First time coming here tonight as he was my assigned PCP. He's a hardworking and kind person. I'd recommend my friends and family to come here.

I have been going to Dr Tu for around 10 years now, I have to say in the last year or so, he and his staff have improved BIG TIME !!! He used to have receptionists answering the phone that barely spoke english, not the case anymore, his front desk is very friendly and easy to understand. Dr Tu has improved as well, a couple times recently he has gone above and beyond for me, including calling around pharmacies at 11:30 p.m. to find one that was still open, to fill an extremely important prescription for me !!! He is still a little bit rush rush, but 9/10 doctors these days are, but at least I can tell he truly cares, which I can't say about many doctors I've dealt with recently (Dermatologist Nguyen in Fountain Valley) stay far away from that office !!! Anyhow.... I would recommend Dr Tu to my friends and family these days, much more so than in the past !!!!

DO NOT GO HERE! My husband had pneumonia Covid and was hospitalized and has been waiting for his chest X-ray for WEEKS. He has been trying to get the results and they have used every excuse in the books as to why they can’t read them. He has called in about after symptoms of his Covid pneumonia and has been put on hold just to sit there forever. When calling back he’s given another excuse and told to call back another day. This office is a JOKE. To follow up we stopped by the office right now after she said the doctor wasn’t in and that’s why they couldn’t be read, and low and behold…the doctor came out to see us.

At first DR. Ty was very nice. He eventually revealed a quick temper and showed that he really didn’t care about getting his patients well- ONLY about shoving new high priced prescriptions down their throat. I thought doctors were supposed to help you.... Dr. Tu is a pill pusher and it’s unfortunate.

If he doesn’t like what you have to say about your experience with whatever ailment you may have, he’ll hang the phone up on you. Is this professional??

Dr. Tuc is a very caring doctor who looked after my mother for years. He was tentative and listened to me and my mother when we had questions or concerns. He was very prompt, spoke in a non condescending tone. Unlike other doctors, he took the time and explained why certain side affects happened. He offered various options for treatments as well.

He's not a typical doctor that would be readily agree to whatever you asked for and sincerely look what is best for his patient. I am forever grateful to him. For sure, my mother is now in heaven smiling upon him. She always said , "he's such a nice man".

I am an RN and have cared for many of Dr. Tu's patients in an acute care setting. I felt compelled to write a review because I have never before gotten such consistent rave reviews from patients for a doctor. I have seen Dr. Tu patiently spend time assessing, discussing, and personalizing care. He is a wonderful doctor not only to his patients, but to the health care team when coordinating care. He defintely stands out as a provider who listens, and cares for each person as an individual case. Tough to come by physicians as caring and committed!

While the doctor and nurses seem nice, the staff is completely rude and unhelpful. Have been calling for 2 days trying to get prescriptions filled, have had to call 3 times today alone only to be put on hold and hung up on.
Mind you this is for severe chest pain that the doctor knows about and insisted on a prescription for. Now 2 days later the woman in the office can't find my chart and doesn't have any idea when I'll get the medicine.

Go anywhere but here. Do not trust this office with your health or personal information.

My experience has not been so good at Dr. Tu's office. First, like many of the reviewers out there on Google and Yelp, I waited a very long time to be brought back to a room (more than an hour), then another 15-20 minutes for the doctor to come. The room was tiny, cramped, dirty, and all the supplies and equipment looked like it was from another era, or an undeveloped country. When the doctor finally came, we spent a few minutes talking about the problem I came in for - an itchy rash on my leg. I explained to him that I have had a very similar rash in the same spot before, and eventually had to see a dermatologist to have more specific testing done for the right medication. I was expecting that he would refer me to a dermatologist but he did not. The part that was the most frustrating for me is that he kept asking me about things from my intake forms - headaches and acne. He spent more time talking to me about those than the rash and asked me repeatedly if I wanted medication for those. I said no over and over to that, and had to keep steering the conversation back to my original problem. I finally left with a prescription for my rash, he told me to use it for 2 weeks. It did nothing, so I called and asked for a referral to a dermatologist. He tried to convince me to come in to see him again and I refused because I did not want to go through the same process as before. The referral process is taking so long that he offered to prescribe another medication to try while that gets sorted out. I have been using that for over a week and it is not working either. All I can say is that there is something really off about this doctor. I have seen some really good reviews about him, and I agree with claims that he seems to care. One night he called me from his personal phone at 8 pm to talk to me about my problems (I have now had this rash for more than 2 months) and call in another medication. I really appreciated that. However, my overall experience has been kind of bizarre, especially when I was in the office. I just don't trust that he knows what he's doing.
