I suffer with severe anxiety at the dentist, but thanks to Sonam Vadher I am slowly gaining more confidence. She has been amazing, showing kindness, understanding and patience.
Today, I had some work done and although I was anxious, Sonam and her lovely assistant were wonderful. They kept me calm, explaining everything and constantly checking I was ok.
I was well looked after in reception and they also kept my spirits high, even though they were extremely busy.
Thank you so much to you all, you went above and beyond and I am truly grateful.

Excellent Dentist! I needed a lot of treatment due to neglect/errors from a different Dentist Surgery. High anxiety due to this previous experience, for 8 years.
My new Dentist at Bupa has been great. Treatment plan from first visit, reassuring and understanding. Treatment all done, the level of care was outstanding. The treatment itself was explained well and went smoothly. Unlike my previous experience. I have only been with Bupa Stretton for a few months and my anxiety has reduced already.
Quickly resolved a small issue for my child's teeth. That had been blamed on myself and my child at our previous Dentist, and left unresolved.
Highly recommend Bupa Stretton.

I had an appointment, but had to go into hospital as an emergency. I called up the surgery to inform then and asked if they require evidence of this. They said no it would be alright however, as it's last minute can be classed as late.
Next thing I know, I'm receiving a letter through the post as a later warning. Absolutely flawed.

The hygienist Vicky was fantastic. She completely put me at ease and was very thorough. She explained everything that she was going to do and our plan moving forward

I've had a wonderful experience, multiple fillings, including a large one I didn't think was possible. Every procedure was carried out to the highest level by Vaishali and Tilly. After avoiding the dentist for far to long I'm over the moon to get everything finally sorted. They have helped me get my smile back

Just had a filling today, saw Anita O'connor best filling I ever had!! She was very gentle didn't feel a thing. Would highly recommend.

Just wanted to thank Mohammed for his work on me today. I am a very nervous patient and was not looking forward to having 3 fillings in one session. It turned out I needed 4 fillings as I had managed to damage a further tooth since my previous visit! Both Mohammed and the dental nurse (apologies for not knowing your name) put me at ease, and the work was virtually painless and extremely quick. So thank you both

Outstanding practice, you can not fault them. They make going to the dentist exciting and stress free. One of the few places that help people who work full time by having agile operational hours.

I had a check up earlier on today which included having a crown reattached that had fallen off, Thank you Mr M. Atwal and your assistant, you also had time to give my teeth a good cleaning. superb service, you provided an excellent experience to someone who is normally so nervous. The reception staff were also amazing. Altogether a wonderful practice. Would highly recommend.

After years of fearing the dentist, I have to commend my Dentist Mohammed Suleman! I have been to Mohammed a few times now and he’s absolutely wonderful! Very patient, understanding and caring and he makes every appointment a lot less scary! I would recommend Mohammed to anyone, especially those, like me who are usually scared of dental visits. Also each nurse that has worked alongside him in my visits have been very pleasant too!

Anita O'connor is a good Dentist and puts me at ease being a nervous patient and listens to you if the treatment is hurting.I hope the new owners keep her on when they take over as she's the only NHS dentist I've trusted over the years .

Joined Beaufort Dental Health Centre 6 months ago and it was easy to book an appointment. I had my first appointment with Gail who was friendly and knowledgeable. Gail didn't find any issues but suggested I may need a splint, as I grind my teeth at night. The splint is not cheap at £300 - £400, but it defineitly stops my teeth grinding at night and is comfortable to wear. My teeth now feel a lot stronger through out the day than before and don't experience jaw pain in the morning. Should have got one years ago.

As with a lot of people, I hate going to the dentist. Hadn't been since before lockdown, and in all honesty the one I used to go to were forever cancelling my appointments. Registered here as I had broken a tooth. Have been for a filling today. Vaishali Abbie did my filling. She's so nice and friendly, as all the staff are, and made me feel at ease,

I'm a very nervous patient and the dentist was brilliant with me. She explained what she was doing, how long it would take. I went in for a crown and I'm very happy, the colour is perfect and you would never know it was not my own tooth.

I have been going to Beaufort Dental for 15+ years now, everyone at the surgery is so friendly and attentive. Gail is brilliant at making you feel relaxed. I have recently completed aligner treatment and couldn't be happier with my teeth.

I have been using this dental practice for many years and see Anita. Yesterday I had an emergency appointment with Anita & Faye and the experience was as brilliant as always. The experience was polite and friendly, yet informative and professional. I was made to feel calm and was listened to. My situation was dealt with as I’d hoped and I left feeling happy. Anita is the best dental Dr I have ever been under! Thanks ladies.
My son who has sensory issues also sees Anita and is always happy to go.
I was also impressed with how quickly I was seen as didn’t expect to be.

I was a patient at this practice and I tried to get in for an emergency appointment with severe toothache and facial swelling following a filling that went bad. No appointment was provided and as GP won't deal with dental we had to go back to Bupa stretton to collect antibiotics. This did nothing and my face just swelled even bigger. Contacting them again we were told to give the antibiotics time.
We rang 111 and was advised to go to A&E, when we arrived there my condition worsened and I was transferred to Derby Royal at 3am for an emergency operation.
By the time this was over the swelling was so bad that I was put on a ventilator for 6 days to enable me to breathe while I healed. Then another 5 days in intensive care.
With spending so much time incapacitated I have struggled to walk since.
This is all for a toothache that Bupa refused to look at. When my wife called the practice she received an apology and a promise they would be more diligent in future with toothache. I don't know how they can do this because they won't see anyone.
One week later we received a text cancelling our next routine appointment. Pardon me if I don't say thanks for the service Bupa.
I was told by a nurse at the Derby Royal that they are seeing lots more people with tooth abscesses because dentists are refusing to see them.
I am lucky to be here but that is thanks only to the fantastic staff at Derby Royal.
Despite calling the surgery my wife did not manage to speak to the manager Nor have they bothered to call us to discuss it. Still I suppose there is no answer for this type of bad service.
Look at the last review before mine and you will see how quick they reply when there's private money concerned. I'm now convinced that during the pandemic they are only seeing private patients. Incidentally my trouble started with the dentist suggesting a filling that was unnecessary but said it would save work later. It nearly killed me and I have a possible 2 month recovery to look forward to. If you value your health avoid. Despite a promise of getting in touch they are not in a hurry to give me an explanation why they put me in a position where I nearly died and why they then cancelled my check ups. Unless they can't face me. It's strange too how a review like mine is immediately followed by two first class reviews.
Since posting this and bupa promising to get in touch with me I have had no contact with them. They only seem to have put the reply on here to give the impression they care but they obviously don't. Update..over 2 months now and I had one phone call from bupa which was more of a digging exercise really to find out how far I'm taking it. I was promised another call for last week and got absolutely nothing. Thinking I will make it official now. Its notable that they will admit that mistakes were made over the phone but don't put much in writing. Wonder why?

Update.. I have changed to Private and have seen a marvelous Dentist that had time for me and referred me back to hospital for another checkup.
I pay monthly now and get seen at a nice clean environment with a guarantee of check ups. Don't pay much more and have 24/7 emergency coverage 365 days a year.
One more thing to ponder on:-
Imagine you are in Hospital during a major Pandemic and the medical team visit you at your bedside. The leading man says " You need this operation urgently but I have to tell you that you may catch covid in hospital or I might give you covid. Or you may be put on a ventilator and you may die. I was told I was extremely lucky to be here now. I went on that ventilator but luckily I survived but someone one day may not.

Just a update Bupa have not resolved this with me no matter what they say. I have had conversations and promises that it was being dealt with. It now looks like a time wasting exercise so I have no chance of making a claim against them. Any records I had with them disapeared.
They don't really care, they stopped talking after while and making promises. Please AVOID
