I wanted to share the incredible care and support Sunshine Day Care has provided to my daughter, during her time at the 5th ave center. Sunshine has truly been instrumental in her development, and I cannot thank you enough.

From the moment we walked through the doors, she was welcomed with open arms by her teachers in the Lions classroom, Ms. Andrea and Ms. Beyonce. Their love and kindness created a warm and nurturing environment for her to thrive in. They went above and beyond to ensure she felt safe and loved every single day. We did not have a good experience at our previous daycare (Pequenines) and were anxious about her transitioning to a new center, however, our concerns were met with love, kindness, respect and more importantly with open communication.

As my daugheter progressed to her second classroom, Ms. Shekeema and Ms. Jasmine continued to shower her with affection and guidance. Their dedication to her growth and wellbeing was evident, and she blossomed under their care. Their commitment to creating a loving and supportive atmosphere was truly remarkable.

I would also like to acknowledge the outstanding work of Jill and Alexandra the director. Their constant communication with families, responsiveness, and warm smiles made a world of difference. Jill was always there to address any concerns or questions we had, and their genuine care for each child and family was palpable. I am truly grateful for everything they have done for us.

Throughout my daughters time at Sunshine, she had the opportunity to engage in a variety of enriching activities. From soccer to Spanish lessons, dance classes, and a visit from the petting zoo, her days were filled with excitement and learning. It was incredible to witness her grow and explore new interests each day.

Our time at Sunshine has been absolutely wonderful, and we will miss everyone dearly. The impact you have had on my daughter’s life is immeasurable, and we will forever be grateful for the love, care, and guidance she received. You have created a truly exceptional environment for children to thrive, and I cannot recommend Sunshine 5th Ave enough.

My son goes to Kindergarten at the Forest School and I have nothing but wonderful things to say about this program, the teachers and the director. My son used to beg me to stay home from school and now he says he loves school and wishes he could live there! I have never seen a school that understood children and their needs better than the Forest School. My son and his classmates in kindergarten spend 70% of the week outside exploring, investigating, learning and sharing. They learn how to appreciate and respect each other and the environment. His teacher Ms.Iannuci entourages the students to ask complex questions, to be attentive observers and good neighbors to the community that they spend a lot of time exploring. Since the school has small class sizes Ms. Iannuci can spend time individualizing the work while cultivating strong teamwork between the students. Every week we get detailed reports on what my son has been working on with pictures of his different adventures. In just a few months my son has built worm homes, studied crickets, watch Red Tail Hawks in Central Park eat lunch, played in the mud, worked on his math, improved his writing and made meaningful relationships with classmates. Dr. Gail Foster should be very proud of what she has created here. This school is absolutely magical, and I am excited to hear the Forest School is planning to serve all of the elementary school grades. I am so happy that my son has started his educational journey in a place that makes him love school. Forest School is a special place that makes kids feel special.

Working with BAHS has been excellent. I have had a wonderful working relationship with Hannah. Hannah’s professionalism, work ethic and guidance lead me to a fantastic family. Her knowledge and patience was instrumental in guiding me throughout the hiring process and her support in counseling me as I left a family that I worked for 10 years.

We love MPC and its commitment to language acquisition, nature exploration, yoga & meditation, healthy food, and no screens. Our child has attended for the last two years and enjoys the daily routines and rhythms. MPC has been a wonderful place for our daughter for the past year and a half. Her teachers are warm, loving, and fun and she's looking forward to seeing them every morning. Some of the aspects we most appreciate from MPC are that kids learn through play, daily nature exploration, and arts. They are exposed to full-time Mandarin, Spanish, and English in a multicultural environment and they are also introduced to yoga, stretching, and breathing exercises every week. The Director makes sure the food provided is nutritious, varied, and high quality, which is also very important to our family.

The school moved to a beautiful new location by Central Park and despite there having been certain setbacks with city regulations, we really appreciated the strong bond within the community of MPC parents and teachers that supported each other during that transition period.

We are very happy at MPC and looking forward to continuing with them in 2024.

Our son has been enrolled at MPC for 6 months and we have been quite happy with the program. Despite the lack of a multi-lingual environment at home our son has picked up a good amount of both mandarin and Spanish speaking skills. The teachers, students and community surrounding the school has been amazing. Highly recommended.

Chruch is kinda herictal, but the community is very nice

Our two kids have attended this daycare. They both started in the Harlem location and my daughter continues attending in the 93rd location. We love the culture and the curriculum (and that everyone takes off their shoes!). MPC offers what we valued the most: outdoor time in a lawn in Central Park everyday, a dual language program (Chinese/Spanish) and a play-based approach to learning. They organize a lot of activities outside the daycare hours so the families have the opportunity to know each other and create community. Our kids love the teachers. We couldn't be happier!

My experience with BAHS has been exceptional. Not only did Elizabeth Burns help me find my unicorn family initially as a Family Assistant; she also advised myself and my employers as I transitioned into a larger role. She is extremely knowledgeable in this field and was able to provide me with the best information- leaving me confident I was in the right position and with the right family. I have worked with other agencies in the past both hiring staff and being placed myself and BAHS has by far the best care for their clients!

Our daughter has been at MPC since she was 9 months old - about 1.5 years now - and though there were some administrative bumps in the road as the program transitioned to its current, brand-new space, our overall experience has been wonderful. The program has an incredible vision for multilingual education supplemented by play-based learning, healthy meals, and daily exploration of nature in Central Park. The teachers are excellent and caring and make really special connections with the children. We feel so lucky to have found MPC, and plan to stay through their Pre-K program.

Our child has had a wonderful experience at MPC for the past 2 years. The bilingual immersion program seemed like the best gift we could give her since we don't speak a second language at home. And it's remarkable to watch her development over the last couple years. She's clearly formed close connections with her teachers despite the new languages. The teachers have been very caring and supportive. They are able to recognize and meet her individual needs, from the transition to daycare when she started as the youngest in her group, to keeping her challenged now as the oldest in her group. We love that they spend a lot of time outdoors in Central Park, focused on nature based play. And it's great that they serve really wholesome, quality food, so I have one less thing to prepare for the day, and so my child is more likely to eat the healthy food that all her classmates are eating. We really valued the vision of the director as she was growing the original 2 room daycare into the program it is now. Even as the program grew, we still feel connected to the community thanks to her efforts. And we are thrilled our daughter gets to stay another year through the UPK program!

I absolutely love BrightStar! As an employee, I have to say that they are very professional, compassionate and always fair. If I ever have an issue, they are always there to help me. I love all of the staff! And they always send me to loving clients. I would recommend BrightStar to anyone who is interested in home care and looking to be a part of an amazing nursing agency.

BrightStar has provided my special needs adult daughter with nursing services for the past year. In the midst of the pandemic, they were able to keep her shifts covered and the quality of the nurses provided has just been fantastic! Management has been amazingly easy to work with. I highly recommend them!

Our son loved sunshine so much! He attended from 6 months up to over 2 yrs old and was excited to go everyday and loved all the teachers there. The whole staff is really loving and dedicated to all the kids and they do so many activities and are really responsive to working on the development of the kids as they grow. We just moved so can't attend anymore but we wanted to give a big recommendation and a big thank you to the sunshine group!

Our son is enrolled in the twos program at BPCNS and is having a wonderful experience. The school is small, class sizes are.small and the students recieve a lot of individual attention. The teachers communicate with us regularly, and keep us abreast of what is happening in the classroom and how our son is developing. The faculty, staff and school community has done a wonderful job during the pandemic and we are grateful to have an opportunity for our son to participate in this program given limited options for social interaction for toddlers. Highly recommend.

Personalized service and caring staff!! BrightStar was able to fulfill my mothers needs for 24/7 care within one days notice. The owner Toby answered all of my questions and calls personally, and was available to speak at all hours. I will definitely be calling them again if the need arises for my dad. Our son has attended Sunshine since he was 4 months old, before and after the declaration of COVID-19 pandemic. His teachers have always been very attentive and caring towards him, he loves going there every single day. The directors are very nice and communicative, and have taken every possible measure to keep the children safe while having fun during these challenging times. The school creates a nurturing and loving environment. We cannot recommend it more!

Our 3-year old daughter has been attending Sunshine since she was a year old. We have been so happy with the teachers and staff at Sunshine -- they are, without exception, caring, professional, and experts in their field. Our daughter loves all of her teachers and has formed close bonds with so many of them. Her day is filled with a variety of activities, play, and imagination. Another big perk is the location: right across the street from Central Park. The classes go outside frequently and play in the grass, and they have soccer classes in the warmer months. We are so happy that we are part of the Sunshine community.

This is a great neighborhood institution. Not only is it a church, but it is a soup kitchen, a shelter, and.upstairs they have a Pre-K program for toddlers and downstairs, a Tai Chi program for seniors. It's a great place with great people who care about their neighbors!

The teachers at BPCNS are experts in their field of play based and developmentally appropriate activities. The students are supported to learn and grow. My sons were given the best possible introduction to school and their curiosity for learning has been fostered.

Our experience at T.H.I.S was excellent!! From the very first day my husband and I loved the welcoming staff. My son loved going there from day one. The teachers were great. He learned so much there, by the time he stared Pre-K, he was more than ready for it. What we liked the most was the nurturing environment, and the strong academic curriculum! The Director was one of the most sweetest and understanding person we had ever met! We felt like his teachers became part of our family! The school has also a very nice, well equipped outdoor play yard, which was very important to us since we wanted our son to spend sometime outdoor as well without having to go out of the school. Overall, very good experience, looking forward to join their summer program as well!!

I had a wonderful experience with this agency. I wanted a certain type of caregiver for my needs and it delivered. Our babysitter came regularly for 2 months. She was punctual, attentive, kind, diligent, supportive and relentlessly patient. I was so lucky that she helped us.
