Quiet place to live. The grounds are beautiful on the outside. The problem is the inside. There were a lot of cosmetic issues but we covered them up as best as possible. Put in work orders for some things. Some things were fixed, some were not. No biggie because we listed them on the move in checklist. The main problem was the roaches!!!! No matter how clean we kept the unit, the roaches were there. We would request pest control and they would never come. My daughter moved out 3 months before the lease was up due to no help (office staff and management) with the roach problem. At the end of her lease, we went back and cleaned the unit thoroughly. She got a bill for over $200. Absolutely ridiculous considering the fact that she was forced to live with roaches. Never again!

Love this environment! We always feel very safe and protected here. Lovely community and everyone is so kind! Beautiful apartments, and very useful amenities :)

I love my new apartment it’s quiet very comfortable through the whole process Mrs Karen and Mrs Jennifer where so helpful and patient they answered all my questions. And when the washer needed to be fixed they literally were on top of it and fixed it quickly! Love the office staff so friendly and apartment is amazing!

I’ve been with them for few months and had a couple normal problems occur and I received excellent service within minutes of reporting! Michael is great in maintenance and Julie in the office is great as well I’m really happy here I appreciate it and would recommend this place to anyone!

There are a lot of options for apartments in Lake Charles and the search can be incredibly overwhelming. I decided to take a look at Advenir because I had heard good things from a previous tenant who swore by the place. My expectations were EXCEEDED. All of my boxes were checked. I was so frustrated by the lack of communication with other complexes in the area. While I love my spacious apartment, the amenities, the well-kept appliances, and the quiet community, ultimately, what sold me on Advenir was the staff. Jennifer always responded to me promptly. Through every hiccup I had or anything I needed clarification on, Jennifer was there. I had a problem with my account and Alexis helped us resolve it the same day. Jennifer helped make accommodations to meet my needs. I've never had to wait on a response from staff. They're helpful, kind, and timely which means a lot to me! They all go out of their way to make this place feel like home and I'm very grateful for that. I'll definitely be recommending this place to family and friends who may be looking.

This place is a dream. I am so glad I moved here. Nice, quiet, peaceful, clean. Birds are chirping and all around which I love. The landscaping is beautiful, trees everywhere. Magnolia trees right outside my bedroom window. Inside the unit is very nice as well. Extremely clean when I moved in. The staff is wonderful, Karen helped me throughout the entire process. She had only been there a week when I first viewed the place but still answered every question I had. If she didn’t know the answer right away, she found out. Her demeanor and beauty of the property during the tour is what interested me in applying. Online payments, gated property, two pools, washer and dryer in unit are convenient. It is peaceful here. I am satisfied and highly recommend.

Edit: I’ve been here a year now and need to update my review! My positive review still stands! I have had nothing but POSITIVE experiences with the entire team working at Advenir. Paul and Mike in maintenance are absolutely wonderful and respond in a timely manner. I’ve had a few minor things needing repair throughout the year and I never had to wait more than a day to get it taken care of.

The office ladies are wonderful as well. Always willing to help out and are there when needed! I feel like I’m valued as a resident at Advenir and that is why I chose to renew my lease! This place is comfortable and peaceful!

I recently had the pleasure of working with the maintenance man at my apartment complex and I have nothing but positive things to say about him. From our very first interaction, he was friendly, knowledgeable, and professional.

The maintenance man went above and beyond to ensure that all of my maintenance requests were taken care of promptly and efficiently. He always kept me informed throughout the process, and even offered valuable tips and advice to help prevent future issues from arising.

What really stood out to me was his attention to detail and the pride he takes in his work. Every task he completed was done meticulously, and he never left a mess behind. It's clear that the maintenance man truly cares about the work he does and the residents he serves.

Overall, I could not recommend the maintenance man more highly. He is a true asset to our community. Thank you for your hard work and dedication Tyrone!!!

Me and my two roommates moved into The Halston about 6 months ago and we love it. Very relaxed and someone we enjoy very much is the maintenance man Mr. Tyrone. We are three young ladies and he has always gone out of his way to make us feel protected and quick to fix any issues we have and never fails to make us smile. The rest of the staff is also great and helpful!

I will give 3 stars because the units are nice but the maintenance man is very creepy. I was given a tour of a unit by him instead of the lady in the office and he made me very uncomfortable. He over talks you and was using profanity to explain how they’re complex “Dont play that sh*t” I’ve rented in other complexes and i’ve never experienced anything like this. I also don’t understand why is there only one maintenance man for such a big complex? That seems very sketchy and I won’t be staying here. Not to mention someone was found deceased in the apartment complex next door. The neighborhood is not safe.

The Halston Apartments is a great place to live. My family and I have been living here for a year and absolutely love it. The office staff is amazing, the Maintenance is impeccable. The overall environment of The Halston Apartments is such an enjoyable one. Impeccable job Halston staff and Maintenance, you all make it easy to live here.

Lived there for 1year and the staff are super friendly and nice. The neighborhood is so quiet and I didn’t ever have an issues with neighbors or anything else. Also love how they are always trying to make the complex look nicer!

I've been very happy living at the Advenir at Lake Charles apartment community for the past almost two years.This is by far the best Apartment community I've lived in. It's a high quality complex, and very well kept. The office management team are professional, and courteous. Our leasing manager Angela, and assistant manager Alexis are the best. Maintenance is very good. I highly recommend Advenir at Lake Charles apartment community to anyone seeking a high quality safe, and affordable community for you and your family. I'm very satisfied here, and I plan to be here at Advenir a long time. Give them a call. You'll be glad you did! 😃

Advenir of Lake Charles is by far the best place to live in all of Lake Charles. I moved in shortly after Hurricane Laura and Alexis and Angela totally took care of me. Everything in Lake Charles was a wreck. I mean epic disaster. But they were calm and cool and helped me find a place and took care of everything I could ever imagine. My apartment was spotless. It looked brand new. The appliances were top of the line. It was quiet, has a dog park, there’s a place to walk just outside the back gates. It was the first apartment where I’ve ever had trash service. Anytime I had a question Alexis and Angela hooked me or called me back. Kroeger is in walking distance. Starbucks is close. It’s near everything you’ll need in Lake Charles. I would absolutely live here again. I lived in some terrible places in Lake Charles. Don’t take the chance, just live here.

I am editing my review because when we moved out due to Hurricane Laura, the process was smoother than expected. We did have to wait a few weeks to get in contact with the office which was frustrating because we did not have a place to live during that time but understandable due to the circumstance. (Management wouldn't let us live in the apartment and we had very limited access to our belongings in the apartment for weeks.)
Taking off a star because my car got broken into a few times living here even though it is a gated community. Another thing was my apartment attracted a few beetles and roaches even though it was kept clean.
The bedroom is spacious and liked the layout of the apartment.
