Great seafood in Gloucester! Excellent fish and chips and seafood paella
Our lovely server Janine was attentive and there when we needed anything. I had lazy mans lobster, which was excellent, I don't usually like restaurant French fries, but have to say, theirs was good. They had the best coleslaw I ever had at a restaurant. I make excellent coleslaw so I'm picky. My bf had lobster roll, which he said was stuffed with lobster and excellent.
Sushi is overpriced. There are places with better sushi at half the cost all over town. I got the French onion soup and the size for the price was ridiculous. My salad was ok. I got the goat cheese salad but did not like the dressing. However it was pretty well sized. Overall I think they charge too much for the quality of their food.
The food was fresh and delicious. The atmosphere was laid back but not too much. The prices were higher than $10 to $20. Plenty of parking but I have to say we were here on Sunday. Lobster rolls warm and 8 oz of meat priced $50. The scallops were excellent and the highlight. And lastly the baked haddock was like having thanksgiving flavor with fish.
Hard to say what keeps me coming back to this place. The food is very well prepared but nothing special. The drinks are what you’d expect and fairly expensive compared to other bars in the area.
The atmosphere, though, is excellent; drawing in a crowd from across the narrow demographic spectrum of Cape Ann. If you’re local, you’ll run into people. When the band is playing, the bar transforms into a black hole bringing faces you thought you wouldn’t be able to recognize after so many years.

Got the nachos and they came as a solid mass. Paid a total of $36. Completely inedible and kind of insulting that they would even send that out. wouldn't recommend delivery.
This place is great. loved the food (it's Alot!) and the atmosphere ! Come hungry ..the only thing we regret missing was the Souvenir shop closes at 6pm ,but we will be back !
I was here in September during a gorgeous fall day. Wonderful dinner at the bar in patio out back. Super crowded with great service. Live music was a nice touch to the view and delicious food.
The food was great. Our server was very friendly and patient. The food came out quick and was super fresh and delicious. Portions were big. Definitely what we expected.
The food was delicious and there was a very good selection. All of us were pleased with our choices and they varied quite a lot across the board from sushi to a burger to pasta and children's menu items.

Good crowd on Christmas Eve. Had lobster rolls they don’t have gluten free bun so had on lettuce. Taste was good qty not as much.

I had a hot lobster roll and a cup of clam chowder, girlfriend had fish and chips and we got an order of onion rings to share. The truth is we couldn't finish all the food we got, though not for lack of trying! The portions were so generous, we could have split an entrée and still been stuffed. Chowder was perfectly solid, just a really good, authentic New England clam chowder. The lobster roll was just piled with fresh, tender, juicy lobster meat. It didn't really hold up as a sandwich you could pick up, but that barely matters. The fish and chips was crisp and fresh. And actually the onion rings were a surprising highlight of the meal. They were fresh, you could tell they are cut and battered on-site, and you can tell they do a great job of changing out their fry-oil because they didn't have any of that fishy smell/taste that sometimes happens with places that are frying a lot of fish and other items. Overall the meal was 10/10 for value and quality.
The best sea bass I have had till date. It was perfectly cooked, seasoned, and the butter sauce was flavored perfectly to pair with the fish. Others on the table got the fried platter which was delightful and a seafood soup. The clam chowder had enough clams it it but could've been creamier. All in all, a great experience, would repeat
Always a pleasure to come here for two Brits on vacation. The Coconut Shrimp were to die for as was the Fish and Chips. No matter what you get here it's going to be great. It gets busy because the locals know how good this is. Thank you guys for another great meal. See you next year.
My husband and I stopped in last minute while just coming into town and were greeted with such warmth and hospitality! The staff was so attentive and kind! Now for the food, it was so delicious! I got the fish and chips, which was extremely fresh and flaky without an ounce of grease, and my husband got the lobster grilled cheese, which he loved! We left so full, the portion sizes were extremely generous! The views were incredible as well! If you’re in Gloucester and want a romantic dinner with great food and service, this is the place to go!
Cool atmosphere and the staff was so efficient and kind. We stayed at the hotel as well. Must stay if you are in the area!
Service was incredibly slow- took 40 minutes to take our orders, and longer for the food to come out. The seafood is mediocre and there is much better in the area. Plus, the non-seafood items were disgusting- the burgers were dry and flavorless and the Lemon Garlic Fettucine had a soured flavor, rendering it inedible. Definitely would not recommend, even though it comes up as being somewhere good in Gloucester- there are much better places.
My family from out of state really wanted to try New England style seafood experience. This place did not disappoint. We tried calling ahead after a long day of sightseeing. But told we would have to come in and place our orders which was perfectly fine with us. Ordering at the window went surprisingly fast considering how packed the place was. There was outdoor seating and live music. And awesome views of the harbor. I would definitely recommend this place if you don't mind a busy atmosphere.
The menu is very extensive, everything looked amazing, was hard to decide! I had the halibut and asparagus, it was delicious. The fried calamari for an appetizer was so good. The portions are big, the view of the water and fishing boats was pretty awesome too!
We we’re looking for a lobster (lobstah) roll, and we were not disappointed. Although we didn’t get a lobster row. Platters are big!! I got a togo box before I sat down. Can easily feed 3. Yum!!
Made reservations for Sunday no problem being seated on the patio which had an absolute gorgeous view. Our waitress was very attentive. I was confused as to what Swad fish was, I'm from Georgia so it took a minute to understand Sword fish, we had laughs about that. She was great. First time having lobster roll which was very good, but not seasoned as I would expect but I also think loads of seasoning would hide it's true flavor and freshness. We also had Scallops, Haddock, clams and shrimp. Everything was wonderful.
I was just walking, saw the place and ordered two lobsters for $32, they were cooked fast and tasted great. I stayed in outside sitting area, with very atmospheric view of fishing boats and the water. I think the entire area is renovated, all tables, chairs, umbrellas looked new.

The portions were HUGE. The kids mac and cheese was adult sized and also came with three huge scopes of ice cream.
The seafood pasta was also enormous filled with multiple shrimps, scallops and whitefish along with mushrooms and sundress tomatoes.
Both the chicken fingers and pasta were fairly bland which is why I gave a four rating for food. With the pasta it allowed the fish to be the highlight but it would have been nice to have some flavor.

A great place to dine. Great parking, beautiful views and comfy seating, especially if you get a booth. We were greeted at the front and shown to the table. Very friendly and efficient staff. Our server was very prompt, refilled our water and drinks quickly and it was important as it was a hot and humid day. Several members of our party including myself had the haddock sandwich. Stacked high with a nice, thick slice of tomato and a big piece of fresh fish. Overall a great meal and great service. A terrific place on a warm day. A must go if you are in the area.
Great seafood restaurant in Gloucester. There was live music, great drinks, and delicious food. We got the fisherman’s platter, lobster roll, clam chowder, onion rings, and bang bang shrimp. We noticed that everything needed a touch of salt, but over all was very good. My personal favorite were the fried scallops in the fisherman’s platter. This is located right along the water as well. Highly recommend stopping here if you can!
What a delicious place to eat for dinner! My husband and I were very pleased with our food. We ordered the Lobster chowder to share, Cajun swordfish with risotto, and peppercorn steak with mash. Though the food was pricey (it’s a tourist area) and the service started off a little slow it was still a very pleasant dining experience and the food was very fresh!!!
What a treat! We boated to the marina and the staff were quick to get us tied off. We entered the restaurant and were warmly greeted. Our server, Courtney, did a great job and the food was terrific! Try the Bang Bang Shrimp! The burgers and the fish and chips were delicious! Can't wait to come back!

Excellent Service, Food, atmosphere!!! The drinks, appetizers, and entrees were so delicious. They were really busy but still gave amazing service and the Lobster Cobb Salad was Amazing!!! Save room for dessert! They all looked so good but the Oreo dessert was to die for!
We came here after an amazing time at their sister restaurant Maggie’s Farm. This must be the baby sister to Maggie because she didn’t hit it on all cylinders. It might have been because they were so slow that day. I don’t know. The fried food was a little under done and we ran out of tea twice. The server was nice just not attentive. We would be willing to try again, maybe in the evening when it’s more busy.

Very classy place. The service is great. There is a wide variety on the menu. Something for everyone. Love the steak tips, Haddock sandwich, and Haddock rueben. The Caesar salad is great as well. The prices are not on a low scale, but you get what you pay for, and it's worth it. Also, the view is spectacular.

Overall excellent experience all things considered. The appetizers were very good. Drinks were all well poured. Entrees were good with a few misses but nothing major. We happened to have some music as well which was nice. Our server was great.
The view of the docks was spectacular. Green bean salad was divine and I could eat their damn bread all day. Crusted Haddock was otherworldly. I had to be carried out to my truck😜Server was sweet & edgy..totally belonged there; attentive & knowledgeable about the menu. Beautiful space..Can be chilly in the dining area due to windows I’m assuming..bring a sweater🤍
We ate here twice on our vacation. The food was beyond amazing! I had the Lazy Man Lobster which was to die for. The fried haddock, fish and chips, and crab cakes did not disappoint. The staff was friendly and the place was clean. The main dinning room area had a beautiful view of the mashland. I would highly recommend eating here. Worth every penny!

I have 2 suggestions though: the lobster roll was too small for a $40 tag. Secondly, the entrance of the resturant could be made a little more fancy to make it look upscale.
Other than that, I truly recommend this place for folks looking to have a meal in Gloucester.

We had a great friendly server and great outside seats. The fried scallops were amazing as was the tartar sauce. French fries cooked perfectly. The calamari was cooked perfectly ant the “dipping sauce “ was awesome. I prefer Mexican corn off the cob but this tasted good. This place is very reasonable.

The fries were hot and crispy.
