Food was awesome. Great atmosphere and service. Nostalgic! We had a blast. Very busy and we were able to get a spot at the bar. Able to grab a drink while you wait. Loved the raw oysters and all the unique sauces, boiled shrimp and corn on the cob also amazing.

This review is for the stressed vacationing parent worried about dinner; I’m a very impatient and skeptical person. Went here for lunch with my wife and 7 year old today. Had a 30 minute wait for the table, but they made that wait easy. You are able to grab drinks (self serve) and cruise the gift shop inside, or hangout on the patio. They have some fun patio games. Food took a little to come out because they were so busy, but was worst it. A being able to self serve and relax makes up for that wait. Plus, the steamed shrimp were INCREDIBLE. Way better than another unnamed raw bar not far away. Oysters were great also. We spent way more than $20-$30 a person, but you could spend that much and be satisfied. Maybe less if you share - steamed shrimp is enough for two moderate eaters. Ignore any negative comments; pull up, hang out, enjoy the food. It easy to relax here and pause the clock of vacation.

Casual local eatery, been open 100 years, blue collar clientele. Ultra-clean restrooms. Pour your own beer. Steamed shrimp and gumbo A+. Stuffed shrimp too salty/ greasy. Prompt service and food arrived quickly.
This is the place to eat when in or around the Port St Joe/Apalachicola area. The live music outside, the chairs and welcoming environment, the games, the staff and most importantly the food. The honor system with the coolers, so that you're never waiting on a drink, impressive that it's still done like this. The Crab legs and the peel and eat shrimp were perfectly steamed. Been coming here for years and will continue to do so.

Really enjoyed the baked oysters!! Also had the smoke mahi dip and that was delightful. Cheesecake wasn’t my favorite but we weren’t going there for dessert.

Emily was the best and I appreciate how diligently the staff works! I’ve never been to a restaurant that goes by the honor system but it was incredibly productive!

Thank you!!

It’s always a good time here! Very casual, welcoming atmosphere with lots of locals.
Delicious, fresh seafood and super friendly service. Love that you can self-serve your drink options from the cooler and then tick off what you enjoy on the drink card. We had 2 lbs of steamed shrimp, stuffed shrimp, crab legs and 2 dozen raw oysters. We ate 4 sleeves of saltines, which are complimentary along with a big roll of paper towels! NO! We didn’t eat the towels. They know their food is finger-linking good!! YUMMY

While visiting the area we stopped here to eat based on recommendations from a friend. Let me tell you - we will be back! Oh my gosh the food was fresh and cooked to perfection. My only feedback is on the food is related to the burger - it was over cooked and just blah, however we were there for the shrimp and oysters so that does not sway my rating.

Service was good. At first I was a little lost and confused on how to order and what to do. No one takes your order they give you a slip of paper with the available items listed and you mark how many of each you want and take it to the cook.

The place is small but they do have outside seating. We went just before 2:00 so we only waited 15 minutes or so to be seated.

When you are put on the list they give you a paper to track whatever you take from the cooler and they ring you up at the end.

We ordered the baked oysters, peel and eat shrimp and stuffed shrimp. We ate almost every bite of our food. The food was oozing with flavor and freshness.

We will be back in the area in June and already talking about going back.

I really enjoyed this spot! It's got a great history & a clever self-serve honor system I'm never seen before at a small local bar. I thought it was a unique take for the alcohol, but not so much for the "menu." It's a score card where you just check off your order & hand it to the server. It's very limited description of simple menu items, so there's a kind of "cross your fingers" this will be good feeling.
I will say the oysters were great & I was pleasantly surprised how much I enjoyed the cheeseburger. The real star was the gumbo, though! LOVED IT! My only issue was the menagerie of hot sauces & condiments on the table. It's not unusual for a raw bar, but these were scarily foul. No lids & discolored liquids in HEAVILY crusted bottles with no labels. I'm just weird about things like that. STILL WORTH A STOP. Good beer selection & cool atmosphere. Don't forget to try the gumbo!

On a recent vacation, my husband and I went to Krazyfish Grill twice! Once we dined in then got carryout. Patio is dog friendly, and they will bring out a water bowl for your pup! Fish/shrimp tacos were so good!

Shannon made our visit AMAZING! The restaurant was busier than usual, but she made it worth the wait. Her sense of humor and attentiveness to our needs were beyond expectations. She served us on the dog patio and even made sure our loud golden was taken care of.

Great food and atmosphere! Shrimp 🍤 grouper, fries and cheese grits are great 😃 made with Gouda cheese. Tartar sauce is good too. Loved sitting out on the enclosed deck with the windows opened. Servers and staff are excellent 👍

This is a very comfortable place. Laid back atmosphere and very good food and service. Breakfasts are reasonably priced. It says raw bar, but it's a lot more than that. Great seafood!

Don’t sleep on this place!! This was the best breakfast and lunch we had in all of Bay and Gulf county so far! Omelette was delicious and waiter gladly customized it for me. Was utterly surprised with how the hashbrown casserole turned out and it was delightful. All food came out within minutes (granted it’s off season rn for tourist). Thank you for the great service!

Beautiful atmosphere and the food and service was impeccable. I had the Jalapeño Margareta and it was absolutely the best Margareta I've ever had. I would highly recommend this wonderful establishment. Fun, friendly and the food and drinks was so good that I'd give 10 stars 🌟 if I could.

We visit Port St. Joe a couple of times a year. We tend to eat at locations a bit closer to where we stay, but after being disappeared with some old favorites, we decided to drive a little further out to Shipwreck. I'm SO glad we did. The grilled shrimp, garlic rosemary potatoes, salad, and stuffed mushrooms were all delicious. This will be our new stop-in for grilled shrimp (our favorite way to have shrimp). The mixed drinks were great too. Atmosphere is fun and laid back, and service was friendly and timely. Thank you!

We had a late lunch in the off season. Our server Magnolia was wonderful and has a future as a comedian. The rum runner and the rice bowl (with shrimp) was great...the boss had the shrimp and grits and raved about them...highly recommend this place.

When I planned my vacation this year I placed Krazyfish on my list of potential eateries that I would fall back on if something fell through with my plans for another restaurant. That happened today and boy am I glad. Great meal! We tend to dine early so they were not terribly busy when we arrived and were seated immediately. I began with a really good Bloody Mary. I had the Captain Krazy's Seafood platter. The fried shrimp and scallops were fantastic. I was not a fan of their hush puppies but the fish, fries and coleslaw were all good. It was huge and I definitely had to get a to go box. My wife had the shrimp tacos, (sautéed), and a side salad. The shrimp tacos were a first for her and she reported that they were delicious. The service was great! It was a bit pricey but you do have to pay to achieve a quality restaurant experience these days. Overall great experience!

Had a 45 minute wait but that wasn't bad because we had time to explore the area including the lighthouse (sadly it was closed but still got to see it) the server I think was serving the whole restaurant because we saw her when we first got there when we ordered our food and when she brought us our check( someone else brought our food) me 4 year old got the kids cheese burger and gave it 2 thumbs up and a big smile my 9 year old got the kids popcorn shrimp and loved it. My 12 year old got bacon BBQ cheeseburger -the BBQ sauce and it was huge ate almost all of it(he's a picky eater) my 14 year year old got the signature shrimp tacos and loved them. All 4 adults got the shrimp platter I highly suggest. I got blackened shrimp with onion rings and hush puppies the shrimp was great and hush puppies were seasoned so well. My wife got side salad and Gouda grits and Fried shrimp. I DO NOT EAT GRITS!!! But these were amazing. Highly recommend them. Side salad was extremely fresh

My family and I came in on a Monday night and waited an hour for a table. My guess is that staffing was an issue because empty tables could be seen. It took over an hour to get our food for 8 people. Several tables who were seated after us received their food and were leaving before ours was ever served. The food itself wasn’t good - bland and under seasoned. I had pineapple rice with no pineapple to be seen or tasted. No sauce. Other orders were not as expected. I spoke with the manager who was very nice, but expressed my dissatisfaction with the experience overall. If we had only waited for 20 minutes for this meal, it would have been closer to 3 stars but it was two hours total. This place has a lot of potential, but is very subpar and overpriced.

Came here late at night during vacation. Great service and great food. Will definitely return!

*update* we have now visited multiple times and this will be one of our go-to places to eat whenever we are in town. Never disappoints!! The food is SO good. We've never had a bad dish from here. We ate there twice this week because I just had to have it.again before we left town. We will be back soon!

We arrived right at 5pm on a Friday, were seated right away and had our drinks and appetizers in the first 10 minutes! Hot crab dip and smoked tuna dip were excellent. We also really enjoyed our meals of low country boil, steamed shrimp, fried shrimp, deviled crab and fried grouper! Everything was cooked just right. Our server was also top notch...would definitely come here again!

Good food and great service. During tourist season except there to be a line to get in.
