I had a good day today at the YMCA. Loving the hot tub. I want to get a membership so I can join.

I went to the gym with the intent to mind my own business, train hard and truly focus on personal excellence... As well as helping others when and if possible and not socializing to much... I always treated all with respect and dignity... My membership was canceled for excessive grunting, still shocked by that one...lol Originally, I was going to take legal action, now just letting it go and letting god... I forgive all who judged me before getting to know me, God bless...😇👍😇👍

Signed my daughter up for gymnatics. I signed her up for the little gymmies since she is 3.5. First day of class we were told if the kids didnt listen they would sit with parents for 2 minutes then come back in. If it happened again they would have to leave. I saw my daughter get redirected a few times but she was never sent out. At the 3rd class my daughter wasnt having the best morning and I could tell she wasnt following along but would listen when redirected. After the class the teacher came out and said if it continued she would have to be moved to a mommy and me class. I chose not to return as i knew she would do it again and I wasnt interested in a mommy and me class. They really need to make a 3 and 4yr old class as 3 to 5 is a huge difference. We are talking about kids here most toddlers usually need to be redirected. Sad and disappointed that it didnt work out and i lost out on money. My only other complaint is you cant see very good in the parent section and my daughter would smell weird after being on the mats.

My secretary who I am very close with brought her daughter here for gymnastics class who is 3 years old. The instructor kicked her out for running back and forth to the water fountain. Shes 3 years old. It was the first day. At 3 years old isn't the main point to get rid of the energy? I couldn't believe it when I heard. Really shameful guys.

I had a membership for three years. By year three there monthly fee was more than some yearly gym fees. I saw a commercial on tv if joined back in January enrollment fees would be waived. I called they said they weren't part of the promotion. I recently had a hip replacement and wanted a safe place to walk with the bad weather outside. They said had to pay enrollment fees and sign up for monthly bank installments or pay a daily fee which is more than a monthly fee at some gyms. Horrible way to treat members and former members.

I love this place. The staff is extremely friendly, the child care is reliable and trustworthy, and the facility is very nice. You have plenty of options to choose from between different workout classes to take, swimming in an indoor pool, lifting with a variety of equipment, running on an indoor track, and even indoor racket ball. It's a great facility, and especially nice in the winter time when you don't get outside much. It's very spacious.

Over the years, I have worked out at every type of facility in the area
and I find the YMCA to be one of the best. It offers any age group a variety of fitness routines. The equipment, personnel and physical plant set it apart from most. The entire building is well maintained and I am a stickler for cleanliness. I have utilized the weight room, the women's locker room, the spinning room as well as the yoga and fitness classrooms. The "Y" is constantly updating, whether to install new equipment or for building maintenance. The lounge area with free coffee and tea is welcoming. Membership rates are competitive. Although they do not offer the deep discounts the franchise gyms do, they have more to offer. If you haven't been to the YMCA recently, you should check it out.

Extremely kind and helpful. I've had the fitness center trainers contact me because I was below my goals and they wanted to know if there was anything they could do to help. Desk staff are wonderful--one of them greets me by name every time I come in (REALLY good memory!!).
One of the aquatics coaches (Phyllis) is encouraging, understanding, and makes water workout sessions incredibly fun (I've NEVER had fun exercising before!).
This facility is transgender friendly, as well--As a non-binary transperson I was extremely apprehensive about going there, but I haven't had any issues from staff or members.
I'm glad I made the decision to join!
