Beautiful place to see mountains, Vancouver skyline, & have picnic. Parking is very limited though. Great views. Perfect spot to relax.
I come here often when I visit Vancouver. So many different things going on every day. Very beautiful place to walk!

Nice beach for the northwest . It is a normal rock beach you find up here in the pacific northwest. A good place to watch sea planes and ships come and go. With downtown Vancouver to the east and a sun set to the west in the summer months. Can be a little windy .

I would say the view is absolutely gorgeous and peaceful . If you wanna get some air or clear your head perfect place to be .
This park is one of the best spots to view the sunset in Vancouver. It's best to visit on a sunny day or at least when the sun is somewhat visible. The beach exudes a cheerful and relaxed vibe, perfect whether you want to unwind alone or with friends. The park is well-maintained and offers picturesque views. Not only is the beach clean, but the entire area has a royal feel to it.
However washroom area has its own complaints:(
I might return to this park, especially when visiting from Seattle.

Great place to go for a walk, the whale bones pictures I posted are actually a series of measurements of a circle that mean...something!

Sunset Beach Park is so clean and absolutely beautiful. It's the perfect spot to just chill and enjoy the incredible sunsets. Everything's well-kept, making it super inviting. Love coming here to relax and take in the views. It's a peaceful escape with amazing scenery

It's a nice point to ride to on a bike n it's the furthest beach west except for Wreck Beach ⛱️ if you don't want to do Wreck Beach. Was here last year or the year before when it was low tide n that was a great experience. It's very rocky from the path but it gives great solitude with a view of some of the nearby activities. Last time, there were ppl who were learning to 🪁 surf. If you enjoy less crowds n more space n don't mind the rocks, then this is the place to be.
The bubble family made our visit spectacular today!!! We hope to run into them again when we visit from Northern BC. Such a great place for a family walk & adventure all times of the year!

One of the best places to view the sunset in the city, along with being a popular beach/park. It is a great spot to unwind and do beach or water activities in the downtown area.

Parking may be limited so it is recommended to come by transit/bike or on foot.

Best part is the picnic area with a scenic view. The beach itself is all rocks with no sand. There are two bathrooms which is nice except they're right by the picnic area.

There is a short trail to the start of wreck beach, although a long rocky walk to actually reach the main area of wreck beach.

I can’t believe places like this exist, because it’s so gorgeous to be here, this makes me proud for me to be in Vancouver, this beach is so beautiful because at sunset, the sky becomes orange so you can see the beautiful sunset while looking at the ocean

This is a quiet happy place in Vancouver. I've visited à feu weeks ago and was enchanted by its beautiful sand beaches. It is surrounded by trees and you can enjoy the company of many ducks and goose. Unfortunately also a lot of noisy crows around but the place is still pretty peaceful.

I love walking to this beach from UBC. The views of downtown Vancouver, North Vancouver and snow clad peaks are amazing. Perfect place to visit on any weather and have some relaxing time. I love watching sunset from this place, having small picnics with friends, great for BBQ as well. The beach is a bit rocky.
I highly recommend visiting this serene beach.
