Ordered ayam masak kicap, tomyam, and fish. The ayam masak kicap is the best. Located just next to the beach. The only downside is that there a are alotvof tint msquitoes which i am sure can be resolve by providing an insect repellent. But a really must try place with great food selection and affordable and below average penang pricing.

Only thing good about this place is the environment... dinner by the beach... Nothing More !!
Food taste is awful and bloody expensive..

Note : not run by local, that's why yhe taste is sooo different
Saw this restaurant had good reviews and was interested in trying their ikan bakar. It was nice and hot upon arrival. We ordered directly as they weren't on grab or foodpanda. They managed to hire grab to deliver our food, and we paid by transfer. We were impressed with their service cos our hotel was at Georgetown and they took extra mile to send to us. Despite food arrive late, purely traffic issues due to PH. We still get a warm food and enjoyable experience in comfort of our hotel. Recommended to try.

Batu Ferringhi, Penang, Malaysia. Hainanese spring roll is tasty but the portion is smaller compared to previous one. Chilli crab is delicious. We are no longer allowed to sit facing the sea.
The service was prompt, great atmosphere on the beach front and not over crowded when we were there - week day.
The only food that I thought could be improved is the prawns. All the salted eggs is on the shell. The other three dishes were good and one would come back for more.
A nice local eatery by the beach. The food is decent and there are nice seats by the beach. It’ll be great if you come here during sunset time. You can also see people on horseback rides there. The food is not too bad but could have been better. They might have a JJCM review back then but their chef might have changed over time. Hope they can improve in the future and attract more customers.
Pricey for the quality. We came here for the lobster cause it was rated one of the best in Penang. But to our surprise, it wasn’t fresh lobster and pricey. The food and environment was just average. Can find better seafood restaurants instead.

It's a very old shop serving hainanese style chu char, but it doesn't live up to the old school taste. Price is also on the higher side & service is bad. This place is very famous for their Hainanese spring roll, but I've tasted better ones.

Very conveniently located on Batu Ferringhi stretch of beach, close to where we stayed at Hard Rock Hotel (3 mins drive). I have booked for dinner few weeks in advance but the lady couldn't find my booking. Nevertheless she still accommodated us and seated us on a big table. We ordered la-la, crab, crispy chicken, grouper fish, fried spring roll and stir fry sweet potato leaves. Apart from the crab which is mediocre. Other dishes were delicious esp the sweet potato leaves and la-la. Very beautiful sun set view.

Siakap 3 rasa - acceptable
buttermilk prawn more to green CURRY taste and not fresh at all - not recommended
Brocolli garlic (carrot and shintake mushroom SOURY) - not recommended

Overall for me is bad experience for having seafood at penang 😔
Food is average, nothing extraordinary but also not bad. We had pre ordered spring roll, squid kamheong, salted egg prawns, and some drinks. Cocktails were watered down.

Service wise it was one of the worst service in all of Penang. 0 out of 5 on the way the staff here is treating customers. Feels more like they are doing a favor by serving, takes ages to get their attention or get them to talk back to you politely

One of those typical places that’s surviving because of the beach location, won’t survive very long with this attitude. I wish they close down soon and get taken over by someone who understand how to treat customers !

Location, food and service staff all score high points, except for the toilets.

If toilets are a true reflection of the premise, then it's a no no to Beach Cirner Seafood.

Filthy toilets, stinky 😤- a true turnoff for customers.

Poor and very slow service. You can only get your food after an hour and the taste is not good at all. Tomyam cair, siakap 3 rasa takde rasa, sotong goreng tepung hangit dan pahit. And its expensive. I dont mind waiting and pay more but the taste totally did not match the amount you paid and the waiting time at all.

Good choice of Halal Malay-Thai food. Wishlist - it'll be greater experience if they do have tables on the beach sand facing the beach... something that may upsell the location I believe. Food taste is delicious!
