This place is trash. BBB, housing authority or whoever should shut this place down. Complained for over 2 yrs about water damage. Finally they got some one to come and check it out(left a 2x2 ft hole in ceilings leaving us exposed to insulation and anything in attic) Apartment is now unlivable. Given option to opt out of lease or rent a different place which I chose the latter. New apartment extremely infested with roaches. Wasn’t able to move in for 15 days due to waiting on exterminator. They will not wave Oct rent due to their inconveniencing me. Now being rushed to vacate old apartment so they can start repairs after 2 yrs. Appalled at the fact no one in upper management can even be bothered to call and apologize for or try to make situation better

Horrible would not recommend goin here at at...... shame on you people for real.

The office staff Michelle and Esther were professional ..very easy to speak with,, and we're very willing to accommodate my needs.

My experience was awful living here, Roaches bad, accuse of my animal not being on lease, when she was.Got kick out for no reason and won in court. Codes all screwd up in 1382 A . I will not recommend Harbour Ridge apt to nobody!

Great staff, maintenance is very prompt , professional and polite . Did work in my unit and it turned out great.

Living here was an absolute nightmare I wouldn’t wish on my worst enemy. I was lied to from the moment I toured. I was given supposedly the best apartment that they typically use as the tour apartment. The day I moved in and the night I started cooking, roaches started coming out of behind the stove and fridge. I truly can’t make this up. I lived there for 30 days being told this was a fluke and they would fix it. Finally the exterminator leveled with me that the entire complex is massively infested and my unit did in fact have the smallest problem. I saw upwards of 20 roaches a day! He told me the roaches are in the walls and no amount of exterminating will fix the problem long term. I was also told my fridge had a nest of roaches in it by the exterminator and I presented this to the property manager and she gave me a huge run around about replacing it and ultimately never did. Kids are left unsupervised all day in the parking lots. No idea where the parents are. These children are destructive, violent and down right mean. They destroyed the little free library the county put in. Ripped the books to shreds and ripped the glass door off the box. They regularly pulled things from the dumpsters and played in them. I regularly saw people staying at the complex that did not live there. I was assured everyone was background checked and safe but it’s clear that some families had 8 people in 2 bedrooms illegally. Living there gave me trauma that I’ve had to go through therapy to recover from. No one deserves to live like that. And the owners should have to spend a week in their units before taking another dime from one innocent family. I’ve kept all photos and correspondences of what I endured living in that deplorable condition and I will fight in court if they ever try to discredit what I experienced. I left 30 days after my initial lease was signed. I lost thousands in down payments and moving expenses. That’s how horrible it was. Don’t put yourself or your kids in that environment.

Everyone so very helpful. Feels like home instantly. Love the pool and the new neighbors we have met. The staff is helpful whenever we have needed them.

I lived here for about 14 months (May 2020 to June 2021) while I was separated and going thru a divorce. I found this place to be very nice. I lived in one of the very spacious one bedrooms on Costmary. Most of the neighbors are adults and most are older. Tons of space in the aparmtent with a nice patio, and on the corner units on Costmary you have no wall neighbors which is very nice. I was near Independence Blvd so the road noise was loud at times but not a huge deal. Tons of free space for animals and they're very animal friendly. Ideal location in the middle of town with access off of Independence and Shipyard. The original section of the apartments are older but are well maintained and you have access to a pool and a nice gazebo with grills.

Clean, friendly neighborhood. Everyone is very nice and its nice to feel safe where you live.
Barclay Plan has increased resident activities and my family loves it. The movie on the lawn was the best!

We love living here. The pool and gym are great. And they have FUN events! Went to the wine and design recently and had so much fun! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Overall I have had a great experience here. Normal apartment type issues, but the maintenance girls here are great! Always willing to help and nice personalities. Having the right staff makes the difference.

Five stars after my first 60+ days. Maintenance has been very quick and efficient. The admin staff has been attentive to my needs. The facilities are well maintained and they offer everything that I need to enjoy my townhome.

Love the place I'm living in, but I wish I felt more welcome. Seems like every time I have a guest over, and they don't live in this residence (my mother for example), they have to walk to their car to find a nasty note on their windshield threatening to key their car or do other damage to their vehicle for simply parking in a parking spot they feel entitled to. As far as I'm concerned there is no assigned parking. I've been dealing with this for over a year, and I barley have people to visit me, and even when they do, I'm scared for their vehicle because of mean people who live here. It's really disappointing. I signed a lease for another year, but after that, I'm out. Barclay Place Rental Village needs MAJOR security cameras due to people like this. However, the staff is great. Lee Thompson has always been so wonderful and helpful.

I am thoroughly enjoying living here. The staff has been extremely responsive and accommodating. The neighborhood is well-maintained and quite. It's the first place I have lived in several years that truly feels like home and somewhere I will happy being for a long time.

I’ve been here for almost a year and had little issues. I get along with my neighbors. Everyone minds their own business. For the price of rent here I feel it’s a decent complex.
New management just took over and she is great and really trying to make improvements aesthetically.
I’ve lived in 3 complexes in Wilmington. The other 2 the rent was much higher and I had lots of issues. This has been the best place so far.

This property is extremely beautiful and really quite. I came here to visit and I was really impressed with how friendly and helpful the staff was with me as I do not live here I was just visiting. I would have to say their apartments are really spacious and well maintained. I was able to enjoy some long quite walks on this property (which surprised be because of the being in the middle of Wilmington). If you get a chance to check out this property you will not be disappointed!
