Ruby and Rust is a local gem! Full of kind hearted people, incredible finds, and the best plant variety in town! It’s a must see for anyone in the Orlando area!

Picked up this little cutie from Ruby/Rust, unfortunately two of the leaves died right away, I found that these leaves are just single nodes pushed into the soil but these nodes hadn't rooted.
I'm going to try and root them now, but I guess just check your plants before you buy. I love this little place but a heads up would have been appreciated.

Arranged to purchase 50 of our Crepe Myrtles in rush. After having laborers stay to load he no showed with a "flat" saying he would be here this morning. Ghosted all day!! Shady!!

I am a central Floridian born and raised and I have never known a time that Nelson's Roses wasn't a part of the woven fabric of Apopka and the surrounding area's. My mom, who recently passed LOVED roses of every kind and Nelson's was her favorite place to procure the ones for her garden she always said "If you want beautiful hardy roses that will endure through FL weather only buy from Nelson's".

Just recently I had the pleasure of experiencing Nelson's hands on amazing customer service. We were trying to acquire a specific mini rose for my mother's memorial planting and NO ONE had what we needed and if they did they couldn't guarantee delivery dates. So, I called Nelson's (which is only open to the public on Saturdays) and left a desperate message. Not only did Annie Nelson call me back quickly but she went above and beyond to find me the perfect rose. Tracking through their large fields searching for a specific rose in the middle of the night and not only 1 but 3, "Dream Come True" roses which I was amazed they could supply at such short notice. She kept in contact with me and allowed me to retrieve the roses before the normal Saturday business hours. We have never had someone care so much for what we were trying to accomplish and work so hard to help us achieve it.
I would recommend Nelson's Roses to everyone who has a desire for beautiful roses that are grown in FL soil and FL weather. They will surely survive the transplant that normally shocks others from big box stores. In truth no one surpassed Nelson's on any front from product to customer service and beyond.

All I can say is, " Mama was right, as always".

Great shop for plants, pots and all sorts of other stuff! One of the best selections of unique pots and planters that I've seen in a while. I'll definitely be back many times.

If you have a plant need, this shop is it! So many options and containers to choose from, the shop even has tea by the glass in the back! I met the owner Kelly, and she took the time to look up specific information I had about an item. I will be back!

had an amazing experience. i had the mango lemonade with mango boba and wow.. so yummy and refreshing. going to start coming here more often 😍 the owner is the nicest and so was the young girl with wavy hair.

Hours says 4pm. Left work early to be there at 3:45 and they were closed.

Such a cute plant shop, with more than plants to offer. Very sweet and knowledgable staff. Love buying plants from here!

Great selection of roses and Gene is so helpful!

Last Saturday we visited the rose nursery and even though we didn't know that we actually arrived outside of the timeframe allotted for visitors, everyone we came across was extremely pleasant, friendly, and helpful.

I would like to give out a special shout-out to Ramone who took it upon himself to give us a small tour and was extremely knowledgeable and patient with my million questions.

We ended up buying a potted Tiffany rose plant, already can't wait to see it grow! So, so happy to have found this place! We will definitely be purchasing more from here in the future and highly recommend this to anyone else interested!

it was a great rose-field trip. recommended them to so many of my gardening friends already!! Gene was so helpful to find us the colors we were looking for!! very pleased with our trip and purchase. he also got many cut flowers for my girls. the lady at the customer center was very friendly and nice. most of all the plants were looking so healthy

We love Ruby and Rust so much! The plant selection is awesome along with all of the other unique items. You can totally see that the shop was put together with love and we hope they’re here for many years to come!

Such a cute hidden gem! Beautiful plants, crystals and home decor available, plus helpful little items to make your home more eco-friendly. Staff was very friendly and pleasant, I’ll definitely check out this shop every time I’m in the area.

What a fantastic place! If you are looking for roses, this is the place to go. The selection is huge, all different colors, styles, scents.

Folks there are friendly and helpful as well. It was fun zooming around in the golf cart to shop for our roses! We had a guide who was very knowledgeable and helped us pick out some great roses.

Two important points, they are only open to the public on Saturday, and hours are limited so be sure to get there in the AM.

It looks like industry warehouses from the road but just follow the signs, once you turn in the driveway, go straight for a bit and it opens up to a sea of roses.

They do cash or credit, with a discount given for cash so swing by the ATM first.

It's a short drive from the Windermere/Winter garden area and def worth it.

Beautiful trees, shrubs and flowers. Such a joy to just walk the grounds. Very high quality products and friendly, knowledgeable service.

Very nice selection of plants and trees. They literally have EVERYTHING. The prices are also very reasonable compared to a Lowe's or home Depot, so why not support a local business. The staff was very friendly and courteous. My favorite part was a cat that they sort of adopted named Grandma. She's a great employee so say hi if you see her. I'll for sure be back for any of my plant/tree needs.

I'm a professional landscaper but this Nursery caters to both professionals like myself and homeowners. It's one of the nicer Nursery environments I've seen in 20 years of professional landscape design.

I called to check to see if certain trees were in stock. A guy by the name of Jake would not look in their inventory on his computer to see what was in stock. He told me if I wanted to see what they had I had to come in personally to see. He was a prick on the phone. Not doing business with this nursery. Customer service is a F.

Good deal, plants are good quality, side by side next to lowes plants you can tell the difference for half the price! Nice people I will be returning!

Edit: 2019 I stopped by again today and they no longer cater to customers. It’s wholesale only. Shame
