask to come in and they tell you “there’s a cover fee of 5€ per person plus you have to get a 20€ drink, are you ok with that”. Then when you go, the place is near empty, couples only, AC is North Pole cold and service is beyond slow. Only good things are that the decor is nice and drinks are good. I do not recommend.

Me and friend came to this place last night looking for a good time and even though they did have good music I was robbed towards the end of night. I was man handled by security when asked to please find my wallet which I have the videos of and as a woman and a mother I did not appreciate. I had to wait for cops and all of sudden my wallet was found and supposedly left somewhere when I never even entered the bathroom luckily my wallet had nothing and all they took 20 euros recommend for a good time but extremely shady place!! And if your a woman please be careful and don’t get too drunk not too safe!!!

The cashier scammed us for 20 euro. The entry fee for one person - 15 euro. We put on the table 40 euro (20 and 20 cash) while she talked with someone so we were waiting for her. Then she suddenly grab our money and gave us 5 euro as a change. We told her that it was 40 euro but she confidently denied it. We were really surprised by her audacity, but we came in anyway, since we had already given money. if you want to go to a club in Rome, it's better to go to another one, because here the workers cheat tourists in a very stupid way. The cocktails that were included in the price tasted terrible. in the end we spent 60 euros for two, but should have 30. terrible management and terrible woman as a cashier. Absolutely not recommended👎🏻

Nice coffee and pastries, but check the price before buying takeaway (banco). They will try to charge you eat-in (tavolo) price. 😉

This is by far my favorite little cocktail spot in Rome. The service is always so friendly and they do a great job trying to match a drink to your preferences. I’ve been taking so many of my friends who are visiting here as it’s such a cute vibe. Prices are reasonable, especially for the type of place and cocktails they have.

I didn't eat here. Only dad some drinks. Very nice Negroni that came along with olives, crisps, peanuts and tortilla chips. Great service. The day I visited there was live music. A girl sang kind of bossa nova versions of Spanish, Italian and english songs. She was accompanied by a guitarist.

Nice place to dance but very crowded and had some creepy guy I had to leave to escape from trying to grind on me. Definitely go in a group if you are a girl. Nice that for 15 euros you at least get one drink. Also the exit is not an entrance and you have to wait to be let out, likely because of noise proofing at the exit and noise complaints from the neighborhood. Also I would say two rooms max, the third was more of a entryway with a couple of chairs.

Place was dead. And owner tried to overcharge me because I was a tourist. Lastly, he kept saying the place will get lit in a few minutes, but it never did.

They advertise free entry for girls who wear heels and are dressed nice. Not true. But the biggest issue was the fact that while we were waiting in line one guy touched my female friend’s bottom:). Security came, they banned the guy from entering but apparently just for 10 minutes since we saw them a while later in the club and they were showing us obscene signs. I didn’t feel safe at all. Also extremely expensive for no reason and they ripped off my friend who didn’t even look that he paid 42 euros for two shots. Very shady place. Music is nice though but rooms are very small and you can’t even dance because you don’t have space.

By far the best cocktail bar in Rome! When I visited Drop for the first time, I immediately felt welcomed by the bartenders and waiters. I was sitting at the bar and didn't speak Italian, so they all switched to English, even when they were just talking with each other (I assume to make me feel included). I've visited over a hundred cocktail bars around the world, but I have never felt this welcomed. Apart from the absolutely amazing drinks (specials on the menu, classics and customs), you have unlimited free ice-cold water, the music is great, and the bartenders love to have a chat with you if you're sitting at the bar. I was here for two nights in a row, and ended up talking with the bartenders basically the whole time since I was by myself.

When I left Rome to continue my journey, I genuine was so sad that I would not come back to this bar for at least a few months.

Great speak easy. Revisited after a year to have the best cocktail I’ve ever had Rey Mysterio but sadly it was removed from the menu. The only other tequila based cocktail was not good. Still lovely atmosphere!

Delicious drinks, obviously ice cold, nice staff, and the jackets were welcome. A nice respite from the heat. A nice change from the overly warm beer in Europe for us Americanos.

Best cocktail bar in Rome. Easy to miss, you have to buzz at the metal door to get in. You pay a membership fee at the door (8 euro), which lasts October to October (I think). In exchange, you’re allowed down to a basement with vibey decorations, absolutely delicious and unique cocktails, attentive unpretentious service, and the best playlist I’ve heard in Rome (think: 90s/early 2000s hip-hop and R&B, plus a smattering of modern chill electronic and beats).

Prices were the cheapest I've found in Rome, even with the cover charge. The €15 cover charge gets you a free drink (€6) so you're really only paying a €9 cover charge. They also have a few specials for cocktails plus shots so they're well worth coming in for.

The drinks are simple but fun, with a variety to suit any taste. They're also served in an ice cone protected by plastic so you don't necessarily need to have gloves. Since it's the summer it was a nice change, and we stayed for over an hour.

Great service and great atmosphere as well - the bartender had some excellent recommendations and the playlist was a bop. Even in the early evening it's a fun place to be cause there's little rooms and plenty of opportunities to take pictures. Would highly recommend!

To start I want to highlight that our experience was probably an unfortunate one, but make no mistake Barbershop is a very good bar, it just failed to meet and exceed our expectations on the night.

We were prompt on arrival at 2200 and saw the iconic barbershop light on, we took a glance into the shop and followed the sign around to another door, we rang the bell and were promptly greeted by a friendly gent who invited us in alongside another group. We were taken down some stairs that probably need repaired.... but quirky and part of the charm, we were guided into a wonderful arched room with fantastic furniture and a well stocked bar with some incredible spirits, we were also the first to arrive. It was safe to say we were very excited. We were sat in a great spot and ready to go. It was then our disappointment started. We were informed there was no menu for the night (we hope and remain confident this isn't a regular trick...), for someone who has worked his whole career in the industry this was almost a deal breaker. Part of the identity and experience of a bar is the menu available. An expression of the bar and its Bartenders. This is why we dropped one star 🌟.

The service began promptly and we were brought a prosecco/aquavit combo I assume and some water, we were then consulted about our likes and dislikes so we could have our drinks tailored, it was fairly awkward and I'm not quite sure we were listened to, which became more obvious when most of the other guests sat with almost identical drinks.. I could be wrong. As it got busier the service got slower and slower as the consultation process droned on by one staff member *due to no menu. In fairness the solo bartender was absolutely killing it, making drink after drink, which were very well balanced and crafted. Looking around a fair few people looked awkward and unimpressed. Soon smoke clogged the air as we received our 2nd cocktail at 2330. We watched 3 or 4 tables request the bill after just 1 drink, this is where I would say they dropped the 2nd Star 🌟 We soon joined them and left somewhat disappointed. The bill however was very reasonable.

We cannot knock the attempt at good service and the quality of drinks. It just wasn't their night or ours.

My main feedback is this: for a bar that lies in a tourist location, that's guaranteed to get tourists, probably relies on tourism to stay open, it didn't feel tourist friendly, just my take on it.

Don't be off put, go and experience it. If they bring out this new menu, I'm sure it'll be a much better experience. And 10 years ago I would have lit up too 😉.

Nicht as günstigste, aber was hier geboten wird ist ganz großes Kino! Service unglaublich professionell und freundlich, das Ambiente ist genial und die Drinks sind sowohl vom Geschmack aber vor allem von der Präsentation her nahe der Perfektion!
Eine absolute Empfehlung für Fans gehobener Cocktailkunst!
P.S.: Lasst euch von der unscheinbaren Tür und der Klingel am Eingang nicht abschrecken. Euch wird geöffnet und es erwartet euch eine einmalige Erfahrung!

Good bakery, however I didnt feel welcome as tourist. They don't make me sign to wait, didn't told me the price. The shop was full so no place to seat.

We had a cafè, big orange juice, two Aperol Spritz for less than 20€. The staff was super friendly.

Cute place. Nice variation of sweet and savory for brunch. Also good coffee. Don’t let the looks outside fool you.

What a great neighborhood bar! We wanted Aperol Spritz. We got that and much more! First, the peanuts appeared, then chips, and to our surprise, an entire panini. All the patrons were Italian...always a good sign. The food selection is basic and the prices are very reasonable. I think we will go back again tomorrow for breakfast!

Great place for knowing new people, amazing design, Always when I went I made new friends. The wardrobe staff extremely rude, charging 15 euro for a jacket and bag, for 1 hr. This is not the problem, but the rude way as they were the owners of the place and I hope instead are more mature people. I am a staff member in tourism in center Rome , I can recomend each day tourists, what I did always, but I actually I am afraid the security as animals elibarating the place.. From one side people going there are educated, the security looks from a village from uneducated community, more working in prison. If I did something like that like kickint with no respect or talking with superiority I 100% be fired in 1 second. I work in two hotels one has 8.6 the other 9.0 Hotel in Center and I know customer service. I worked in center London also. There is why you can't grow.... unfortunately you have to improve customer service. Investigate the three four people that ruin a good memory. Good Luck.

The club is split into three areas, DJ and dancing stage, the bar area, second floor”closed when not full”. DJ dancing stage is full of people dancing, bar area less crowded, its your decision where to sit,
They have nice VIP area behind the DJ.

Staff is friendly specially the bartender

Disgusting, really disgusting cocktails for 20€, are you kidding?

The blue cocktail was in the nice glass, and the most delicious thing in it was a parsley leaf to eat after this horror.
Was it failed experiment?
Or it was 20€ per beautiful glass which was so small and even wasn’t full (you can see it in the pic)?

My husband asked to change the “coctail” to Mojito but it was still 20€.

+ 5 € per person per entrance, ha ha.

There were a lot of tables without people, but we were proposed to sit at the table with a couple or with the other company of friends

Really nice food and coffee, for fair prices, in the center of Rome. Being a small place, it is very cozy. I went there three times with my family. In the first, we got some food for takeout. In the two last, we ordered food to eat there. At all times, the staffer who served us, Francesco, made us feel truly welcomed (something we seldom felt at Rome). Asides from providing good and quick service, he was always smiling, and gave us some coffee beans covered in chocolate as courtesy every day before we left. Definitely recommended!

I tried the “Golden Blood”, basically a Bloody Maria with sweet pepper-infused tequila and cherry tomato soup. Very nice presentation, (it came with a blood bag for transfusions) but I could only taste a light diluted tomato flavor, the tequila might as well be missing.

Overall the place fails to impress. The drinks price is in the very high range and the quality is just not worth it, the atmosphere is not of a speakeasy.

Positive note: friendly staff with cool mechanic uniform.

Low-key nightclub aspiring to be high-end, unsuccessfully. The music is Italian oriented. The international songs are from 2000s. Random selection at the door and doubtful clientele. Cocktails are ok. I would not go again.

I liked it! Nice spot to stop during warm summers. It’s cold but not an unbearable cold. They give you a cover up jacket thing to wear and you pay a cover that goes toward your first drink. The cups were made of ice too. Small little rooms that you can sit in with your crew. Hip music playing as well. Not a super big place so I would imagine at night it could possibly get crowded

I stumbled one night in heart of Rome very unusual Ice bar. Me and my wife had great time. Of course waited for a bit around 11pm. But it definitely was worth it. Beautiful and simple of ice sculptures. Will definitely be back once I’m back to Rome. By the way drinks are great they are not cheap with alcohol.

We had a cocktail here after dinner and we loved it! The cocktails were really delicious and well thought. The design, the execution and the taste of each cocktail were really good! Also the service was excellent! Definetely recommended when you are in Rome. You must become member but it is very easy, just walk in!

7 stars! Who knew such a refreshing team could pull of such a wonderful dinner for my wife and I. It was our last day in Italy we wanted a restaurant with style and new foods to try. Now let me tell you, the food in this restaurant was amazing, refreshing and mostly creative! It really opened some new horizons in taste buds to try these amazing dishes! Every fish was made with heart and fresh ingredients. To top it off we had a great waiter team to help us on the way. Totally down to earth guys with heart to their work. Brothers at that too! 😊 I had some prosecco and for the first time I really liked it. After each taste it smelt like Lily flowers, so cool! And refreshing too! Wow. Everyone in Italy go here! Amazing place with fair prices and fun staff! Thank you so much for the great night!

Nous y sommes tombés dessus par hasard un soir on se promenant de Rome.
Le service était plus que correct et les habitués très très sympa.
Nous avons pu faire des bières pong avec les habitués du bars (qui prennent très mal le fait de perdre contre des Français 😜) et boire des coups jusqu'à 4h du matin sans même voir le temps passer.
Vivement recommandé !

Don’t come here if you want to karaoke. It is a bar/club. Interior is quite nice, bathroom did not have soap and it had just opened.

If you are American do not go here. The bouncer here was very rude and disrespectful. They had us followed around and stalked. Very dangerous place to go especially if your a woman.

Nosotros fuimos a la zona de buffet su coste es de 20€ con una bebida incluida , de hay no puedo decir nada estuvo muy bien , es un buffet básico con pizza también.
Somos españoles y nuestra comunicación es más dificultosa , nos enviaron un camarero español MUY AMABLE Y ATENTO .

La única pega que devo decir es que nos pusieron justo delante de la barra del buffet ni había ni 3 metros de distancia, entonces se hace incómodo, la gente pasa muy cerca y la mesa es muy bajita con sofá.. Y LAS VISTAS ERAN AL BUFFET.. en la foto adjuntada es jurandome.
También pedí vino su costo fue de 40€ , la camarera me lo abrió pero no retiro las copas ya usadas de otra bebida.. no nos sentimos muy cómodos ni atendidos como otros clientes que observamos.

Me fui un poco decepcionada ya que me esperaba otro tipo de experiencia, ya no espere ni que hicieran el momento

Drinks were really expensive, 20 euro for two normal sized drinks was a bit absurd. The couches in the lounge smelled dirty like they hadn't been cleaned in a while.

Very very high-energy place. Fascinating international crowd. Go here with a trusted local friend, speak Italian/French/ Spanish or be culturally aware and sophisticated before venturing here. Lots of fun. But please know what you're doing. Not for the uninitiated.

Really good place really nice atmosphere, they serve really good drinks and they serve fresh juice, i go there with my friends and we all really love this place enjoy some good time there. The staff is really nice and friendly. Great customer services.

A hidden treasure in Rome, this place is a cocktail bar opens at 22:00 and goes until early morning. The entrance is restricted and not possible to enter by default. The bar is in the basement with a great ambience. It is exclusive and are accordingly priced. Definitely a place to try and repeat.
