Another month, another struggle to get my medication. Despite clear communication with my provider the correct medication was once again not called in. The administration team does not reply to emails, despite labeling them that they are urgent or an impending medical emergency. The entire practice is dismissive, places blame on patients, ignores requests and is incapable of communicating clearly. If I could escalate this situation any further I would. For your own sake, avoid ever communicating with anyone who works especially as a patient.

If I could leave less than one star I would. This place is a mess with their communication between both the admins and the providers and patients. Even as a well oiled machine of a patient it is a struggle every month to get refills that I would not wish on anyone. The providers are fine but they cannot be trusted when it comes to not only medication but working with you to find solutions around your own boundaries request and insurance. It’s is a factory more than a dr office where they see you as a number and a case study versus a human being. Run.

The worst psychiatric office.
Do not use their service. They waste your time continuously. Their administrative team is completely incompetent. This review is solely for them since I never got to meet with any doctors.
You have to wait 25+ min to speak to a clerk even if it says you are the next person in line. I got an appointment for 1 pm on a Thursday. When you book your appointment, they tell you that you must fill out two rounds of information via email. The first must be approved before they send you the second link. I finished the first round within the time frame they asked me to. After a full day of no response, I call and wait an additional 30 min to speak to someone to ask why I did not get an email for the next step. Without checking my account, the clerk blames me and tells me that I did not complete the information. I inform her that my screen says that it is processed. She checks and It turns out they forgot to check and confirm my information. The clerk then tells me that she will get someone on it right away. I don't receive another email until the morning of my appointment. In this email, they also changed my appointment time to 515 pm without checking in with me. I rearrange my entire day to accommodate this new time that no one confirmed with me. I fill out the second round of information and submit it. 20 min before my appointment, I realize I haven't been sent a link for my Telehealth appointment. I call again and wait the full 20 min before someone picks up and says they don't have time to check my info in time for me to make the appointment. Every step of this experience has felt like neglect so far. I can't imagine that it is only their administrative team that is this incompetent.

I had the privilege of receiving psychiatric services from Nurse Practitioner Dustin Van Holten, and I must say that my experience was nothing short of excellent. From the moment I scheduled my first appointment, I was impressed by Dustin’s professionalism and his commitment to providing exceptional care.
One of the standout qualities of Dustin is his timeliness. I never had to wait long for my appointments, and he always ensured that our sessions started promptly. The receptionist forced me to go into the office. When I got there, they did not even inform security about me. I had to call the office and wait on the phone for over half an hour to talk to someone to get approval to enter the building. Once I got to the doctor, he said I didn't even need to come into the office for the type of treatment I am getting. What a waste of time! This place adds to my stress. Unbelievable!

The clinic emailed me large amounts of paperwork on a Friday afternoon saying it all had to be completed by Sunday morning or my appointment that week would be canceled.
Despite being out of town I did it all, only to have them cancel my appointment on Monday for the following day.
Once they saw my med list from my physical health issues they claimed they couldn't work with me as I need a "higher level of care" but refused to define what they meant by that or where else to seek a provider.
I have been working with regular psychiatrists for years and have never been told this. They are apparently too lazy to do their jobs and bother looking up possible med interactions. Don't waste your time and energy on this clinic like I did.

I can echo all of the other 1-star reviews that have been added. I've been with DMPG for over two years now, and if it wasn't so difficult to find another psychiatrist, I'd have left them ages ago. The office staff is rude, incompetent, and completely indifferent to doing a decent job. The amount of times I've called and waited on HOLD for 45 minutes or more is ridiculous. They are clearly understaffed, and even the staff they do have is nowhere up to par. Combine that with them overscheduling their doctors, and you have patients who need regular refills on their prescriptions, but can't do so without speaking with the doctor. 9 times out of 10 you're left without the prescription you need in a timely manner. I really hope they read these and do something about these issues.

I have been a patient here for almost 2 years. Yes there is a sometimes a long wait in office but I did not have issue with that. My issue has come up recently. I called to schedule an appointment only to be told the doctor was no longer with the practice since last week. No call, no email, no letter to inform me that they would no longer be there. I have had other doctors leave practices and have always received word of it in advance so plans for future care can be made. The receptionist was nice enough to schedule me for another doctor that week. When I received the email to confirm my appointment it stated I had to pay $75, that was never the case for me in the past. I called back and was told the doctor I was scheduled with did not take my insurance, so I requested to be scheduled with one who did. I was scheduled for a doctors who took my coverage. Received the new email and the charge is still $75 for lack of insurance coverage. Would love to give an outcome for this but currently I have been on hold with this office for 5 hours. This is unacceptable for any office, much less an office dealing with patients there for mental health care. Avoid this place at all costs.

Barbara is either overworked and underpaid, or does not know how to deal with people. I attempted to schedule an appointment and the experience turned unpleasant, fast. After 3 minute phone conversation with Barbara, I realized those are not the professionals I would like to consult regarding my problems. I was polite after Barbara told me in an e-mail, which had no subject line and went to my spam folder by default, that there were no weekend appointments available. She proceeded to call me and tell me there were extremely booked and had only two weekend appointments available. I had troubles hearing the names of the doctors and after she told me a phrase along the lines "I will tell you what I tell my 5 year old, you need to listen..." I decided it would frustrating to deal with the rest of the staff on continuous bases if their manager is able to take liberties with prospective patients.

In my experience I didn't have any issues with making an appointment and they were very accommodating. It did take awhile to find a time slot though. In working with Rachel Kidron at WSP, she helped me through a great deal and some issues I was having during a particular period in my life and I would highly recommend her to anyone that is looking to book with WSP. She is one of the best and again, I can't thank her enough.

My own experience booking has not been pleasant or simple. I have to admit, in my personal opinion it is a massive red flag that a psychology practice would receive the same complaint over and over again and (seemingly) not make any changes.

Agreeing with everyone else here- Barbara is awful! She was incredibly rude to me, just disgusting... If you ever want to be reprimanded and belittled for asking simple questions, just give her a call!! So turned off and definitely NOT going there, ever. I wish I could give them negative stars.

I see that a lot of the reviews on here are very negative but are based solely upon the receptionist. While I do recall the receptionist being a little cold, I do not feel as though this place should be rated based solely upon the receptionist. I have had a very positive experience here and have found the therapists to be quite helpful. The overall experience has been very beneficial for stress management and satisfying that general need to "work things through" with a neutral party. No reason to give a 1 star review based on a disagreement with the receptionist and scare people off from visiting what I found to be competent therapists.

I agree with other reviews. The scheduler Barbara is so hard to reach and when you do finally get a hold of her she is abrasive and not helpful and nice. It is not what you would expect or need if you are looking for a therapist. Does not give a good first experience of the practice.

Almost lost my wife after C section, She got septicemia inside the surgery room. it was E coli in her blood....they did not even care that much. it was in 2012 but still hurtful memories.

I called 3 times to make an appointment and left 2 messages, then I sent an emailed to the website. Finally "Barbara" left me a message on my voicemail. Her attitude on my voicemail was clear that she did get all my messages. When I did call her back, she was short and very condescending. Her mannerism stunk. You're calling a Psychologists office, you would think they would call you back promptly and would have nice people to speak to .I would never go there, if "Barbara" was the front desk. Very disappointed.
