The area is clean. The area is Avaragely good.
Fine for Quick escape to relax.
Not bad for some group activities, or group bonding. Cottages are a bit old. . But okay. Close and open cottages available. Parking lot is not a problem. Can do overnight. Can bring your own speaker. Tindahan is available inside. . You can also bring your tent

The accomodation is okay. But I hope the area is more clean. The rest was very good.

I like the their price and the fact that you can swim without getting a cottage however they don't offer overnight.
Nearest to the seaport of Babak District of IGACOS. Affordable resort hotel. Environment friendly. Has better facilities to cater relaxing clients. Barricaded shoresline to enjoy boating activity, beach swimming and a swimming pool to enjoy. Small kids need parental attention. The place has a good restaurant atmosphere. I would love to be back again.
I've visited this place twice and I can only rate it 3 stars because I don't really love it, but I don't hate it either.

Here's a list to help you decide:
- If you want a peaceful vacation, this can be the right place. The first time we came here we were only about 3 different groups and the place was huge. Second time, it was only our family.
- If you want crystal blue waters, there's definitely OTHER resorts you can try. The corals on this side of Samal looks dead.
- The water you can use on their bathroom to wash your body off is also from the sea. A big NO for me.
- For lodging, we haven't tried because it look small. For the two different occasion that we stayed here, we only rented the cottage and brought ourselves tent.
- Affordable, as it should. There are other great resorts near the Port but there are a lot of people too so, the price you pay for going this far into Samal and not meeting a lot of other people is just fair.
the place is ok. their staff is friendly. CR just needs to be developed
Staffs are friendly. But toilet maintenance is bad. Exhaust fan not working. No hooks to hang your towel. Nor a place to put your soap. Neither on the pool common shower. Pool side, a bit risky as the pathway does not have a barrier from a steep fall. Have limited drinks and took sometime to serve food in their resto.
We love staying in this resort and we just keep on coming back! The service is always amazing. We actually just had our son's first birthday and our guests had an awesome time as well!

PS. Food they serve is super yummo as well 🙂

Staying in Punta de Gloria has been a dream come true for me. I have been making plans to take my two children and my mother to Samal. Our goal is to give them a chance to relax and have some fun after a long year of studying and working. We all need a break. I am extremely pleased that we chose to have our staycation at your resort. Thank you very much for the excellent service your staff provided. We would also like to express our gratitude to the Manager for her warm and welcoming attitude towards us. Thanks also to the owner for accommodating us. Much gratitude. 😘❤️ DAGHANG SALAMAT.
Big clean rooma good for 4 person. Nice view. Stairs leading to the beach has 100+step

what I can say is that their cottages are cheap but they are a bit rough because they shake when you move around and then their entrance fee has gone up because of the lockdown.then their cr is a bit ugly. that's all but over all ok. we enjoy the sea better at night because the air is very cold then it's not hot.
went here with labedab.

The place is great and the timing is excellent, it was serene during weekdays. 😌
This resort is averagely good if you want a quick escape from the city. This is near from Babak barge and quite affordable.
Please be responsible of your wastes and respect the place.

Rates are posted below.
The staffs are very accommodating, the surrounding is so clean,
the owner is a nice guy, and very affordable resort to chill & relax... Walking distance from the Barge Wharf, worth to visit.
It was a beautiful place to stay & enjoy with your family & friends. The place is very clean & spacious bed each rooms.
We’re here today. The view is good and some of the crew are friendly. They said we were the first guest for the day yet they gave us a room with toilet problems (no flush - needed to manually fill the bowl, close to none - water in the sink faucet and the shower leaks together with the toilet bowl when filled with water) I somehow would like to believe they gave us the best room because other rooms might be more problematic but if that’s the case… there’s really a big problem.

Good place to relax, chill and don't need for a transportation when walking in without a vehicle. In special holidays, need to book ahead to make sure. The only thing is the facilities are not yet fully developed and you need your own things.
Always ask locals for the location. I like how private the place is and you can have a good time with your friend or family
I've been to Punta de Gloria several times and each time was a fun and memorable one.

I love their friendly and helpful staff. The ambience of the rooms, restaurant & outdoor areas are superb! The food are yummy especially their tinolang native manok.

My barkada and I celebrated our Christmas Party there and we had a blast! The management accomodated our request for the place to be decorated based on our theme and it turned out more than what we expected.

I definitely will go back again.

Highly recommended! 😊
My friends and I had such an awesome time in this gem of s place. We wanted a private hideaway to hold our annual get together for our group and this place fit the Bill. 😍

Food was great, our rooms were sparkly clean and so spacious, staff were super attentive, and management catered to all requests. Best of all, the presidential villa afforded us much privacy to go crazy 😁

Thank you Punta De Gloria for this amazing experience, keep up the good work! 👍👍👍
Perfect place for barkadas and family bandings but My concerned is the comfort room we are not satisfied

This is one of the best beaches in Penaplata. We spent a lot of time here. The shore is clean though the giant rocks on the shore is quite challenging.

I’m impressed about this beach resort, it’s perfect to get away from the stressful city life! The hosts are very friendly and pleasant, everything is clean and the food is amazing, especially the boodle fight!!!
I‘m sure to come back, you should try this place when you are in Davao.
We went on a Monday, so pretty much feels like we owned the place for a day. Waiters are really polite esp kuya Lifeguard💯

We stayed in villa 2 or 4 (can't remember), priced at 6,000 for 8 pax (no breakfast), but it has air-conditioning unit for both rooms, Kitchen/lounge has one too. Overall place is good! Food is meh (quite salty), but okay.

Oh, just wanted to note, you better buckle up as it is bit of a rough road and steep going here.

We were supposed to stay in Punta de Gloria for 3D 2N but we refunded our 2nd day, and transferred to another resort.

They charge you ₱3,000/night at the Sea Escape Room, but we felt that what we paid for was NOT WORTH IT. Here's why:

1) They can improve a little more in terms of being responsive on their Facebook Page. It'll take you hours, if not plenty of minutes before they respond.

2) The room was not clean, you will notice ants crawling in the bed. They said they did everything to treat the ANTS but they still come back.

3) Night of our stay, there was a POISONOUS CENTIPEDE that crawled in the bed. 🥲

4) There was a DEAD LIZARD in one of the shelves. 😫

5) EVERY PILLOW HAD MOLDS - either on the side or the whole pillow itself. 😭

6) The towels were torn at the edges.

7) CR was not clean too, it had dead insects in each corners.

8) Water pressure was not enough for you to use the hot shower. Flush was not working as well, we had to use "tabo" for flushing. Typically we won't be bothered kasi cowboy naman kami, but we remembered we paid a lot for the room.

9) The beach also had no shore, your feet will land on shells, the steps going down the water and that's it. No shore. I'm curious if it was just because of high tide? I'm not sure.

10) We requested for late checkout because we need time in securing our next place to stay. Honestly we were shocked at the idea that we had to transfer to another resort considering EVERYTHING WAS ALREADY ORGANIZED before we arrived in Davao. To our surprise, they said they cannot allow us to checkout late because there will be GUESTS THAT'LL OCCUPY THE ROOM AFTER US - mind you, we were supposed to stay for 2 nights. Super frustrating! 😣

11) Breakfast was continental - 3pcs of loaf bread, butter, sunny side up egg, instant coffee and bananas. At 7am we tried to order extra food because this will not suffice for breakfast, but they said their resto will open at 12:30pm so we had to wait 5 more hours to be full. Food prices were too high too, considering its serving size. 😔

12) When we went up to their resto for our Final Lunch, we were offered NO APOLOGY. The owner was there too, but only talked to us about the "uphill battle" on the 100+ steps we had to endure to exit the resort. It's just sad.

Before we went there, we stayed at the resort beside them (Villa Amparo) priced at ₱3,500/night but their service WAS WAY BEYOND what we paid for they also had affordable meals (₱150 - 300 depending on your order). We only transferred at Punta de Gloria coz we wanna try out different resorts in Samal.

I think the only thing that was notable here were some of their people - like the guy who will assist you with your luggage and the manong who delivered our breakfast. I'd say SOME of their staff is great and they tried their best.

Going back to their Facebook Page, it was nothing like what they presented it there. I felt like we wasted one day out of the limited time we had when we visited Davao last Aug 2022. This was truly a TRAUMATIC EXPERIENCE for me. I won't be coming back here unless they make MAJOR CHANGES to their resort. I suggest you spare yourselves from the trauma. 🙅🏻‍♀️

We only had a brief stay here since we just checked how the beach resort was doing. The beach is really nice just like how Isla Reta is. I think that that is the case for every beach resorts located in Peñaplata.

They have themed cottages like the Igloo type which really put up the spice for beach resorts~
Sadly they don't offer meals to eat, like the one in Paradise Beach Resort where you could just order a meal then eat, then leave the place.

Summing it up, the place is cozy and a nice place to stay. Good for a budget friendly beach resort.
Incredibly peaceful place, with an air conditioned main bedroom and open beds on the upstairs balcony. Helper staff were incredibly friendly and prepared amazing meals
nice place... clear water.. and approachable staff
it's a great experience accommodation wise..dont need to travel far is one of the perks

Very cozy place for a staycation. Indeed, it is a paradise in earth.
Friendly staff, affordable Room/Cottage and entrance rate and the cleanliness is always well-maintained. It's not a luxurious nor a fancy resort but if you are in a very tight budget and you just want to go the beach, relax and unwind with your family and or friends, this resort is a great place to stay and enjoy.
Overnight stay comes with day tour at island buenavista before not sure now

Nice place to spend a day with friends and family. Very clear water. Nice to take pictures. We enjoyed alot.
Literally rocky but the beach is so so so amazing! Needs improvement for their customer service. The rooms need repair and renovation. Overall, your stay will not be as great as when you're staying in a resort in Talicud but it will be ok. It's cheap though. We dug out shells at dawn (12am to 3pm) and we felt safe. If you want activities like that, then, it's the place to be.
Relaxing and beautiful cirals

Clear Waters, Serene Place, Cheap Entrance Fee, but Dirty and Poorly Maintained Coastline.

Bring your powerbank. 20-50 php electrical charging fee (not included w/ entrance fee of php 25 pesos (daytour) 50 php overnight).
I love this place to the max. It is a good place for peace and quiet ambiance. It was very relaxing because it was never crowded ❤️, they limit their guests.
Rooms are very clean and well-maintained and it is affordable given the private and exclusive-feels it offers. The team is very accommodating and they really take care of everyone 😘.
Board games and card games are available and free of charge!
IF I COULD RATE 0 STARS I WOULD, Had a bad experience and had to leave. EMPLOYEES WERE RUDE!
great beddings, cozy place

Nice beach and the house have a lot of beds but only 2 rooms.. although at night it's cold so no need for aircons.. only downside is the road which is pretty bad and far but not a big deal as long as you don't have to come and go often..
Great place. Great sandy beach. Great coral garden in ocean for snorkeling. About the best beach you could imagine.
2 bath and shower areas acceptable for Filipinos but not what a spoiled American hopes for.
Fantastic place for swimming and spending time with loved ones.
Very nice place for overnight stay for families. Very nice ambience, cozy sleeping villas

Very affordable and you can swim without getting a cottage just pay the entrance.Last time I came it's only 15 pesos.Just a walking distance from the port.
Place was great, it's just that we didn't had water on faucet and bathrooms on our villa the entire night. Such hassle but we're supplied with water from containers. The water got back right after in the morning. Overall nice place and great people.
Everthing is great except the beach. The facilities are amazing with 11 beds and a videoke even if its not free its still fun

Isla Reta along with its white sand beach is amazing; especially early in the morning. However, the shore gets a little dirty around 10 in the morning due to the current bringing in floating debris. Also, the menu is rather plain and predictable. I don't recommend staying in overnight because the 900 pesos house is not really accomodating, and that's saying a lot because it is their "most expensive" room/cottage. All in all, the resort is a good place for an affordable white sand beach resort.
