Grapevine Performing Arts is an incredible studio to learn piano. The studio has a warm and inviting vibe, and I have always felt welcome as an adult beginner student. Mrs. Lyday takes time to get to know each student that comes to the studio, and she is one of the kindest people I've ever met.

Ms. Quiggle is a phenomenal teacher, and I have grown exponentially as a musician since I began studying with her. She adapts her teaching plans to each student, guides with kindness and toughness, and is an inspiration as an accomplished pianist. She has gone above and beyond helping me fix my technique and move towards my goals.

I highly recommend GPA and Ms. Quiggle to students of any age and level.

I tried learning guitar for the last five years but didn't seem to make much progress. I tried YouTube, friends that would flake on me and apps but I decided to finally seek professional help.

I'm currently taking guitar lessons with Andrew and he's a great teacher. Aside from my multiple false starts, I started off with zero experience; I couldn't even read music, count a beat or even tune the guitar. Andrew has been super patient and pragmatic as I juggle my responsibilities as a husband, father and adult learner. Each time I leave a lesson I feel like the puzzle is coming together more and more and I leave the lesson excited about the assignments he gives me between sessions.

My family has noticed a significant improvement in the last three months since starting to learn from him. Midway through my wife came into the room surprised and said, "You're actually playing a guitar!" There are just some things that YouTube or an app can't teach you... but Andrew can!

The first thing we did upon moving to Grapevine in 2014 was look for a piano teacher for our then 2nd grade daughter. She's now in middle school and still loving piano lessons with Mrs. Amy. What a graceful, joyful environment Amy has cultivated for students to grow musically! We've added ukulele lessons to the mix as well. Iris helped out daughter apply her skills to a new instrument with ease. GPA is well equipped to meet the needs of fine arts students!

My son has taken piano lessons from Ms.Amy for 6 years. I love how she encourages him to play the music he enjoys which drives his love for music. She not only teaches him but has built a relationship with him and knows what he needs to be successful. Her positivity and love for music is contagious.
My daughter has taken guitar and piano from Ms.Iris for 3 years. She has not only become a mentor but a friend my daughter can rely on. She has helped build her confidence and become a better performer.

My son has started piano lessons with Mrs. Teri at Grapevine Performing Arts. This has been nothing but a POSITIVE experience from the start. From talking with the owner, Amy, in the beginning to get him started, to going each week for his 30 min lesson with Mrs. Teri, we have thoroughly enjoyed our time so far with GPA. My son looks forward to going each week and has already accomplished so much! My daughter even already talks about wanting to play piano when she is old enough! ☺️ We look forward to a long musical career with GPA.

Ms. Amy encourages my students to grow in their music weekly. She knows the struggles that my children endure and encourages them in their life as well. My son has taken piano for 7 years. He still loves the challenges of learning music that is fun and engaging. My daughter has taken for about 3 years. She loves the variety of music and enjoys singing with each song. Ms. Amy keeps music playing in our home throughout the year. It is truly a blessing!
