Very pleasant staff especially from the our waiter Susie she made us feel very welcome. Food quality is excellent much better than the 5* resort we were staying at. I would highly recommend a visit if you are in NUSA Dua!!!

In one word, the place is "Overrated"
The restaurant within Sofitel opens for dinner all days and a sunday brunch. The menu is not exhaustive, but they have a nice kids menu and will get nice cutlery for the kids. The most famous thing for the restaurant is the long pepper crusher.

The taste was average to say the least and does not justify the costs. It has a nice wine selection

Four stars for atmosphere and service. however the food taste, portion and quality was less than average. I ordered a seafood brochette for $24 Australian Dollars, which had 2 small prawns, wrinkled up calamari, small piece of fish and a couple of onions and capsicum on a skewer. It was had to swallow. Any way nice atmosphere as per the video.

Perfect restaurant. We had calamari, fries and 2 pizzas. Very nice ambience. The musicians were perfect. The musicians guessed we were on our Honeymoon and played our wedding entrance song by purely guessing which song.

Great service and food at Tropical Restaurant. We had the large seafood platter and it was great for 2 people. We also tried the Mie Goreng dish. Would recommend and would visit again

Location is very convenient if you're at the pools or beach.

First I spoke to the concierge to book a table for us, he replied back that it’s fully booked and there’s no availability until the next day. We ended up going few minutes later as walk ins and they right away seated us, and the place was relevantly empty.

We went through the menu and there were a lot of restrictions due to it having pork or cooked with wine. Even though I asked them if I could order one of these dishes and they don’t use them they replied that they can’t which is odd as a lot of restaurants would accommodate this request.

The food took way too long and the waited ended up bringing us one of the orders wrong and I asked for the grilled sea bream and it turned out not fully grilled matter a fact half baked and I believe it was pan grilled it was actually greasy.

Honestly neither the food nor the experience was really worth it.

Many good things but air con system was broken so not good for wine and cheese that we wanted. Service was good with a little forced up-selling like pushing the mineral water in an unnatural way. Cold cuts and cheese were great for Asian standards and veal very well made but steak quality of meat mediocre. We could tell that the Lady Italian Chef was running a top notch restaurant that falls short of outstanding given locallly available ingredients and the obviously broken air con. Overall a decent experience that has the potential to be excellent.

My family and I are in Nusa Dua, Bali. We've eaten at many places but we like "Tropical" the best. We really enjoy their food. Their pizzas, spaghetti, Tom Yams, and seafood are delicious. Also, their Mahi Mahi, Tuna steak, pan-roasted Barramundi, and Tom Yam Gong are simply amazing. Everything is cooked perfectly, all thanks to their main chef. The service is great too. We're very happy here. This place truly deserves 5 stars. We definitely recommend it. You'll love it too.

Awesome place by the beach view was breathtaking, Crystal clear beach, We went as guest so we paid 150000IDR Per person for towels and other facilities (swimming pool, shower etc.). We ordered Fried Rice, Pasta and cheese Pizza which was good. A bit expensive but it was worth it.

I do not recommend this place. We didn't stay in the hotel but we wanted to relax on their pillows on the beach and order something to drink and eat. There were lots of available places on pillows and sunbeds. The waiter allowed us and invited us. 5 minutes later when we relax the management of the hotel came and kicked us out. They were rude and told us to leave, they said we were lying. Such behavior towards the customer is unacceptable.

Tired worn out resort! Limited options with food, the service was very slow, No mini bar so I had to get a taxi to Cocos to buy snacks and drinks ! Great location the beach was lovely. Other tourist made it impossible to relax Japanese guy launching his flybot right next to me. I know the resort wants us to love it but not for us Aussies it's all Russian I actually had to ask if anyone spoke English in the end 😞 After my experience I would not book! go back to Jimbaran, Legian!

I really enjoy dining at Tropical Restaurant Mengiat. This restaurant is a short walk from many hotels in Nusa Dua (and the beach) and is both family and individual dining friendly. Having tried the Tom Yum soup, salads, hamburgers and their great pizzas in the many timès I have dined there, I must say, the variety and quality of the menu is outstanding, with reasonable prices. It is obvious, that the chefs, kitchen staff and managers are professionally trained and skilled. What makes Tropical stand out the most for myself, however, is the genuine, friendly and professional staff. No matter the quality of the food, the waiters and waitresses are key for customers to return....and Tropical Mengiat excels with this. I don't remember all of the names, however, as an example, Ena is such a great asset to Tropical Restaurant as she is always smiling, professional and helpful. I will definitely return again and again! Thank you and Om Swastiastu!

Ayodya is a grand old resort that captures all of the culture, essence, and feel of traditional Bali.
Highly recommended and great value!!

Great food. My family loves it. Service is impeccable. Our waiter name is andika which was very attentive.

The aircon is a bit weak but I think they did it on purpose....

Tonight, we had dinner at Ayodya beach club grill. Everything was excellent. The food was great, staff were friendly and the service was exceptional.

During our 3-night stay in Nusa Dua, my partner and I went to Tropical for dinner twice as we loved it that much!! The atmosphere was so lovely, the staff are so friendly and welcoming. We would especially like to thank Enik who served us both times we went, she remembered our names and gave us some great recommendations for our time in Bali! Our favourite cocktail was the lemongrass margarita- we also shared a combo of Indonesian dishes and wood fired pizza (the pizza based are amazing- we had Tropic's special with huge burrata). Also loved the spring rolls! Prices are so affordable, such a central location, 10/10! We will definitely be back!!

Great place in Nusa Dua. The wood fired pizzas are yummy. For some reason, they don’t season the food well enough. Service and atmosphere are really good otherwise.

We stayed nearby and I was looking for a restaurant that could cater to my kids as well. What I really liked about Tropical is that the restaurant felt really clean, the fish was excellent and for one of my kids who is a fussy eater they were able to cater with something that suited their needs (plain pasta with butter 🤷🏻‍♀️). The menu is diverse so there’s lots to try and overall I was happy to go back a few times during our stay.

Located at the tip of the island, the restaurant sounded tempting. The food was alright, nothing exceptional. The cocktails were quite decent, The service was good but overall the place needs a little renovating.
Do want to call out that we went for lunch, I feel going there close to sunset may provide a different experience on the atmosphere.

We Had only beverages during a short Stop. The View ist amazing. Prices on a Higher level but for foreigners absolute affordable.

Food was very delicious but very pricey. Nice view over the ocean, but so many flies flying around.

Great brunch with an amazing buffet : sea food, fresh raw and cooked fish, cured meat and French cheeses, roasted meats, sides, international specialties and great dessert cart.
While the free flow does not have champagne, the Prosecco is nice, cocktails are decent but wine was poor.
The view onto the pools and access to hotel facilities made for a great day with the kids.

The stars must have aligned for our family. Earlier in the day, my kids were playing at the ocean stream just beside the stairs down. At night we did a quick google and chanced upon this place. Upon reaching, we realised that stream is just there!

The Food- We are a family of 2 adults and 2 kids, we ordered 7 main dishes such as Mahi-Mahi, Salmon, Barrumundi and others and all I can say they are all so delicious! My kid adult portion Aglo olio was slurp up in minutes😂
Each dish flavours complement the side garnish. Fish is not fishy, so fresh.

Service- Excellent and attentive

Place & Ambience-We took a table facing the ocean and my 9 yo kid says ‘It is so romantic’🥰 Though outdoors, no mosquitos at all.

Dog- We were fortunate to pat and play with the owner’s dog.He is so sweet and cute. And he has an instagram-chipdogbali

Had our dinner here, the ambience was romantic. Friendly staffs & nice service in general.

What we ordered, Tagliatelle Carbonara & something else that we literally forgot the name😅. Both were honestly just OK for us. We are used to having Pastas with strong savoury flavor, those two were not it.

We dined here for my birthday dinner. What a brilliant experience. We started with drinks in the outdoor seating area which was lovely. The menu (Italian) was excellent with so many options to choose from. We had a lovely table outside next to the pool. The staff were excellent and so professional, both of our times dining here were fantastic. The second time there was a live pianist which was lovely. Thank you for a wonderful dining experience

Awesome California style bar and grill. Food is good price. Big beer available! It's located right beside the Mulia resort just walk south along walkway.

Excellent food quality and friendly service. Prices are less than half that in the adjacent resort. A hidden gem.

Situated within Hilton Hotel, this restaurant is nestled right beside the beach where one can wine and dine to the romantic sounds of the light crashing waves while light easy music plays in the background. I was fortunate enough to have live musicians then singing every known love ballads conceivable and I have to think about why I'm dining alone under the beautiful starlit night with tears rolling down my cheeks.
I had very good tenderloin steak made here and the service staff were awesome except one who kept interrupting my thoughts about whether I'll like more to drink - like I mean if you're really keen to see a grown man drunk and wailing abouts me lonesome dinner with all these romance sure!
Be sure to bring your love partner here, reserve a nice table in advance and it'll be a night to remember. If you're alone you can be like me but try not to drown your sorrows here and ruin dinner for others.

We really enjoyed the stay at their pool and how the place is decorated but the food was a letdown. We were not guests at the hotel so we paid 100k/adult for towel, sun bed and beach access which is reasonable given how big and nice the pool is.
The food had the prices of a 5 star hotel but it looked and tasted like any other small warung (maybe even worse). The fruits were really good though.
The service is quite bad and the tables were not cleaned after the previous persons. Nobody came after 25 minutes to take our order (the restaurant was not busy), the coconut came without straws and after telling them that, we finished eating and the straws still didn’t come. Definitely not a 5 stars service, they are not professionals.

Lovely catch up dinner with a close friend, eating some light food. Yummy satay, prawn popcorn, and good Ceasar salad .great fruit juice and mocktails, super friendly staff.

Did I mention we actually sat on the beach? Wowza !

Easily the worst meal I had in Bali and at 20x the price of the rest. Had rib pasta, tomato sauce and meat. The tomato sauce was bland and the pasta wasn’t even cooked through. I’ve had better reheated leftovers. I would recommend giving it a miss.

We spent an entire day at their beach club. It's 75,000 idr per person and that gives you access to their pool (photo attached), facilities like showers, bathrooms, different types of lounges, an iced tea and towel. We loved hopping from pool to ocean back to our lounge in the sun. It was also fun to walk the hotel resort grounds as it's closed down since COVID and feels like a ghost town. There's even fish swimming in the main pool (not the one pictured near the beach but the one in the middle of the hotel).

What a delightful surprise to discover The Shore, at The Hilton in Nusa Dua. It’s a casually elegant ocean side restaurant in the garden where you can choose from three settings: directly beachside with gentle ocean breezes, in the covered area adjacent, or on the rooftop. All locations have stunning ocean views. We dined here because we had won a gift certificate that The Hilton had generously donated to a charity event put on by the Clubhouse to raise money and awareness for Casa Vida (a shelter for women and their children).
Upon arrival we were greeted and treated like royalty as we were escorted to the front desk where we were warmly welcomed and informed that we had our choice of three restaurants. We chose The Shore for its ocean setting and menu. From there, Augusta, a friendly young man, took us down to the restaurant, very patiently, as I stopped to take pictures of the stunning ocean vistas along the way. I was totally impressed with his knowledge of the resort and the area, as well as his suggestion that the next time we are in the area that we should stay at the Hilton.
The service in the restaurant provided by Endra was professional and welcoming, and once again he invited us to stay at the Hilton in the future. The meal was delicious and beautifully presented including our appetizer shown here. We can’t thank The Hilton enough for donating to Casa Vida which led us to discover this gem. We will be having friends and family visiting this season while we are in Bali, and we will be sure to bring them here. Highly recommend!

During our great stay in Hilton we tried The Shore restaurant multiple times. In general the food is good. Its not excellent. The view is great, location is nice, but price is also a 5 star experience. Some drinks are good, some are just soso.
Service is good. Would like to give this restaurant 5 stars, but compared with other places its not yet on that level imo.

Our experience at Cucina was really disappointing. The setting is beautiful but it was all downhill from there.

They were 6 or more items not available from the menu, the service was so slow it was almost nonexistent and we constantly had to call people over to get a drink or have our table cleared. The starters were ok but the steaks were over cooked. I didn’t eat my steak which was ordered to be medium rare but as shown in the picture attached was not delivered that way.

I was asked about my meal and offered something else. I had chosen not to get a new one as I didn’t want to sit eating on my own. I was surprised to see the full charge remain on the bill when it was clearly not as ordered.

The food was over priced. What we received was poor quality food and service.

Good location and food is also not bad. There is a long wait for the food about 1hour 30mins and follow up is a must otherwise you may have to wait a bit longer. Skip any BBQ lunch offers and order a la carte instead as items mostly run out. The 2 ⭐⭐ rating are due to the extreme wait time.
