Food was really good. The tortilla soup was amazing with great bold flavors. The tacos were so good also you could taste the lightness but filling. Server was absolutely amazing he was attentive to our group of 10 very well. He even was given a “surprise me” order and did excellent
Saltgrass Steak House was a fantastic experience! I ordered the prime rib, and it was cooked to the perfect temperature—so juicy and flavorful! The asparagus on the side was tender and added a nice crunch. The staff was super pleasing and attentive, making me feel right at home. I also enjoyed a delicious margarita that was refreshing and not too sweet. Everything combined made for a memorable meal that I can't wait to repeat!
Saltgrass is my go-to steakhouse. I always get great service, delicious food, and the price is not outrageous. The atmosphere is very relaxed, and has a country charm to it. My steaks come to me at the temperature i order them. The staff go above and beyond to please their guests. The manager will come over to check on you, and thank you for visiting. I am a huge fan of any Landrys restaurant. I highly suggest becoming a Landrys member, you get great perks.
Very good food, ribs was awesome the meat fell right off the bone. The bbq chicken was very good. We had excellent service last night even tho we had a party of 12. Thank you.
Love love love this place. Blackened fish sando is best around. And the slaw is amazing. When you’re done wander into Still Austin for whiskey and have a perfect day

Had the shrimp Poboy it was OK, but it does not come with enough Shrimp has some flavor but honestly, the whole burger bun is pointless.
Definitely not worth the 14+ dollars I spent.

I absolutely adore this Saltgrass! First and foremost, the food - they offer a meaty menu and a fully stocked bar. The steaks are juicy, and the salads are crispy and falvorful. The Texas-themed atmosphere, complete with charming cattle-themed decor, adds to the overall experience. Our server provided exceptional service, making us feel right at home. I wholeheartedly recommend this establishment and can't wait to return.

I had the shrimp roll that is easily the best I’ve had anywhere. The bread is fresh baked somewhere nearby and completely tried to steal the show. The shrimp are perfectly prepared and seasoned. This is a taste bud explosion!

Staff is very friendly and personable. They take Tex Mex to a new level. I would highly recommend everything on the menu!

Stopped by for lunch after a morning kayaking on Lady Bird Lake. What a fabulous restaurant on the water. Great vibes, good food, fantastic service: shout out to Joshua who did a great job catering to our big group with separate checks! This restaurant is highly recommended and I will certainly be back with friends!
Had a lovely time at this restaurant. Vibes are very on point, and the food even more so! Family had the Shrimp Enchilada, Pulled Pork Sandwich, and Chicken Chile Relleno, all of which were absolutely delicious.

We were a little hesitant after reading some of the negative reviews, but there was no reason to be! The food was excellent, the steaks came out just perfect, great recommendation of wine from our waitress. Service was outstanding and the manager walks the floor making sure everything is going well. Fantastic way to close out our COTA weekend in Austin.
The sunset view is beautiful across the water. However, the food and service could have been better. I ordered the fish tacos, and the Mahi Mahi was very dry. I also ordered the coconut shrimp, and it was delicious.
As for the service, the bar hadn't been wiped down and was just as sticky as the menus. I had to get my own menu and get the attention of the bartender several times. It was understandable on a busy night, but when there were only 4 people at the bar and two bartenders, I would have expected better service. More attentive, at least. Other than these few minor details, the overall atmosphere of this place is laid back and a great place to have a drink by the water.

We had the pleasure of dining at Saltgrass during our first trip to Texas, and it was an unforgettable experience! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warm Southern hospitality. The service was exceptional, with friendly staff who went above and beyond to ensure our dining experience was top-notch. And let's talk about the steaks - absolute perfection! Cooked to perfection and bursting with flavor, they truly showcased the best of Texas-style cuisine. Plus, the total eclipse was a shared experience with the friendly staff (thank you, Saltgrass team, for that cosmic moment!).
If you want a close up water view… option for the table tops behind the outside bar…still get full service, you don’t have to be wait to be seated, and doesn’t feel as cramped as the rest of the outdoor seating. Good portions and large and delicious!
This food truck is INSIDE Still Austin Whiskey Co | they use buzzers for you to pick up your food | their food is fresh and made to order (so come with patience) everything eas cooked to perfection - the burgers was perfect and fries were crispy on the outside and soft and mealy on the inside | definitely recommended
If you can’t find a parking spot, there’s more across the street. On a beautiful sunny day this place is bustling and very fun. Nothing to fancy which is great when you’re right on the lake. Awesome patio and a great area if you want to sit indoors.
Hula Hut is in Austin favorite for us. This is a great place to sit right on the lake and have some great Mexican food. They make the tortillas right there which is really cool to watch. This is another great place to take people who are not from Austin to kind of get a sense of the cool Vibes that we have here. I love that you can sit outside right on the lake and that people pull their boats right up too. Definitely a must visit if you haven't been there before!
Hula Hut is a great spot for lunch or dinner. Beautiful location, right on the water. Service was great, had a very knowledgeable waiter and helpful staff. The food was spot on, really tasty. I tried the shrimp flautas with chili sauce and the shrimp enchilada and both were delicious. Nice size portions as well. I would recommend this spot if you're in the area.
Jesse was our server and Josh helped him out. I had called ahead and spoken with Megan. It was because of her professionalism, but I helpfulness and great attitude that I decided to eat here.

No better way to celebrate a Wednesday than with amazing food and amazing talent! If you haven’t tried the smash burger here, you don’t know what you are missing. Add some awesome sounds of Lew Apollo and you have yourself a perfect night!
Surprisingly tasty seafood and burgers with shockingly large portions. Fried food isn't always my favorite when it's super hot outside, and even still Huckleberry's options really impressed.
This is THE place to get a blue crab quesadilla! Far too often, crabakes or the like have tons of filler and not enough crab, but Huckleberry is very generous with the crab in their quesadilla! Very delicious. I paired this with a watermelon salad and I have to write that it is very refreshing, especially on a warm, summer day. The combo of the watermelon 🍉 salad and blue crab quesadilla is perfect and I HIGHLY RECOMMEND you order them together.

The seafood is awesome, it is so fresh that it's hard to believe you're not right on the ocean. I feel the price for the fries is a little high at 8 dollars but other than that everything is great. Plus the atmosphere of being between Still Austin distillery and St. Elmo's brewing adds to the experience!
