Top Seafood restaurants in Altea, Spain

Great seafood, clearly fresh. The staff gave us great recommendations. A bit pricey, but not more than every other restaurant in the area really. The atmosphere was fantastic.

We followed the recommendation of the waiter and had a great meal. I never ever had such delicious (fried) seafood before.
To visit this restaurant is a MUST DO.

2 very contrasting experiences. 4 of us stopped for drinks late afternoon. The young waiter was excellent, the wine was very good quality, we all really enjoyed being sat outside in the late afternoon sun.
We agreed we would meet there a few days later, Saturday afternoon at 16-00 to repeat the experience. Sat down at an empty table and an older waiter appeared. When we said we just wanted drinks he told us to leave! I could have understood it earlier when people were looking to eat, but at 4pm??!! And with empty tables?! Not a pleasant experience. Won’t be rushing back.

This I noticed was a late-night local hangout was a warmly inviting spot known for serving late night cocktails. During my visits, I exclusively ordered cocktails. While the Sangria I tried was decent, it didn't particularly stand out as something extraordinary as I had at other spots

Stunning restaurant.. oysters magnificent as is the rest of the food here. Not only fish and seafood..a really good steak can be had here as well. Good variety of wine too

Really good place to eat in the paseo marítimo of Altra. Really enjoyed the Habas con Sepia and Erizos de Mar. Service could have been faster But we cannot complain. Need to enjoy the food & relax. Really clean & brand new toilet. In front of the sea. I will be back to eat here the next time I will be visiting Altea! Thanks
