They are horrible workers, especially secretaries who is no help at all especially with a deaf person like me. Does not help with apartments and hangs up the phone on me. I will not be accepting such horrible act they did to me. Horrible

I took the CDL course taught by F.A.C, my instructor Mr. Dennis Cronin was clear, concise, patient and a good listener. I passed four exams taken on the same day in less than two hours. I can't thank you enough Mr. Cronin, God bless.

Since I'm in a 12-month fellowship currently based in NYC, I'm not able to work a traditional 9-to-5. The BPL referred me to F.A.C. as this incredible resource to represent me in applying to any available benefits that the state of NY offers to folks in my disposition. After about a week of leaving a detailed message, someone (Sarah, to be exact) returned my call, and these 5-stars go all to her and this organization. It's not as much work, or headaches, or unforeseen mistakes made when going through an attentive org such as F.A.C., compared to when you do all on your own. Needless to say, they successfully handled my situation, and for that, I'm truly grateful.

I am so very grateful to FAC for giving me the opportunity to “pay my rent,” provide me a community and allow me to be self sufficient. There are no words to describe the positive transformative change FAC has provided me. I am proud and honored to be a part of the FAC community.

I live in Bay Ridge Brooklyn and went to the Senior Connect Center (associated with 5 ave Committee ) for assistance with my SNAP . I was assigned a Social Worker , Ms Castillo who has been instrumental in helping me with my documents and was able to find mistakes made by HRA that only gave my father and I the federal minimum which is $23 a month . We are still waiting for a positive outcome that hopefully will come soon .

The Community Services team at Fifth Avenue Committee is a lifeline I believe every New Yorker should be utilizing. They really care about the people they're helping. Very knowledgeable about whichever field they are helping you in and will let you know when they don't know, which is VERY important if you ask me. Another thing that is truly fantastic about the Community Services team at Fifth Avenue Committee is that they realize people may need help down the line meaning they'll help you get back on your feet but say 3 years from now you need help guess what they will be there to help you again, no need to reapply or go through a frustrating onboarding process. Also Yannerys is a national treasure and must be protected at all cost.

A fantastic organization I have been part of for almost two decades. The Fifth Avenue Committee helps the Brooklyn committee in so many ways it's hard to count. Simply put, helping the people who need it most! Keep it up FAC!!

Very nice stay , apartments were lovely and comfortable, we were all inclusive so the only down side was I didn’t really like the food , so mainly stuck to salad ,

This place was fun to live in, getting shot at was the best part of living here but know I live in Florida and I miss Brooklyn, especially Ocean Hill for all these reasons.

Already home...
