Reviews

No clinical services are provided. This is not DDS focused resources. Very misleading brand
The Adult Day Services program has been a great help to my family member and me. The staff are knowledgeable, and very tuned in to individual needs and responsive to inquiries and concerns. I recommend this program!
I didn't go there, I called. I only called to ask a question and I did get an answer.
This is an organization that truly lives its values. Employees are heard, respected, and rewarded for service. If you want to work for a mission-driven organization that is helping people all over the area live better lives, Easterseals could be the place for you.

I notice some negative reviews in this space. I don't know how old those comments are, but today's Easterseals is truly inspiring.
The worst place to work
This is a horrible place to work, there is a fat black lady in HR with possibly an associate degree that does nothing. Also there is the horrible HR Manger Tony... waste of good job positions.
I'm a current parent. When moving to DC, I first chose my daughter's daycare, then our apartment, and then where I was going to teach. We have been thrilled with our choice. Our daughter has a heart condition, so we needed the staff to be prepared and vigilant. They definitely are. And they love her and helped her with her transition to daycare after being home with me for so long, which means a lot. At the heart of every parent is the desire for their child to be happy and safe. For various reasons, that can be harder to find for some families. We are so thankful that we found Easter Seals. Our munchkin is happy, safe, and getting so much out of her daycare experience.
Don't be fooled by the name, it's just a typical daycare. (If you child has special needs, I'd encourage you to look elsewhere). Easter Seals uses the daycare to fund it's core programs - that's why it's so expensive, but the quality is just average.

Fairly high turnover (because management is combative and difficult). Though some of the teachers that stay are true gems.
