Great boarding stable

Highly recommend! We moved here 3 years ago and my horse is so happy here! Night and day difference! He's at the best condition wise he's ever been and his haircoat and feet have also improved immensely. Steve and Pat are amazing at keeping watch over the horses on the property and keep boarders updated with any changes that need to be made. Wonderful community of boarders as well who are all very willing to help each other out if need be!

We've had a horse boarded they off and on for years. Granddaughter now has riding lessons there.

Beautiful facility and top quality horse care. However the price point is high for a place with no indoor arena, however, with heated amenities and top quality care, the price is fair if you are willing to compromise the lack of an indoor in Minnesota. The barn itself is wonderful and truly a trail riders paradise, but performance horse disciplines are not who I’d recommend boarding here. It’s mostly older ladies who enjoy taking their horses out on trails. Friendly community by far and Steve and Pat take excellent care of the horses on their land and know most by name. I’d recommend this barn to anyone who only intends to do trails. They have a round pen on property which in my opinion is too big to be used as a round pen, however it is nice for riding in when the arena is busy. The horses seem healthy and happy overall and the barn itself is beautiful and quiet. It is a piece of paradise and the price is comparable to other barns in the area. I’d recommend this barn to all trail riders.

Great place!

Visited my friend and her horse. This was a new facility to me and 100% of an improvement. Clean! The overall setting seemed to be one of friendliness and respect. Lots of cozy seating to talk and relax.

Quality run equine facilities. Maintained and managed very well. Owners/maintenance do not like muddy areas and therefor trails, areas around buildings, and most importantly pastures are graded to have good water run off and not have standing water or "muddy" areas. Happy horses on grass pastures with nice indoor arena. Stall doors and barn are maintained and slide easily and in good working order. Electrical and water run in barn are extremely well placed and safe with higher cost cording/tubing and grounding used. Access to trails on property. Only Con is round pen is very small if you enjoy your round pen work. Will give 5 stars because the high level of maintenance and the investment in on site machinery outweighs the very few negatives I could be picky about and the overwhelming attention to key infrastructure leaves the very small personal cons I find to be easy fixed vs the major benefits the facility has. Would recommend to equine enthusiasts who care about the horses health and prefer non muddy pastures.

Top notch. Horse Training and boarding.

Northbrook is a wonderful facility for both horses and their owners. There are a variety of lessons and trainers available as well as many clinics throughout the year. Our horse has thrived in the environment — top notch grain and hay, excellent pasture, limited numbers of horses in paddock, exceptional stall condition and paddock. The arena is temp controlled with great footing and amazing viewing area. The entire facility is clean and well maintained with coordinated access to farrier, horse blanket cleaning and vet visits. One of the best thing about Northbrook is the caring community of people you get to be a part of. We LOVE Northbrook and appreciate Jan and the team she has put together to care for our horse, and us!

I love the way they treat the horses. They also clean the stalls well and the borders look out for one another. They also provide lookers and there is a big filed to trail ride around. If you own a horse I would recommend this boarding stable.

Northbrook is an awesome equestrian facility. Jan Fisk is a very knowledgeable trainer. The team is professional and takes great care of the horses. The barn community is friendly and supportive. It is primarily an Eventing center with a lot of opportunities to further your riding/training knowledge. There is a huge indoor with excellent footing, a large cross country course, and access to the Gateway trail system. The farm is well taken care of. My horses have never been happier.

North Brook is a great barn! The horses are treated very well and the facility is very clean and well taken care of. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and professional home for their horse or training needs. I am an employee of North Brook and from my experience the owner, staff, and other boarders are very kind and polite.

North Brook is a superior place to ride and train, whether or not you are currently an eventer or ever plan to compete. Jan Fisk is the kind of instructor I have been looking for my entire riding career -- the perfect balance between high expectations and firm demands of horse and rider, alongside encouragement, support, and recognition of your strengths and development. I trust her completely and as a result of her guidance have progressed very quickly in just 7 months of lessons, in both jumping and dressage. Not only is Jan a superb trainer, the North Brook facilities are spectacular -- clean barn, state-of-the-art indoor and outdoor riding areas, beautiful surroundings, all expertly cared for. North Brook sets a new standard for what a horse facility should be!

Our family has boarded multiple horses at North Brook over the past several years. The facility is gorgeous--great arena footing, outdoor (seasonal) stadium jumping field, an awesome cross country course with hills and water, all connected to miles of trails. The horses are well cared for with clean stalls, carefully managed pastures, and attentive barn management. Training is available from trainers that have competed at the top level of their sports. The lounge and barn areas are kept clean and orderly, a pleasant atmosphere even for non-riding guests. To top it off, the group of boarders is kind, supportive and fun. We accept nothing less than excellent care for our horses and a great atmosphere for our kids. North Brook is highly recommended.

The facilities at North Brook are beautiful and always improving, including an inviting cross country course, an airy indoor with lovely footing, and access to the Pine Point and Gateway trail systems. The horses are happy and healthy and there are many learning opportunities with local trainers and visiting clinicians. But the thing that I have been most impressed by over my last 4 years at North Brook is the kindness and care of the owner, the staff, and my fellow boarders.

My horse has received nothing but the best care in our time at North Brook. It is a beautiful barn with excellent facilities. The trainers have helped me to improve my riding immensely, and the best part is the welcoming and supportive atmosphere. I would highly recommend North Brook.

I have boarded a horse at North Brook Farm for six years and can say without a doubt that the owner is more attentive to the safety and well-being of horses than anyone I have ever met. The facilities are beautiful and I count myself very lucky to be able to keep my horse at such a wonderful place. And fellow-boarders are kind and respectful to all.
