A very well maintained fort with an awesome view on the banks of river chapora. A nice place for an evening hangout.
It was a small fort built by the Marathas in the 18 th century. You have to take a boat to reach. The greenery around the fort is amazing
Small and beautiful fort located on the banks of the chapora river. The location is very quiet and peaceful. You can go down and sit beside the river. The best time to visit is after rainy days (July-Sept) since there is greenery all around. Try to visit during sunset to witness a lovely sunset from the steps.

The fort is under restoration, nothing much to see around..
However if your here around in the evenings you'll get a chance to click great Instagram worthy picture's with the sunset ...great views of the river.
The fort Closes at around 5 pm for visitors...the road opposite the fort gives a great view of the river

Alorna Fort is a beautiful fort situated by the side of a river. Although beautification work is still going on and it's no fully open. You can still visit this beautiful fort and click good pictures or hangout there!
We visited this place before 5.30pm but it was locked. Hence, we couldn't get to see it from the inside. However, the area is very calming, by the river you can spend a few minutes just taking in all the beauty. It was also really good to see a dustbin installed there!
At present the fort is open for public.
But from external the fort looks in a very good condition.
The fort is square is shape and about 100 *100 meter in size. They are two cannon at the entrance of the fort,
