It's got nice views of the Cumberland Basin.
Excellent car park straight into Bedminster turn right and parked awesome.
2023: no longer free before 7pm.
But there is a very small free (3hr) parking area directly opposite the entrance to this P (but it's in a rather hidden location).
Good place to park to visit the Create Centre, or for a stroll down the river or around the western docks/marina area. Two pubs nearby.

Great place for walks , kids loved it
They've taken all the signs away and the car park isn't on the OS maps but is actually here and open. No bins or anything but also free. Small car park with bike racks close to nature walks.
Perfect spot to park for river in Bristol and Ashton Gate stadium.
It's an absolutely beautiful part of the city. I highly recommend a visit.

Lovely peaceful place but don't leave valuable items showing in your car as apparently there have been thefts.

Visited on a Sunday and paid to park before realising it was free! 20 minute picturesque walk to the S S Great Britain via Underfall Yard which was worth a look.
Good place to park to walk up into Ashton Court Estate or into Leigh Wood. Or head into town and walk around the water-front.
