Hi i been trying to enroll for LPN but the telephone number does not work

I visited Tech901 last week to take a certification exam. Being a member of the Memphis IT community, I'd heard lots of great things about Tech901 but I had never been to their facility. It was very nice, parking was great, the test administrator was very nice, knowledgeable and helpful. The facilities are excellent. If you need to take a monitored exam or want to up your IT acumen Tech901 is definitely a great place to go.

Horrible… the staff uses intimidation and empty threats to scare people into submission. Be careful going here the administration constantly threatens to kick people out of school. Even off of hearsay. More corrupt than the MPD

Amazing organization! It is a great place to learn new skills in IT, the staff are fantastic and it really shows that they genuinely care about their students and want them to do great.
The careers advice they give is invaluable and second to none!
Seriously, if you are looking for a change of career, Tech901 will be able to give you the leg up you need.

I passed my course and state board (NCCT) but I’ve been applying at jobs for 3 going on 4 years. I have great work history, drug free background clean I’m literally a great employee I’ve never been turned down for a job until I tried applying as a phlebotomist. it’s very odd and I feel like my money time and education was all for nothing. I am still paying to renew my license and completing required continuing education hours it all feels like for nothing.

How difficult is it to get into tech901

The healthcare institute is a terrible place and offers subpar services for aspiring nurses. I attended the school January 2023 and was dismissed May 2023. I did not score well for a certain course and brought my grade below satisfactory. Despite other students have been given opportunities to remain enrolled after failing a course without needing to appeal, I was not afforded the same opportunity. The school would not have known I was unsatisfactory if I had not emailed them regarding my grades. This lack of attention to detail on their part underscores their indifferent attitude toward students. During my appeal I explained what clinicals was (going to a facility and creating a care plan for a patient) and that the assignment that was given was a not apart of clinical grading. Tiffanee Merritt, the part-time “Director” of the school, responded that the assignment fell under the same course as the clinicals, and thus was subject to the same grading standards. This raises the question of why the school would intentionally give a failing grade for an assignment that was not meant to be part of the clinical component. I argued that the only assignments created specifically for clinicals, such as the care plans, professional conduct in clinical setting, and participation during clinicals, should be entered under that component. I was not given the opportunity to ask why this grade was not entered under other components of the course, such as exams, participation, or other assignments. Katrina Robinson response was “You cannot write my curriculum” and I fully understand and was not trying to write the curriculum I was merely stating that she was not practicing what she preached. This school is designed to make students feel inferior while charging an exorbitant tuition fee. I have never felt disrespected by anyone before I entered this school. The school is very unorganized and expects you to be ready for an exam that was taught the day before. Being at this school I have witnessed yelling from the professors, disrespect, uncertainty, poor interaction, belittling, and more. Our class started with eleven and after dismissing me has left the cohort with two students within 5 months. Doesn’t this tell you something isn’t right about this school? If the school adheres to the policy and handbook then why were students in the cohort above me allowed a third chance to take the HESI exit exam out of pocket when the school policy stipulates two chances? The school picks and chooses who to bend the rules for. I should have listened when I was warned that this school was solely interested in making money and wouldn't care about the students in the end. If you choose to attend this school despite reading this, I wish you good luck. It is crucial to be mindful of the reputation of educational institutions and their owners. As a result, attending such an institution is not advisable for those who seek knowledge and growth. It is essential to find a better school with a trustworthy reputation and one that prioritizes the needs of its students rather than solely focusing on making a profit. Choosing an institution that aligns with one's values and goals is vital in ensuring a positive and fruitful learning experience. It's only a matter of time before they dismiss you as well.

I called to inquire about the LPN on Monday 4/17/2023. Let’s just say I had to cut the conversation short. The young lady who answered the phone was VERY rude. I didn’t even finish my conversation. I just had to say “ok thank you” smh.

After wasting time in ITT, I went to Lab Four for a chance to obtain a few IT certifications that were not offered at ITT and was blown away by the help and service provided by the staff. Even after gaining the certifications provided by them, I came back for some of my bachelors degree certifications and the experience was painless. I highly recommend anyone seeking a career in IT to get their entry level training/certifications from Lab Four (it was free for me back then and might be for you too)!

Lab Four Professional Development Center helped prepare me for the Six Sigma Green Belt and ITIL exam, and now I hold both certifications. They are very positive and encouraging, and will get you prepared for success.

Lab4 is a great place to elevate your IT career with one of the best learning and training environments. If you are looking to grow in your IT career path or change into the IT career field, Lab4 goes above and beyond to assist you with this process. I would recommend them to anyone.

The Lab4 staff has been very helpful for getting me certified and getting me a better position with better than average pay. I would recommend anyone trying to obtain a professional technology certification try Lab4.

I trained for Microsoft Certification at LabFour. Joji Helped me any way she could while I trained there. I had a stroke while taking the course and ultimately dropped out because it was too hard to keep up with how my stroke affected my performance. She kept me going and trying to come back to continue the course as long as she could. Joji is a wonderful employee and LabFour should recognize her worth.

Excellent training facility! I enrolled at Lab Four several years ago and it's done wonders for my career in IT. My first instructor is now my mentor. I recommend Lab four to all of my friends, family, or just random people that have questions concerning my certifications and training.

I never knew I could have a career in IT in such a short period of time without prior knowledge. They got me ready technically and professionally to crush any job interview and the offers just kept coming in. 7 years so far so good and I'm talking IT management. Lab Four came through for me.... Classes are also very convenient even if you have a full time job.

Moore Tech has so much to offer. The program I can speak directly of is Machining. The machining program has very dedicated, knowledgeable instructors that assure students get hands on experience in addition to a verbal/written lecture. The school takes pride in students developing into valued members of the Machining community. Instructors are often able to assist students in getting Machining jobs even before graduation.
One important rule they follow is making you accountable for your attendance. The instructors enforce the attendance policy which 1) helps prepare you for the real world and 2) assures that you're not just passing through the classes only learning pieces of parts of the skills.
The classes are small which allows for a more personal learning experience. The instructors are available for mentoring even after graduation.
Many people forget that a technical college experience is an option, which is nice to remember because Universities are not for everyone. There's money to be made & learning a trade is a great way to earn it!
The student mix is diverse, ranging from fresh out of highschool to people that have been in the trade for years and just need more training. The class schedules also allow for those working during the day to come in the evenings.
The graduation is a full blown event with caps, tassel, and a ceremony. The employees at Moore Tech want you to succeed and will become like a family when you're a student.
Many business owners and leaders are on their Board and are proud to support Moore Tech. They know what they're doing. Classes have been in session since 1939!

They don't really do what they say they are going to do. My son was promised to be fully trained and know everything there was to know about Auto Mechanics. Not to mention he would be ASE certified. After working for 3 years now he is still not certified he is only an Oil and lube tech. Do not waste your time or money. My son to get a job somewhere else but has not had any luck since they want a certification.

Can only miss 6 days a trimester or else you fail, even if you have covid, everyday you miss counts against you, equipment is in need of constant repair and teaches unsafe work practices, also if you enjoy 180 question all written answer tests then this is the place for you, I was certified before coming to Moore tech and I have found the experience to be disappointing in every aspect

Personally I am in the welding program. I am quite fortunate to be at Moore Tech because I was unfortunately enrolled at another similar college, which I will not mention, and I'm most certainly felt as though I was missing out on a lot of information. That in conjunction with their overall unprofessionalism forced me to look for similar programs. From the minute I spoke to the operator, throughout my transactions with financial aid, and into the programs professional atmosphere offered by the instructors, I cannot say enough about Moore Tech and how it has changed my life. If you are serious about a life change/career change this is the place for you. You will feel right at home. You Will learn as much as you want to from the instructors who are more than knowledgeable and professional.

Best place to start your IT career in Memphis. Really changed my life.

Great classes! I'm learning a lot!
I'm A+ Certified and currently working towards my Network+

Tech901 is a non-profit school for learning about IT technology and programming for individual career development and for leveling up the tech sector in Memphis. Classes are low cost but with a high standard of instruction. Highly recommended.

Try the cooking class 🤗👍🏽

On January 13,2020 my instructor caught an attitude with me for asking a question..She state’s that she wasn’t going to answer my question and she didn’t have too.. She was doing all this while yelling, screaming and using violent hand movements toward me.. I then ask her to finish the conversation outside the classroom.. And nothing got resolved.. It actually got worst my instructor told me that she will no longer give us information that we need to pass the course.. I was told she would no longer teach lecture, give study guides or give information that we need to pass state exam. I didn’t like her response and voice my concern about her new method of teaching. I was them told to write an report and they would investigate and let me know how they could help me. I explain what happen again and told them to watch the cameras if they needed validation. This is because they are cameras in the classrooms. January 15,2020 I had a meeting with Mrs.Eunice. During the meeting I was told to go back to class and act as if nothing happen and not to ask any questions.. I did that... After lunch, I was told to leave the classroom and to bring my things.. I was then told THEY WERE PUTTING OUT THE PROGRAM.. I then ask why and Mrs.Eunice reply with because of your behavior.. I then ask did they view the cameras before making there decision.. I was told no.. Do not go to this school!! They prey on the young ladies that wants to become a nurse. The total price for the program is 17,987.00. My monthly fee was 1000.00. They promise you loans that you will not be able to receive.. They will also trick the student into signing a computerized loan by clicking a mouse. Please don’t waste your time or money..

Thank you for giving my daughter a great experience she loves her job and is excited about going through the LPN course. Awesome

I attended Moore tech from '17-18 for industrial electricity. That dept. is a mess. Junk everywhere. The instructor would go on rants insulting the students and refusing to teach on most occasions. I reported his behavior and lack of professionalism to the Dean and nothing was accomplished. I complained to the Dean about a lack of equipment and resources to work on. He told me he's "doing his best and that money from a Fedex partnership was coming soon." I visited the school a few months ago to see if the changes took place...NOPE. The dept was still junky and the equipment is outdated by DECADES. When I was still there, I posted a review of the school(pictures included) and the Dean called me to his office to "strongly urge" me to remove my post. I did temporarily because I feared the retaliation of him urging instructors to fail me without justification. This is not a reflection of the other programs though. Machining was awesome and the instructors were extremely helpful and willing to assist you. Eric, Mark, and another gentleman with the big beard in Machining. They're professionals.

Great!!!!

I attended THI in March of 2016. I was apart of the first CNA night class. I am proud to say it was a great experience. I loved the staff and my classmates, it was very helpful and fun. Honestly I am not a school person. But, this was the best experience I have encountered. I am proud to say that I received my CNA license and presently I'm a proud associate of Methodist healthcare. I appreciated the opportunity to better myself in a fast paced program that changed my life. I draw more income than ever and I am at a job that I love, not a job but a career. I recommend THI to anyone who is seeking an upgrade within themselves. This is the place for you!!!!!

Smh going through the advanced course was cool but They are just unorganized when it comes to scheduling for the state board test. This is supposed to be a quicker way to get the information you need to go ahead and get your certification. You have to constantly call them to ask about test dates! They will not call you at all! My class had to "graduate" (not really a graduation) with classes that went through the course before us and even those classes hadn't been scheduled for the board test yet. My last day was May 4 and I have not been scheduled for the board test! Everything I learned has been forgotten Abe the receptionist told me "that's why you should study"..NO! Its going on 2 months! That's why y'all need to do better with getting students a damn test date. First time I tried to get a date the computer "died" and when she logged in the spots were already full. I tried to be understanding because she said it's only 10 spots so I told the receptionist to just schedule me for the next test date which will be June 28th but she told me she got "locked out" and the next test date is August 25th! Now I'm pissed off cause I paid what I had to out my pocket and they just treating this like they give free courses or some! No. You have to pay to apply, pay them to hold your seat, pay them more money before going to clinical. Like, they really should have a state board test date for students on their last day of class ! Because if they keep doing things like they are now people will never get scheduled and they will have more low star reviews!

My teacher Mrs Karen Scott was awesome ‼️ All of the teachers , facility , staff , and principal are wonderful people

I've been in school here for almost 2 years, and the teachers are quite good at teaching and very knowledgeable about the skills in which they are teaching. They can get good students jobs in their field often times before graduation. The building is a bit old, but the equipment is less than 5 years old, and being upgraded every few years.

Lab Four was absolutely amazing. I can be very difficult at time as I am extremely outspoken, but the staff was always attentive to my needs. This is the first certification I have received and Lab Four made this experience even better. Ask for Andrew Mansfield. He is an amazing individual to work with. He has always been there for me every step of the way. I would suggest this place to anyone. It will take about a week to get adjusted to the way things work, but strap in for an amazing ride of learning and networking.

I love southwest center my teacher was nice and sweet very helpful
