Nasty attitudes from the people who work there. Ironic considering one of the rules is "No bad attitudes". That means YOU too, volunteers! Renee touched someone there in her sleep and caused a flashback of a nature I won't divulge into.

I would sleep under a tree in a blizzard before I went here.

Not a good time the staff is very rough no respects just very rude

Went 12/20 it was only my 2nd time going. Lady in red sweater was so nasty. Telling me let's go get moving then with the cart she was nasty saying people are waiting. You only do one area @ a time. It would not effect them. She should not be working in the pantry. Told me too bad no appointments for you next month. I don't know what to tell you nothing I can do.IT TAKES MORE TIME WHEN YOU HAVE TO CHECK EXPERATION DATES MAJORITY ARE OLDER THAN 6MONTHS WHY SHOULD I TAKE SOMETHING IM GOING TO THROW IN THE GARBAGE. YOUR SUPPOSED TO GET FOOD YOU CAN USE. NOT GO IN THE TRASH WHEN YOU GET HOME. YOU SAY SOMETHING & THERE LIKE WE GET DONATIONS FROM PEOPLE IF YOU KNOW THAT THEN WHY NOT ACTUALLY GO THRU THOSE DONATIONS. PHOTO OF BAKED BEANS WHEN SOMEONE SHOPPED FOR ME. ON 12/20 I WENT LATER IN THE DAY THERES WAS NO HOUSEHOLD STUFF. THEY SHOULD RESTOCK SO PEOPLE GET THE SAME AS THE MORNING EARLY AFTERNOON PEOPLE. I GOT POTHOLDERS BECAUSE THATS ALL THEY HAD. 2 POTHOLDERS. THEY SHOULDNT TAKE MORE PEOPLE THAN THEY CAN HANDLE. YOU SHOULDN'T BE TOLD NO OPENINGS FOR you. POOR MANAGEMENT

I have to say my experience here getting food from the food pantry there very rude. I mention I couldn't walk well and could I sit down. The lady working there said to me if u can't walk how are u going to get food? Then when I picked the three items of food , the other worker said wow I see your a beef eater can't u pick chicken ? Then when I find the paper wrong for Christmas basket the lady upfront that greets u so lovely today said to me are u confused do u even understand me.

This is a wonderful place that helps serve those in need with the love of Christ. My wife volunteers and helps with breakfast meals. On Thanksgiving Day, we participated in Gobble/Wobble 5k fundraiser event. She helped with registration and I walked/jogged with my grandkids. Great turnout for a great cause.

I had scheduled an appointment a month or so in advance, and when I went to call and confirm the day before, they had told me that it didn’t exist and that I had been there the week or two prior- when I was working. They told me that they would push my appointment out another two weeks on a day that I work, and they wouldn’t schedule it for any day that I didn’t. Very rude service.

This is a very good soup kitchen in Glens Falls that provides meals to those in need each and every day of the week. The meals are typically high quality and they are pretty nutritious and varied as well. They also have options for vegetarians / vegans which is great.

Do not necessarily have to be homeless to visit this place but it helps out people as well with indoor residency and other things that you need to be qualified for to get in.

All in all this is a great place to get help!
