Wow! Such a beautiful large property. The manager Dianna is so friendly, helpful and knowledgeable about the property. She maybe busy but she will make sure you’re taken care of. If you’re in the area please check it out and ask to speak to Dianna.

If I could give them a 0 I would. My front door has been broken for months! Forcing to pay $80 a month for their wifi and no visitor parking (you have to pay for it) when they have no real amenities for residents is CRAZY. The dog park doesn’t even have a bench for owners to sit. Just rocks :) One good thing: Tiffany and Terry are amazing!

I will start by saying that Terry is excellent, and my opinion of The Encore is by no means a reflection of him. That said, this place is not worth the money you pay. You do not get responses to your emails, and you certainly do not get treated like a paying tenant. Instead, you are treated like the trash that sits in the hall. There is a disgusting infestation of roaches. We pay TWO SEPARATE trash fees, and we are forced to pay for their crappy $85 internet. Upon moving in, they were advertising "No down payment." We signed up only to realize that we were now paying $35 a month for our time on the property, not for our lease, but for the time on the property. The storage area is moldy, musty, and filthy, absolutely disgustingly filthy. They broke my plant and decorations on my patio, then didn't clean it up, refused to reimburse me, and refused to take accountability even though my husband watched it happen with his own two eyes. I wish I could explain how deeply regretfully I feel about moving here. RUN AWAY; Bonaventure is trash.

I had the pleasure of working with Terry as my leasing agent, and the experience was exceptional from start to finish. Terry was not only professional but also incredibly responsive and attentive to all my needs throughout the leasing process. he took the time to explain everything clearly and went above and beyond to make sure I felt comfortable and informed at every step. Terry’s friendly and approachable demeanor made the process stress-free, and their expertise was evident in how smoothly everything went. I highly recommend Terry to anyone looking to move in.

DO NOT MOVE HERE!! This complex is the WORST! There is a huge THEFT problem in this community. Recently, my car was stolen, and not too long ago my neighbors air bar was stolen. Mangement don't care! They don't respond to emails or phone calls. They have dummy cameras on the property, so you know the community isn't SAFE! In addition, there are hidden fees associated with your rent. Your responsible for electric, water, sewage, trash, parking, pest control and Wifi. Expect to pay between $300-$400 on top of your rent. This place is a rip off!!

This apartment has a great location, but that's about it. The building is seemingly made of cardboard. You can hear everything between units. The community is not respectful of your belongings, my car has already sustained over 400$ in damages just from being parked. The neighbors thus far LOVE to blast their music with deep bass. You get woken up in the middle of the night by people below/above you having...conversations which sound like they are in your unit. Management used to be pretty responsive, but so far going on 10 unanswered emails. Electric bill has almost tripled since living here, not sure why. Thought you were gonna save money considering moving here? The utilities covers the cost of any savings you might of had finding a cheaper place to live with the added bonus getting to listen to your neighbors music without having to buy your own radio, so that's a bonus...

Terry’s experience, efficiency, customer service skills and professionalism is absolutely outstanding and top notch!! He really goes above and beyond for Encore and for all the residents. He deserves all good things and recognition for his exceptional work ethic and dedication to us at Encore. I would really appreciate if there’s some way he is recognized and rewarded.

I have lived at Edlandria for six years. They have been excellent the entire time. The rent is very competitive for the area. The apartments are clean. The staff is excellent. The area is safe with many wholesome working class families. More than anything though I have been very impressed with their service. They have never tried to nickel and dime me. If I ever had a problem, even major ones, maintenance immediately came and dealt with the problem.

I have lived here for a couple months and let me say there are a lot of great features! I love the location, the staff are nice, the culture is friendly, the apartments are a nice size and I love my sunroom. But the elevators keep breaking (like, every week) and the A/C just can't keep up. I just got back from the gym which was 79 degrees at 730 pm, to my apartment which is 78. That is with the thermostat set to 65 and multiple work orders placed. Maybe I'll eventually adapt to enjoy the heat, but for now it is hard to enjoy the amenities when I'm sweating after doing a couple chores.
EDIT: Reduced the stars. I put in (another) work order as recommended in the reply and apparently my AC is working fine even though it never gets below 75-76 in my apartment. I can't use the stove or oven because then it is 79-80. Maybe update your AC if it can't keep your residents comfortable when it is "working".
Also, I wanted to add that the garage, hallways, and elevators are always very warm as well. Doesn't seem like this building is interested in investing in a comfortable temperature.

If you value elevators that work, you need to look somewhere else.
I've lived here for many years, and have generally enjoyed it, but the elevator situation of late has been beyond disastrous and I can no longer be silent.
As of this writing, there is currently one elevator (of four) working in a 25 floor building. Management constantly apologizes for the elevator issues, but neither they nor their contractor Otis seem to actually fix the elevators for more than a day or so before they break again.
And assuming you're lucky enough to find an elevator that actually works after waiting for way too long, know that the AC within the elevator won't be working.
Also, the hallways of each floor are no longer air conditioned for whatever reason (probably cost cutting), so expect steamy conditions in the common areas (it's currently 97 degrees outside).

Lived here for about 3 years now. The apartment itself is nice enough but the elevators for the building are constantly going out of service. There's 25 floors on this building and you can only get to your apartment via elevator. Usually we operate with three out of four elevators because one is always broken but lately only two elevators have been working consistently.
It's difficult to get in and out of your apartment due to the long lines and demand for the elevator. The management company just sends us a sad email explaining that they're looking into the elevator fixes but they break the very next day. I would look to live somewhere else.

We have lived here for the past 2 years while my wife was attending school. We loved everything from the amenities and the convenience of local grocery stores, restaurants and the metro station. Diana at the front desk to everyone in the leasing office and the regular faces of their cleaning and maintenance crew were so friendly! We really will miss this place…

I have never been more disappointed with a living situation than I am with Meridian at Eisenhower. Over the past two weeks, all four elevators in this 25-floor building have been consistently broken. At best, maybe two elevators work, but they are excruciatingly slow and unbearably hot, with no air conditioning.
The elevator situation is a nightmare. It often takes up to 20 minutes just to leave the building. When an elevator finally arrives, it's usually so packed with people and pets that there isn't even room to squeeze in. This has caused significant delays, making me and countless other residents late for work and other critical appointments.
This ongoing issue is unacceptable for a complex of this size and rent price. The management needs to address this immediately and provide a significant rent reduction to compensate residents for this massive inconvenience. Until then, I cannot recommend Meridian at Eisenhower to anyone looking for a reliable and comfortable living environment.

I’ve been living at the Meridian for almost 3 years. Staff has always been friendly, maintenance has been speedy, the building is relatively clean and well maintained. Having a concierge and secure parking is wonderful as well.
Location to Old Town and the Eisenhower Metro is prime, and could not think about living anywhere else in the area.

Wanted to give it a solid 6 months of living here before reviewing - we love the Parc Meridian! We toured 10 buildings around Arlington and Alexandria and this was by far the best. Location is pretty quiet even with the metro right across the street. Monthly parking, while pricey, was still the cheapest out of surrounding communities. Walkable to a handful of restaurants and even King Street/Old Town if you're up for a 30-40 minute walk.
Maintenance responds to even the smallest and least-urgent requests like a flickering light bulb within an hour or two. Secure mail and package pickup. The Cobu app and leasing office have nice monthly events like Taco night, hot cocoa bar, or a holiday dinner.
My ONLY negative so far is that Comcast Xfinity is the only wifi option available for the building - I work from home and they have outages at least once a month. Would greatly appreciate the ability to switch to Verizon or AT&T or something else.

Used to be a great place. Nowadays if you walk around you will smell Marijuana off and on and even if your windows are open. Management is incapable to take any action against that because of their policies. Despite no smoking community this issue is something I feel is unfixable. They issue 2 parking permit per apartment. Strange thing is 1 or 2 bed get treated same. That means an apartment with 2 occupants and one with 4 gets only 2 parking spots. Despite no pet community there are pets seen all around and no enforcement to that policy is seen.
We didn't have rodent issue before but recently scratching between the walls can be heard. Some buildings have more severity than others.
Lastly one of the biggest disadvantage is no central heating/ac. Management decides when heat or ac is turned on. If you open window you smell Marijuana.
Only internet option is xfinity. It's what building wiring supports.
Lot of room for improvement.

Parc Meridian seemed like a decent place at first, but it went downhill fast. The underground parking became a hotspot for car thefts, leaving residents feeling unsafe. A persistent leak in our apartment took weeks to fix, causing a foul odor to permeate the air. Management's response was inadequate, with days of airing out the unit and hallway disrupting our lives.During move-out, we were assured by the inspector that everything was fine, except for potential carpet stains, which weren't an issue for us. Despite this, we were slapped with a $500 bill for stove top glass replacement, a charge that seemed unjustified. The management's actions left us feeling betrayed and frustrated. Parc Meridian turned out to be a nightmare of a place to live, and we strongly advise against choosing it. There are surely better options out there.

This place has turned into a nightmare overtime. Cars would always hit the front light poles. The trash chute would get stuck once a week, the concierge desks personell would have a terrible attitude. The management team sends made-up move out fee months after leaving the apartment with zero information upfront. Customer service does is not in the definition for Parc Meridian. So sad to see a nice building turn so trashy

I had an incredibly disappointing experience with Meridian at Eisenhower apartments. Not only were the facilities subpar, but their application process was outrageously unfair and discriminatory. Despite meeting all the requirements and providing ample documentation, I was subjected to unnecessary scrutiny and bias. It's evident that Meridian at Eisenhower doesn't value diversity or inclusivity in their tenant selection process. Save yourself the frustration and look elsewhere for housing options that actually respect their applicants.

I’ve been living here for a little under a year and have nothing but good things to say. The leasing and concierge staffs are extremely friendly and helpful. The management puts effort into fostering community by hosting small events about once a quarter. The biggest thing for me though is that they’re well built. I NEVER hear my neighbors through the walls which makes me feel like I don’t have to worry about being too loud myself. I’ve never placed a maintenance request though so I can’t speak to that.

I’ve only lived here a little over a month and I can say the staff are so friendly and pleasant. I like that it’s a secured building which makes me feel more at ease. Maintenance issues are resolved quickly. don’t hear any noise from my surrounding neighbors, which is a plus for me. I’d recommend Meridian if anyone ask.

We cannot say enough Great things about this place! We are real people, who really lived here for almost 2 years with 2 kiddos ages 3 and 2.
Firstly, we will start with Justine! She is our backbone and the reason we made it from Hawaii to Parc Meridian with 2 small children. We had safe, secure, CLEAN housing for ~2 years. Everyone is friendly on the staff. They often host community events every 3 months or so. The biggest of them being during certain holiday seasons.
Next, you can't beat the location. Walking distance to the metro. It was extremely convenient to get to DC or anywhere in the district that offers the metro rail.
Also, the amenities are unmatched! For much of our time at Parc Meridian I was a stay at home mom. The pool in the summer was a huge help for us with our kiddos. Plus, the club room was my saving grace often when I needed a place to take my girls to run around during inclement weather.
Justine and the office staff would often give our girls treats and coloring books with crayons at random when we would stop by to say hello. We are not pet owners but dog treats were always readily available at the front desk as well!
Truly, in short, we cannot say enough great things about this place. Before I end, I want to highlight the location again. Being walking distance to Wegmans and the theater takes the cake for us as well! MOVE HERE!
Thanks!

I said I wasn't moving from Parc Meridian. Well I lied, sort of. I Moved. From one apartment to another 😂. Loved my Upland floor plan but this Oak floor plan is amazing. Still loving this neighborhood and management has been the nicest people to work with. (It also helps when you come to them with "realistic expectations").

I have enjoyed living at Parc Meridian! The atmosphere is warm and friendly. It starts from the top. I have experienced professionalism and courtesy from the leasing representatives, concierge, and maintenance staff. The building is kept clean and pristine and the outside corridors and landscaping clean and manicured. The amenities are wonderful: gym always clean and sanitized, rooftop deck and pool area a great place to enjoy during the warm months, grilling stations located in the lower outdoor area and on the rooftop. I’ve lived here a short time and I have renewed my lease. I’ve had recent conversations with military personnel who lived at Parc Meridian in the past, received orders to be transferred to other duty locations in and outside of the U.S., and when they received orders to return to this area the first place they chose to returned to for leasing a place is Parc Meridian. It’s a great place to live, stores are in walking distance, and Eisenhower metro station is across the street!! Hope you consider Parc Meridian in your leasing search. Warm and friendly atmosphere…home.

If you're looking for a beautiful and quiet place to live, right outside of DC - without feeling like you're right next to the hustle and bustle that comes with being next to DC - this is the property for you. The Encore is extremely well maintained with upgraded units ready for you to move into. The Property Manager, Sherry, and her entire team are exceptional in every way. They all work extremely hard to make sure their residents feel like they're a part of their community, rather than it just being another place to live. Highly recommend!!

Our third car has been vandalized since moving in July 2020. Our car was clearly keyed on the driver side with intent. It’s an obvious key and those scratches were not there but since recently. Some of the damage is deeper than the other, damaging the paint.
Last time I brought this to the property managements attention they told me there was nothing they could really do.
I just want to make people aware that this community is not as safe as we hoped it was for a family with a little one.

Update July 2024: Unfortunately, the elevator situation as others have cited is absolutely ridiculous. To make matters worse my washer and dryer has been out for three weeks and having to wait for the elevators (20+ mins) while lugging clothes to a vacant unit is insane for the price they charge for these units. I love the area and concierge and even the leasing office but the management company is clearly not prioritizing this building. I recommend installing fob access on the stairwell. We should at least be able to access our units via stairs when the elevators are down.
When we first started our journey of looking for places in Alexandria, I stumbled upon the Meridian at Eisenhower. What caught my attention was the 4.1 rating. A score that high is extremely impressive for an apartment building. Now, I completely understand why they’re highly rated. We just moved in. From start to finish, the entire staff were professional, kept us informed throughout the application and move-in process and were extremely accommodating. Our floorplan is absolutely gorgeous and our the building itself is beautiful. Obviously, the location is prime as many have mentioned before. The only con is the parking garage. The entrance is very narrow so if you have an SUV or bigger vehicle, be careful. But honestly, it’s not a big deal for us. There are plenty of parking spaces - which is most important.
Note: I’ll provide a six month update

I lived here for two years with my roommate, and I will gladly say I wouldn’t have wanted to live anywhere else. They really come through on the things that matters. My first year, our fridge stopped working and maintenance fixed came in under a day. They are consistent with pest control and filter changes with reasonable notice beforehand.
My roommate and I had spent days making comprehensive spreadsheets comparing apartments pros/cons and this was our winner and well worth the excel efforts to find it.
They have fun raffles and events with food, but to me what is most important is how understanding and responsive and caring they were during my stressful moves.
I left this place because I wanted to go further from DC/Arlington/Alexandria busy city areas, but I really was happy to find this place and spend two years here.
For being so close to everything and the price with utilities included, you aren’t going to get a better deal.
I guess my only critique would be better treadmills in the gym.
Other than that, I highly recommend this apartment for a great safe choice for moving to the area for the first time or families.

Just to echo what Anthony said, my vehicle was also strewn with graffiti a couple of weeks ago; thankfully much of it washed off, but this property has really gone downhill in the many years I've been here, where I've personally experienced rodent infestation (in spite of keeping a clean unit compared to others here) and dealing with an un-announced property renovation that led to my car being towed while the property denied any responsibility nor remuneration for.
Unfortunately, this property seems to have a strange penchant for approving and allowing a ton of questionable riff raff to occupy their dwellings nowadays, while the latter let their random kids run wild, doing whatever they want, hence case in point, what happened to my car.
Furthermore that "security guard" is worthless; there has been tons of soliciting that I've witnessed, at least on my end of the property, at nighttime and he's often nowhere to be seen, and I'm willing to bet anything that it's drug related.
The annual rent increases aren't appreciated either, especially nowadays when wages have stagnated or have been reduced, factoring in hyperinflation, and high gas prices. Pretty soon, you'll have a limited number of occupants left who themselves, will be barely able to stay or be eventually forced out by Dittmar.

Our cars were vandalized twice, two separate cars. Some marker on one and a stolen side mirror on the other. This occurred on May 25th and June 1st, just one week apart. Stopped by the leasing office and unfortunately nothing they could do. No cameras on buildings or around parking spaces. It is what it is just wanted to share my experience.

I don't know how many positive things I can say about property and property management team, but let me share a couple. The maintenance and property management are amazing. Been here for already 5, I believe pushing 6th year, nothing but positive things. They maintain the entire complex perfectly, maintenance is always on time - whenever you request something to be worked on/fixed, they get it done in under 24 hours, and I never place anything to be urgent. Units overall are great, quiet, clean (no nasty bugs or mice), neighbors are nice as well, just a perfect place. Management overall is amazing group of people. Highly recommend this community, keep up the great work guys!!

first things first. Speak to Noura shes the best.
This apartment is one of the best apartment complexes we have ever lived in hands down. the area is quiet and everything is clean and the main point is that all utilities are included and there are no extra hidden fees when paying rent. whats due is whats due and the towing in this place is non-existent if you follow the rules. the prices are kind of high but the all utilities included. the walls ceiling and floors seem to be cemented so that vibrations and noises from neighbors are mute, you'd really have to stomp on purpose to hear anything. parking is great here. while some nights after 9 it may seem crowded there is always spots available in the back and it is not a far walk wherever you have to go. there are no visitors which is some what an issue but it should be fine as long as they leave before 10pm-ish. no bugs in our apartment and no rodents either. maintenance is quick and fast and efficient and all staff is super nice.
