Hand surgery. 100% failure. Absolutely, zero rehab for trigger finger surgery. Zero. Shoulder replacement surgery. Failure. Lied about what was done. Two years later, worse than before surgery. Just got second opinion in Denver. X rays. Yup. They didn’t do what they told you. I will drive 900 miles to Denver to have orthopedic surgeries done. Note. IF , no one in the world can find out what is wrong with you,,, come to Mayo in Rochester,Mn . There’s a GREAT chance they will. Not, I repeat, not for normal health concerns . YOUR doctors are just as good.
Came home in the same condition, if not worse, as when I entered, after 24 days.
Mayo (this dept) gave up on my case after their apparent by-the-book strategy yielded no findings...the whole reason I went there in the first place. No explanation given whatsoever, just a sudden "we can't help you".
Honestly the only place that I feel comfortable enough to get my wrist surgery done with. I'm coming all the way from Chicago and Dr. Pulos already has done more in a 20 minute phone call than 4 different in-person Doctor's here in Chicago. My wrist is really messed up after a bad surgery from Dr. Chen at IBJI. Dr. Pulos has made me very comfortable to go there and get this fixed.
I am a patient of Mayo for something other than Orthopedics, and this clinic flat refused to respond to a request from my care team for a consult regarding an acute injury that requires surgery. I was told by the scheduler for my primary doctor at Mayo that this clinic ignored multiple calls and multiple messages over several weeks.
