The playground only for little ones the skateboard park side is often surrounded with drug users broken bottles, messy kids. Don't let younger kids go there alone absolutely not safe.
The ramps are all right but there are too many careless parents around to be able to ride. Could not believe there was a family with a stroller on the top of the ramp. Absolutely mind bending bad parenting.
It's cool; amazing the best does the massive drop ramp
Kids, they run around and get injured by people skating ect, the ramps aren't for parlour and your children to play at there's a park 30 seconds away for that and loads of grass and even a court for sports! My poor timmy git hurt because he was running around abd a skateboarder knocked him over making him loose his too front teeth!!! Brilliant for bikes and boards but kids is a BIG no no!!!!

Better than I thought actually... wouldn't let my kids go there on there own though.. couple of kids making funny noises and lingering weed smell but other than that pretty cool
my kids love coming here to play and run around the playground
Good to have a skate centric spot like this in brum
I don't think this is an ideal skate park for beginners or novice skaters. For skateboarding, I would suspect that you'd have to be comfortable with being able to ollie on and off a curb to/from a footpath first. It is all concrete, which whilst is very smooth and provides little resistance, a beginner or novice might not be used to the speeds that you will get especially if you're used to skating on a typical British footpath (even smooth tarmac paths are slower than the clean/smooth concrete at this skatepark).

I 100% recommend helmets for the quarter pipes and ramps; around 1999, I knocked myself clean out on a wooden 6ft half pipe by hitting my head on the coping. I would have been okay had I hit the wood on the ramp. All of the ramps and quarter pipes here are concrete.

A note to parents, you are not helping your child by calling him or her a wimp for not dropping in when he or she is standing atop of a 7 or 8ft concrete quarter pipe - especially if he or she isn't wearing a helmets or knee/elbow pads. Dropping in is scary and you have to commit to it. Any doubt can lead to an injury. If you are not willing to do it yourself, don't expect your child to do it. I have seen a drop in go very bad first hand.

Nice and cool plus people are very welcoming to new comers
Great for learners as there is ample space for children to roam around and start learning tricks at their own pace. I like the atmosphere as grown up skaters usually behave, too. Makes it the best skatepark in Birmingham (that I know of ^^)!

Nice skatepark, but is not clean.
Fantastic little place just off the high street. The flow of the park is great and it has a little area to sit near the community garden. I take my young boy there to learn how to skate, people have always been very welcoming, although, I’d say it is a skate park that I would expect regular skaters to go to, rather than some places that are full of weekend scooter children.
I love taking my children to this park as there’s so much to do and a huge field and adjacent forest to walk in. The skate park is excellent: a smooth concrete park with sections for different abilities. It gets really busy with everyone from tiny children on scooters to adults on skateboards and bmx’s. My son went to some of the Council run beginners skateboard events and won a board! He was encouraged by one of the skateboarding teens to attempt the ramps and has loved his hobby ever since. Shame the house isn’t open for a coffee anymore but there’s always an ice cream van or Bearwood high street nearby.

We attended a home ed meet here once a week, it's Looking a little tired and can often become a bit of a dumping ground for passers by but the kids still love to play!
Great place for kids to play, folks to walk and dogs to enjoy. Close to many bus links and Bearwood high street too. Just needs a cheap and cheerful cafe and it would be perfect! A family fave :)

A valuable community space. Built by the skateboarding community through covid. ROSPA approved and certified. There is a negative comment about a sign. I invite anyone to come and read the sign. There is really no issue.

This diy is of a really good quality with a good finish Friendly group of people and free lessons for kids and adults during the summer. Really recomend
Do skateparks get much better? A park built by skaters for skaters.
Its a shame money comes over peoples happiness, the council should be ashamed of themselves.

Quite lovely. Travel 1h+ fairly regularly to rollerskate here. Variety of ramps to use, good ½ bowl, surrounded by huge field and opposite a park. Right beside a corner shop, so that's useful. Seating is quite limited, but I don't go there to sit. Bit of trash, but it's mostly all pushed to one side and very easy to avoid. Not crowdy, haven't been bothered by anyone, park users are nice and friendly, always had a good experience here, though I always come during the day. Fair amount of open space if ramps aren't for you.
Small and oddly laid out but actually not too bad. Nice smooth cement and 2 mins off the A road
Great little space to roll around on a board, or bike or scooter, on. Lampposts for sessioning into the late hours. Parking just in front on the grass verge too
Had a free skateboarding lesson today, awesome team there. Everyone was really friendly and encouraging.

What a great space for the local community! Thank you for having me, I'll be back soon 😄

Good local skate spot. Concrete in the bowl has a couple of rough spots, but not too bad. Mini drop-in off the steps is useful for beginners. The park itself has a decent tarmac path all round with a gentle slope, good for warm-up laps or distance skating practice.
Changes to the park, new bin has been added (after speaking to the council workers and getting a survey done).
Some of us older boys/girls have kept the park clean by sweeping up glass/rubbish and placing in bins.

Acocks Green lions have helped us every week in volunteering to clean up the park and surrounding.

We try to get family’s and children to feel welcomed at the park. Even help out with teaching them how to skateboard or inline skate.

Since the lockdown 2020 to the present date, the park and the atmosphere has changed for the better

Nice little bowl. The angles aren’t the best and it could be bigger, but a nice little practice area to have some fun in. As I said in my park review, problem here can be small children thinking this is a play area and getting into the bowl. Nice place to hang out on a nice day.

Some of the ramps are a big steep that's my only criticism other than that Its a sick little park great flow not to busy either
Always busy but friendly kids and teenagers who watch out for eachother. Great to have the basketball/ football court near for children to run between. Shame the football pitches are so muddy and such old posts but you have teams and kids training throughout the week. Little wooden area for kids to run too.
Not a particularly big bowl, so not the best for skating, however it isnt very popular, so there arent any skating teenagers and scary stuff like that around it in the day time. Would be a good place to learn to skate
Its got lights and they are on at night. Back quarter is a little steep, overall layout is pretty whack but smooth ground and it has lights that work. Wish it was my local.
Love skating here good for beginners and conditioning tricks not a big park but still great for a lil skate
Its good not alot of street but a few flat bars and quite small but its good nun the less

This has to be one of my favourite parks ever. It is definitely one of the more suitable skatepark in the surrounding area. Yes the kids there can be difficult but as long as you are nice to them they are nice back : I know this because over the past two years I have been riding here frequently and have helped the kids learn new things and in return they have been very kind and grateful to us older riders. Despite only being fifteen I have been treated like an equal by some of my now closest friends. Anyone to come here is welcome and any kids that want to learn just need to ask kindly and will be happily guided to improve their skills. Yes there are older people who smoke and drink occasionally however this is all done responsibly, legally and kept away from any underage people using the facility. Some reviews that I have seen here are unfair and unjust in their judgement. If you are thinking of coming here yourself or with kids I highly recommend it as the actual park is of a high quality and any problems just talk to someone, I am confident that they will be happy to help. Us riders have created a brilliant community there and we do no want it tarnished by incorrect views from a few wrongfully entitled people. Over all a great place to come hang out socialise and home your skills, it is a brilliant place to be.
Lovely place, frequent user of the park here and I'm humoured by these slanderous reviews. 1) The "judgement" will only come from the local kids, no surprise and if you can't handle that you're a little pathetic. 2) Litter. We frequently make efforts to clean our park and keep it in tip top shape. 3) Any questions, help or advice can be gained from the variety of skaters, scooters and BMXers that use the park. Before writing a review please take time to actually learn about our park.
Great skatepark, with a great bunch of people!! From beginners to experts...we are always here to help anyone who wants to begin a new hobby!! 🛹✨ these guys helped me loads!!

Great collection of different ramps of all difficulty to suit all bikes, boards and scooters.
Carpark across the road and shops next door.
Just be warned, its a absolutely littered with rubbish from the kids eating and drinking and throwing it to the side.
Nice skatepark
Had a good morning/afternoon there & no hassle from anyone.
Would recommend.
It's a great place for kids of all ages to chill and okay together. There's not much for the youth to do so this is a great start but come on Solihull council how about some more things to give the youth of today a reason to stay away from this crazy gang and knife crime epidemic that's taking to many of our babies because that's all they are!
It would be nice to see some support from someone in power on this but I won't hold my breath.

Can't believe such a fantastic bowl has been vandalized by the council by cutting steps into it rather than fixing the drainage . Hope they rectify this error and add to the facility to make it better . This bowl is being left to rot it's a shame when it was new it was ace .
