I am a passionate supporter of Italian cuisine and dining establishments. Whenever I visit a new place, my first priority is to seek out an Italian restaurant. Without a doubt, this restaurant surpasses all others I have previously dined at! In particular, the leadership and customer service are top-notch.
Ordered the focaccia, squid, pizza, salad, mushroom pasta, and cheese cake. The squid was the highlight. Our server was very attentive. Looking forward to coming back and trying out more of their food
My dad never makes specific requests for his birthday. He asked for Lobster. We used to go to this renown fried lobster place on Baldwin but it's gone. Two other spawned off it after it either failed or the brothers went their separate ways. One bro opened one downtown. It's gone too. The other is and IG favourite in Scarborough. If the Gardiner had been open thats where we were headed. Luckily we stayed more local, or downtown and discovered this gem. Now, it is not pretty to look at and the interior is pretty sparse, ol school some may say. Now, ignore that and you'll have some of the best Chinese food and fastest service.
In most other cuisines, something that comes out in under a couple of minutes is dodgy. You assume it was a scoop and serve. It's the opposite for Chinese. If it takes too long, it's either bougie or being reheated. The food came out super fast and piping hot fresh off their fiery woks.
We ordered 2 lobsters, 2 chow meins, fried rice, steamed rice, spring rolls. It all hit the table as it was fired and was fresh, well seasoned, and piping hot. My kids are used to 'poser' Chinese from the west end or on resorts, so my daughter had to add soy sauce to her rice but it didnt need it :D The lobsters were so good, we ordered a 3rd and only waited a few minutes. Service was attentive but not imposing as any authentic Chinese place. I will definitely be back. There are not many tables so if you are a table of more than 5, call ahead.

This place is an institution. Great staff, service is fast and the food is delicious. Spicy Vancouver crab, shrimp fried rice, fried seafood medley. The flavors... miam miam. Loyal customer for many years and we drive 100km just to eat there at least once a year!!!!
Overall, the food was good with the exception that the tomahawk had some parts that were not soft and it was really hard to chew them. If you love desserts like me order the mountain chocolate cake 100% worth it. I consider the service needs to improve in terms of friendliness.
I like Wah Too a lot. Order from here quite often and food is always good. One star off as I noticed the last time i ordered there was significantly less seafood in my fried noodle compared to previously. Update 5 stars again good as always.
Happy to find this restaurant. Atmosphere and food are all nice, and we will absolutely come back. Special shout out to server Richard, who is professional and knows when and what to do. He asked exactly when we needed something. At first, I felt like we were not welcomed by the receptionist, the person said we would have to wait over an hour if we didn't have a reservation, but a reservation was available right at that time. Very weird and unhappy. Anyway, even with this first impression, Richard made everything perfect.
Can a cake that doesn't have flour taste good yes it can!! I had a work event and the I saw the menu I had to try to cake it had to be the moistest and delicious cake I ever had and it was chocolate. The restaurant is very small but it is a great location, and parking is close by. The subway is a bit far but after a meal like that, a walk is worth it! The service was excellent.
The restaurant has a very positive energy, food is very good, anything that you eat from the menu is going to be good, so nothing to worry. The servers are outstanding, very professional, our server Alex he was amazing, helped us out with the selection of wine and food. All over the atmosphere is outstanding. They also have a good lunch deal, definitely one of the best comfort Italian restaurant in Toronto.
Excellent service, ambience and quality of food! Our server seemed very passionate and knowledeable. There were endless wine selections. Steak was cut very thick and juicy. Highly recommend!😆
Adega has been in the Toronto scene serving delicious Portuguese cuisine for eternity and there is a reason for that, this place is just that great. Impecable white linen service and fresh delicious food that will delight anyone. We came here for lunch and that was an awesome decision. I highly recommend this restaurant nestled on Elm Street.
Incredible dining experience. We couldn’t decide on our favourite dish out of the lot. The manager was so sweet and took us to the VIP area - which has stunning aesthetics and service. This place is perfect for special occasions.
Phenomenal food and great atmosphere. I believe our group was taken a little less seriously being in our early 20’s and dressed less elegantly for the night (even though our order was over $1,000). Still a good experience overall.
I went to Harbor 60 a number of years ago for a Christmas party with work and we had a really good time. The atmosphere was really nice and we were in the private room and the food was excellent.
I went back very recently just to share a dessert and a drink with a coworker. The dessert shown on the picture is the Baked Alaska For Two, which was delicious although super sweet. The flambe of the dessert which gives this darker color to the meringue was quite the show and really gave it a nice little touch. That was a $26 dessert, which for two is actually reasonable.
Now here's the reason why I'm not giving a five-star across the board for my experience. I had ordered a beer as I am a beer drinker myself. I ordered a Guinness which was your regular tall can, since they don't serve beer on tap. That regular can was $12 (gasp). The waitress brought the can and a cone shaped type of glass as shown in the picture, which I pointed out as not being the right type of glass for that beer. Now this might sound a little snobby but when you come to such an upscale place where the New York strip steak is at $102, you would expect the beer to be served in the proper type of glass (at least that was *my* expectation and I think that's reasonable). That's the reason why service only gets four stars out of five, even though our waitress was really helpful. To management: please get proper beer glasses, that would really help with the fact that you only serve beers in cans...

Great service, and we had some great dishes but some dishes had similar ingredients and were not of consistent quality/cooking. We would highly reccomend the shrimp bisque, octopus and pork belly and whole red snapper, however there should be some consideration into calling an item a signature dish and then serving an overcooked octopus for a main signature dish, which we had to send back. Also the mashed potatoes on the lamb could be improved and were average. Overall the atmosphere was great and we loved the booth cubby holes that gave you an intimate setting.
Great place!! One of the best spicy miso ramen I've had. Then, I went for a yummy Nakayoshi cheesecake. Service was fantastic, the waiters were so nice. I don't use to write reviews tbh, but this place deserved it. Amazing experience.
I had an excellent dining experience! The food was truly delicious, and the portions were impressively generous compared to other places. One thing I would recommend is brighter lighting as I had to use my phone's flashlight to read the menu. But I will come back for sure.
Great atmosphere, service and food. Highly recommend if you are in the area. Had the fish and chips-delicious.

I have been going to this restaurant for years, but always for takeout only. Never had to wait long even when I ordered in the restaurant.
The takeout food & portions are always generous, fresh & tasty. No complains.
The prices are reasonable because the portions are generous.
The lady owner & the staff working there are always courteous. But sometimes when it gets busy with taking orders from the phone or handling delivery pickups, people may react to intolerance & misunderstand that the staff & service doesn't seem to be quite to their acceptance & expectations. When I was ordering in the restaurant, I had no problems waiting patiently when I encountered this situation. I waited for my turn to order my takeout & pickup.
Finally had a chance to dine in. Of course, all the orders were delicious & yummy. Excellent portions. Very impressive. Didn't have to wait long at all for 6 orders. They all came one after the other.
The lady server was attentive & courteous. The lady owner came over several times to make sure all the orders were right.
Seems it wasn't too busy. But it was still half full. Therefore, I didn't have any problems that I had to rush off to pay my bill.
I am looking forward to dining in more often in the future.

Sunday date night was lovely! The food was great — no complaints there. The wagyu carpaccio was favourite of the night and 1000/10 would order again. The rib eye was perfectly cooked but the truffle butter just wasn’t truffling. The lobster mac and cheese and mashed potatoes were wonderful and the portions were great! Complimentary valet parking and cost check were a plus.
The service was good but not absolutely amazing. The hostesses could be friendlier and less cold/uninterested but I’ve noticed this is a trend across most Toronto restaurants within this price range. We have had better service at STK, Blue Blood and Akira Back.
Overall, would come here again for the food but not until we try other restaurants in Toronto first.

We had an amazing experience. The food was a solid 5/5 and the atmosphere and staff were amazing. They also gave good recommendations which made it easier. Definitely recommend this place.

We came across this place while walking down the street, so glad we decided to give it a try! It’s exceeded my expectations in all possible ways. The atmosphere is very cozy, with lots of elegant decorations. The service is top notch - not the super trained and polite (sometimes aloof) style, but the family / old friend style, they make you feel you are truly welcomed. The food….. so so good. We ordered the grilled calamari, the salmon pasta and the mushroom and prosciutto pizza. Each dish is 20 out of 10. Would definitely return to try their dessert - we wanted to order one this time, but our stomachs were too full. Great portion too! The best part - pricing is also reasonable, there’s no ridiculous markups as some other restaurants we’ve been to before.

Came in with a small group. The service was friendly. I had the raspberry beret and the shrimp and calamari appetizer.

Big portions and good flavours. Nice atmosphere and attentive servers. A bit pricy for lunch but that dis not stop the place from being mostly full. Make a reservation.
If you’re a dog that likes bones … go here. I had the worst experience !! The roasted du k was ALLL BONES and rice . Even the lobster I used to get her for so long is now not a full lobster but lobster bits and shell. Hot and sour soup had nothing but Broth and random bits …. AVOID THIS PLACE ! I used to be a super fan but since COVID…. They turned money hungry and quality is WAYYYY LOW. Try SWATOW for your duck. This place is tired and it shows. 0/10
Absolutely disgusted with my order, shrimp wasn’t deveined so I had to throw the shrimp in the garbage, $19.
The noodles were raw, I was supposed to pour a broth over them to soften them, $17.
I’ll never order take out there again, I need food ready to eat not to assemble myself. Not worth the money if half goes into the garbage and I have to prepare myself at work. Defeats the purpose of “take out”.

Ordered from uber eats and my butter chicken was half potatoes, obviously to pad the dish and use a less expensive ingredient.

Ordered Uber delivery today.. and it was OK. The Panang curry was super sweet.. sweeter than usual compared to most I’ve tried, and it had lots of potatoes which to me is not traditional. I chose calamari for my protein with my curry and the calamari didn’t taste that fresh, extremely dried out. Spring rolls were good, and the hot and sour soup was good, lots of veggies.
Fire alarm... that was a big problem other than that it was a wonderful atmosphere. Good food good company wasn't impressed with the deep fried calamari and shrimp it was soggy and greasy. Our charcuterie board was delightful will definitely order that again! My company had fish and chips and macaroni and cheese it was OK
Take out butter chicken with roti and samosas.
The samosas were incredibly fresh and tasty. I ordered the roti separately to enjoy the sauce and the juicy pieces of chicken and potatoes.
It's quite a meal, and two people can enjoy this easily. You might wish to order another roti or rice.

This is pretty much the high point of Chinese food, adjusted to Canadian tastes, where nothing is really unusual. But it goes far beyond what you can expect at your fast food Chinese food where sweet and sour chicken balls and chop suey reign supreme.
As someone who has eaten Chinese food for much of my life, and I've had the real deal, cooked by my father, eaten at some pretty fine Chinese high-end restaurants, this is a place where I'm happy to take people that want a good meal, filling, and not too weird.....
If you want something more authentic, there are other places, with menus in Chinese (and I can't read Chinese), and service that can be marginal, at best. Service here is efficient, and reminiscent of most Chinese diners. My grandfather owned a Canadian Chinese restaurant, and he'd like this place.

Food pricing is a bit steep but it is a high end Toronto restaurant so I get it. Cocktail pricing is absolutely criminal with no cocktail cheaper than $30.

By far the best Greek restaurant still owned and run by original owners after 26 yrs.

Our delivery experience from Mother India in Toronto was a flavorful journey through Indian cuisine. The butter chicken and lamb tikka were highlights, packed with rich, authentic taste. The portions were generous, and the careful packaging ensured the dishes arrived in excellent condition, maintaining their delicious flavours.
While the main dishes were a triumph, the garlic naan fell short of expectations, lacking the desired garlic intensity and tasting somewhat bland. On a positive note, the side rice portion was large. The overall delivery service was efficient and timely. Despite the minor setback with the naan, we had a delightful Indian dining experience in the comfort of our home.

I had lamb vindaloo roti. The sauce was perfectly tangy. The vegetarian samosas I ordered for take out were large and filling. I will order again to go from there, and the service was friendly.

Great food! We got the crispy beef, general tao chicken, fried egg noodles, and fried rice (not sure what specific soup we got). The servers were also very friendly!
We ate here with our friends for a birthday celebration. The food was top quality. We were heading to a Leaf's game and they were quick to accommodate our time restraint.

We had a terrible experience we we found hair strands in two of our dishes, it was disgusting, we didn’t even bother telling them, because by then we were kind of in the middle and we just stopped eating. From what we ate, Food taste was really average in fact bit below average. We ordered some platters and meat in our platter was burnt, octopus was burnt so much that it had a charred taste, sausage was burnt.
Talking about the service really poor, the person who was serving us didn’t really want to walk up to the table, he would try to speak to us from the bar, so literally two people talking loudly in a restaurant asking for the check, and asking for the machine to pay, we felt really awkward. This is absolutely not the typical service you would get in a restaurant. And when you pay, the guy would keep looking into the machine to see how much you are tipping, obviously you can’t expect us to be generous with the tip with such poor quality and taste of food and below the average service, yet we still did tip.

In a word: overrated. Went here to celebrate a family members birthday and ordered steak, fries, and lobster mac and cheese as the mains. The steak was extremely dry and the lobster was too fishy, but the fries had a nice crisp. The only redeeming factor of this restaurant is their desserts, which stun both in appearance and in taste. The build-your-own-s’mores kit was fun to use and tasted incredible, and the lava cake was the perfect temperature on the inside to mix well with the ice cream.

The food is amazing here, I’ve been getting their take out for years and recently decided to try them for catering and they did not disappoint ! Love that it came with signs so everyone knew what the dishes were. The lobster was so fresh and delicious and the garlic beef is always so good here. Definitely perfect for the holiday dinners and pricing is very fair ! Everything was nice and hot and ready to serve. Definitely will continue to be a customer here

Sadly was the most bland Indian food I’ve ever had. Ordered aloo gobi, potato and eggplant and mixed vegetables all vegan. There was really no taste and was just watery and unpleasant. Sad to leave a bad review but I really didn’t the joy this food.

At Miller Tavern, the Caesar salad served as a delightful prelude, with crisp freshness and a well-balanced dressing. The main course of fish and chips surpassed expectations, offering a harmonious blend of crispy batter and tender fish. Lovely, warm atmosphere. Thoroughly enjoyed the veggie croquettes and Niku ramen (sliced beef and onions). Also they have a selection of cheesecakes for $5- took home and enjoyed yam cheesecake (not pictured).
So yummy and comfortable, warm and inviting atmosphere on a cold winter day.
The server was very friendly. We had the caprese salad, which was very good, and two of the fresh fish dishes. The monk fish was alright, but the other fish was amazing. The washrooms were not on par with other restaurants this level. But overall the experience was great.

Food here was tasty, but not extraordinary. I feel like for what you pay, the dishes were a bit on the blander/simpler side - there was nothing that really stood out to me. The restaurant itself was nice and the service was great, though! It’s a nice place to have dinner with friends or go on a date.
The staff are extremely friendly! Always so welcoming and provide great service. The food is amazing too.

Very few Indian restaurants serve up food that is not only fresh but tastes like home made food; that’s exactly what you will find at mother India. Authentic homey flavours that always arrive hot and consistent in quantity and quality. Highly recommend the food!
While this place may be on the smaller side, don't be deceived by its size. The food here is nothing short of delectable, offering an authentic taste that satisfies even the most discerning palate. Not only was the service fast and friendly, but the dish that stole the show was the mouthwatering lobster. Its flavorful goodness left me craving for more. Although each lobster originally cost $35, we managed to get a special deal where we got two lobsters for $67. $3 off 😊 Excited about this offer, I asked the server if we could have two different kinds of sauce for our lobsters, to which they gladly agreed. However, when we received the bill, I was surprised to see that we were charged $35 for each individual lobster. It turns out that if you opt for two different sauces, they charge you the regular price of $35 per lobster, but you receive larger lobsters instead of two smaller ones as part of the deal. I wish the server had informed us about this upfront instead of springing it on us at the end. Nonetheless, the extra cost for larger lobsters was worth it in my opinion. Without a doubt, I will be returning here whenever that irresistible lobster craving strikes again.
Not enough value for the amount you pay. I would rather eat at home. The portion has very little meat and is mediocre at best. Our dessert was hard as a rock with freezer burn. I live right beside it and most likely will not be coming back
A really fabulous seafood restaurant really great service our server Dimitri was outstanding. He gave us time to select our drinks, order our appetizers, main courses etc. The seafood was so fresh and tasty. I usually go to their other restaurants Chiado and Salt all highly recommended. Perfect for a date night, with friends or a special celebration.
Our family went here for dinner during peak time and waited for about 30 minutes but it was so worth it. The food was delicious and the service was great. Within minutes of ordering, we were already enjoying our salads. I ordered the small chicken souvlaki dinner and it was a generous size. Loved the tzatziki. Will definitely be back!

Great experience. Service was over-the-top excellent. Very personal attentive servers. Great value for the food - great portion, delicious and drinks were well priced. No complaints. At the end, they gave my friend and I free desert. Very classy. Our first time here and we were fortunate to pick a great restaurant.
Came on a date night and was pleasantly surprised by this hidden gem in the heart of downtown. Service was amazing! Staff was helpful choosing menu items that were authentic, met our preferences and were safe for dietary restrictions (gluten-free). Would highly recommend!
If you are craving Chinese food with seafood options, this is the place to go. Spicy Lobster is something we always go back for. Don't expect much in terms of service or atmosphere, but food is hands down one of the best for the price they have.
Ordered the vegetable curry pad Thai and it was delicious 😋 large portion and filled with lots of vegetables. It was flavorful and not too spicy either. Would recommend it! Can't wait to try other dishes!

Puis on a testé le pad thai classic et le curry pad thai, les deux en végétarien, c'était très bon, les portions sont généreuses. Leurs cocktails sont pas mal aussi. Le restaurant est chic mais convivial, déco sympa avec des vraies plantes (je déteste les plantes artificielles). Je recommande!
We went in on a Saturday evening, the place was a bit empty for dining in but there was a line for take out. The food was served quickly, there is always a server lurking around, you barely get time to socialize and relax. They let you pick where u wanna sit, as soon as you sit the menu is given to you. They basically stood there and waited while you are deciding. The portion of food is huge, and the food was very tasty.
Both steak and fish came with generous portion and the food was good. Steak tasted rich but was a bit below my expectations given the restaurant’s reputation and its price. Seafood was good. Mushroom had too much wine cooked into the taste so that it’s a bit too much. They don’t have Margarita in menu but they made one for me which was really nice.

Typical Greek restaurant decor but hey it works. Our waiter was awesome, he was friendly, made small talk, could be entertaining, and didn't come by excessively, basically what a waiter is supposed to be. The food was all incredible. The dips were great, they tasted like home. The grilled calamari and octopus were fresh and perfectly grilled, they were tender. We ordered two different fish plates, each one was perfectly seasoned and cooked, the fish were the stars of the show. The lamb chops were tender and beautifully marinated, I could have eaten these all day. I will be going back and I would highly recommend you give Pantheon a try.
I have been coming here over 5 years and it remains the greatest Indian establishment I’ve been to in Canada. The staff are professional, kind and knowledgeable. The menu is large including both vegetarian and non vegetarian options. Perfect for a cute date or just a simple takeout order.

We ate here for a late night snack. Ordered the chicken yellow curry and mango sticky rice. Their curry was good, although I wish the dish had more chicken portions. Their mango sticky rice isn't the usual sticky rice you see where the rice is white and the mango is served separately. It's all mixed together and had cashew nut toppings.

I was expecting the pineapple friend rice to come in a pineapple.🍍 While it did not, it was still plated beautifully. The pineapple hunks in this dish were enormous. They use real pineapple here, none of that canned stuff. The shrimps were seasoned well and plentiful.

Visited this place back in 2022 Nov and haven’t got time to write review about this place. But even after so long, what stays on my memory is the food is overpriced and not even tasty. The worst dish of the night is the soup (and we ordered two because we were sharing among 4 people). The soup is very watery and so blend. We only tasted a little and just send it back. But the sever didn’t ask what happened.

Ordered via Uber Eats and we couldn’t have been happier with all the dishes! So fresh and delicious. Hugely appreciated their care to accommodate allergies. Can’t wait to go experience it in person now. We will be regulars.
Delicious thai food. Tried the green curry, fried rice and some appetizers. This place probably has one of the best cooks out of several locations I've been to. The spice is perfect for my taste and of course Green curry was out of world. All flavours of food are top notch.

Ordered a few dishes to dine in. Sweet and sour pork and stir fried mix vegetables with garlic tasted good but their fried chicken with lemon sauce was a let down. There pieces of meat is only 50% chicken and another 50% bread crumbs. Felt a bit cheated and taste was so so. Overall experience was alright but won't be back again. There are better chinese restaurants here around Chinatown.

Anytime we hit the Danforth we always like to stop in at Megas Restaurant 80% of the time as our favourite place. Perfect for patio weather to stop in and take a break. We have been coming here for years and enjoyed the atmosphere. We were greeted and seated. Ordered drinks to start off and they were great. We got there right before busy dinner rush. We decided to order a spread of appetizers and enjoyed everything that came out. Only thing was that the chicken souvlaki didn’t come with tzatziki. We asked right away 2 times and it never came. Both the kitchen and server I guess didn’t catch it by the time it came out to the table. My only advice is when you have a lovely host, they should be circling the area to make sure customers have everything they need. Will have to try other places on the Danforth to maybe change things up and spread it around. Overall great restaurant and food was on point.

Food - Their menu has the standard japanese food you usually see at others. There are a few items that have their own twists, such as the teriyaki fries. I got the dynamic roll, and unexpectedly, it was larger than I was used to. I prefer smaller rolls to fit into my mouth.

Greek craving satisfied!! What a homey, authentic and delicious experience! We went on a Friday at around 8pm, and had a feast. The grilled and fried calamari were to die for- best calamari in the city! Don’t waste your time anywhere else. The dips were amazing too. The menu was so pleasantly overwhelming, we wanted to order everything.
Some people on the table had the lamb rack and really enjoyed it too.
Be mindful that the portions are huge, and you’ll want to order everything!

We were greeted by a friendly staff and were seated quickly. We ordered scallops and the lamb chop dinner. It came with salad and sides of potatoes and rice.
The rice tasted funny and the scallops weren't cleaned very well. The Lamb chops and the salads were good. For the price, we expected better.

Really good ramen! We prefer another place as our go-to ramen spot, but this is a close second. Also helps that it is walking distance, so we will be coming back frequently.

Everything was delicious and the portions are very generous. Prices are reasonable with the exception of the calamari appetizer, which costs more than the entree. Unfortunately, the food took a long time to arrive and they forgot to bring out the appetizer, but the server was sincerely apologetic. Overall, I will order again, because the food was so tasty.
I ordered the large spicy miso ramen bowl. It was pretty large, however the noodles seemed like they were extremely soggy and they almost had no taste to them whatsoever. The egg was actually cold inside the bowl, the seasoning for the broth was actually quite good. I've had better bowls of ramen in many places before this, it might have been on end of the day kind of a thing where they were running out but this is up to the restaurant to rectify. The waitresses were incredibly nice, the price for an extra large bowl of ramen with tip comes up to about $22 or so which is on the high side.
