Would have left 0 stars if I can! Horrible directions for the bus to the airport. First got told by the 6A bus driver outside of Zara that we need to take the ‘fast bus’ from the train station and refuse to take us on, so we walked 10 mins total the train station and went into find help. Got directions to get the bus at the back of the train station and only to be told by the bus station information desk that there is no bus to the airport and have to walk back to the entrance of the train station.

Absolute joke as it took us 1 hour to get to where we need and limited information online. End up taking the taxi but what a journey. The Camino walk has better directions than going to the airport.
Don't wait at this stop for the airport shuttle bus! There is a sign which tells you to go another 500m towards the main station, but they haven't removed any of the signage to say it's the stop for the 6A bus to the airport, which makes it very misleading. This must be a new development and it might just be temporary (as of 6th June 2024)

Go to the main station instead. It's a 10 minute walk.
Bus to airport was working on 27 May 2024. Less than 10min walk from cathedral. Note that although timetable suggests buses leave every 20min we waited over 35min and some people waited even longer. So make sure you get there with time to spare. Took a little more than 30min with several stops along the way. A bargain at 1 Euro.

Took the bus again but this time from airport to praça Galicia. Only €1 pay to the driver. Clean and comfortable bus best way to the city.
Bus stop to Santiago de Compostela Airport. Takes 6A line which costs €1 per ride (by cash only!). It takes approximately 30-45 min to the airport.

Conveniently located. The timings are good with short intervals. We took this bus to Santiago's Airport

This is a fine bus stop. You wait there and bus 6A comes and takes you to the airport. It has a friendly yellow sign saying take 6A to get to the airport. It is perfect if you are a pilgrim trying to get your flight home.
An dieser Haltestelle wäre eine Informationstafel für die nächsten Abfahrten hilfreich.
The best way to Santiago airport. For 1 euro which you pay on the bus.
There are special stops that are marked with a big yellow 6A airport bus stop. Make sure you find one close to your accommodation and then just jump on board

Poco útil , nada cómoda la parada.
It's a bus stop... Does everything it needs to do, shelter from the Galician weather, a screen of departures, and it's well signposted. Bargain €1 to the airport too!

Am I really rating a bus stop? I guess it's better than most. New. Clean. Arrivals monitor. And most important of all, buses.
Buses on-time almost all day. No more than 2 mins delay, in my experience. Totally satisfied, even at this crowded stop
New bus station, but you do have to walk through it and follow the yellow line to get the bus for the airport which is not obvious.
The old station had the airport bus drop off and pick up from the same place.
Despite Google Maps claiming there’s no public transport in the area, there’s a very good bus service between the airport and Santiago de Compostela town centre. Only 1€ each way and the bus stops in town are clearly signed.

Probably the cheapest way to get to Santiago airport, just 1 euro! It was efficient and relatively cheap, drops you right outside the airport. We got the 6A bus outside the main train station in Santiago, the bus itself travels through the centre of Santiago so you can catch it at any point, the journey to the airport is around 30 minutes from the train station.

Yes, this is the proper stop location for the airport bus. It's not crowded in the morning. The fare is 1 Euro. The bus was scheduled for 6.28am, but it reached at 6.38am. The bus driver was quite a control freak and stopped in order to tell me to wear the mask properly...it was ridiculous, especially because all teenagers in the back didn't wear their masks properly.
