Top Haunted houses in Orlando, United States

I visited this event in 2023 and calling it a halloween experience is an understatement. The event has a very sexual undertone, with the workers flicking tongues at guest and speaking indirect profanity to its guests. I witness a clown asking a guest if she enjoyed “hot dogs “ and grinding on her after asking. How anyone calls this a family event is beyond me. The actors, in some houses get so close to you - you can legit feel their breath. I would not recommend this event to families with children - if you want a halloween event visit universal, it’s expensive but at least you don’t have to experience the crude behavior of some of these actors in this park.

It was our very first time at a haunted house and we loved the experience. We went on October 28th and did the 2 houses. The scare experience was actually really good. My husband and I were grateful we didn't get the high intensity package because we couldn't manage the actors touching us. The costumes were excellent and the actors were really good at staying in character. The houses were set up well too. Great experience!

We made it a point to head to Orlando tonight to check out the Tales of Terror haunted attraction Total Blackout!!

Their last haunt, Leprechauns Revenge was great, this was even better!

We went with the new High intensity option and I would highly recommend it, definitely brings the scare factor up a few notches! You are given glow sticks and told to hang on to them because the ghouls in the houses will try to snatch it from you. They will also steer you away from your group to disorient you, try to feed you random things (bugs?) and tell you to like it!

My husband was completely creamed and I couldn't stop laughing..... Everyone did such an amazing job!! We can't wait make another trip out to see the lighted version!

The park was clean and lines were short.

Now for the main reason for my negative review!
The worst part about our trip was an employee in the clown zone. Her name is Felicia Yvonne she was incredibly rude and harassing. We booked this trip for my mother in hopes she would have an amazing time and she absolutely ruined her night. She followed my mom to the end of the scare zone threatening to get us kicked out the park because my mom screamed to loud for her after getting scared and In her words “she hurt her ears”. She embarassed my mother in front of other guest demanding an apology or my mother would get kicked out of the park. Her actions were tacky , unprofessional and degrading. She yelled and demanded for apologies even other guest were confused as to what was going on. We are pass holders and have never encountered such a horrible experience. I frequently attend Halloween horror nights and never had a scare actor get upset because a guest screamed to loud….. if we are being honest isn’t that the point of the event to scare people? I thought I would try a different Halloween event but after this experience with her We will not be returning to this event unfortunately and will stick to Halloween horror nights. The other employees at the park were amazing and apologetic for her actions.

Atttended on October 21st. Tales of Terror is fairly new to the haunt world.. so had to give at least 3 stars. 1 truck to buy food... and if u a vegetarian u will be eating elsewhere (hotdogs, hamburgers, chips, and soda). There were other things set-up.. tarot reading tent, some kind of tattoo tent, and 1 or 2 other tents. I believe there were 2 games. As for the 2 haunts.. NoT very many actors to keep the scares consistent or coming. We paid for the VIP to get into each twice and have an amped up experience (which was pretty much the same as every1's experience). Lines to each haunt are long, BuT move pretty steadily (and a screen playing clips, between both haunts to pass the time). At 1 point I wasn't feeling that well and took a breather past the games and there was a male actor with feathers or spikes on his shoulders who took time out to make sure I was OK. That's customer dedication.. 👍🏼

Wait for coasters was pretty good. Alot darker than I expected it to be. Definitely creepy lol. Haunted houses were good. And the characters Definitely stayed in character all night. Drinks were good we had the drink package only downfall beer isn't included.

This cup was $22. A refill was $18. If you want a full cup, you're asked to pay $3 more for them to add alcohol, after they've already started to fill it.

A complete scam. If you go, avoid the glacier bar at all costs

overall was very impressed with the show. I know it’s pretty new still and it is not as exciting looking on the exterior of the trails as some of the other local haunts but there are scare actors to entertain while waiting in line and singing on a stage going on.
The best part was the GenCorp warehouse 13 trail the one where they touch you if you have a glow stick it was insanely good! Lots of great actors you definitely become part of the show. part of the group got separated and disappeared for a bit and at one point a creepy doctor tossed me up on a bloody operating table there was lots of other interaction the other trail was OK more of the typical haunt stuff definitely not as intense. Was worth the money I’d go back next year

This was the best comedy show I've been to in years! Definitely not worth the money! There were 15 actors total between 2 houses, there were scare zones that weren't even used due to lack of actors, there is really no actors roaming outside the houses just 1 we saw! There is alot of room for improvement including better sets and not being so generic. Amp up the scares and hire more actors so there are more distractions and scares! I will leave with this, you need to let people know where they are going as it is very confusing going through, my wife and I left the houses numerous times because we weren't directed which way to go! If this is Florida's best then you've got a long way to go! Good luck!

Honestly, the reviews from last year made me very excited but I was extremely disappointed opening night.

The fair ground itself was very large with about 3 “scare actors” walking around , 2 of which were just funny acting girls.

We got the VIP ( 2 times in both houses ) + high intensity glow stick ( they can touch ). Both houses were extremely mild & short. Very little story , abrupt end. Nobody even chases you out at the end. The second time we went through we caught up the the group in front of us so the scare actors weren’t even in their right spots so they didn’t even get to scare us.

Compared to Screamagedon, I was extremely let down. It wasn’t horrible , but seeing the videos on instagram of the previous year I had extremely high hopes. Maybe it was just the opening day & there will be more scare actors but for the expectations I had it was a let down. The fair part & vendors were cool.

I’d say go to Screamagedon or Petrified Forrest. Lots of potential but execution was off.

Absolutely horrible. It’s like a freaking strip club gone wrong. I expected this to be one of the most amazing adventures while visiting and it was one of the worst. Not scary at all, very sexual and just a horrible show considering how it could be. The owners simply don’t care about this place. Someone needs to buy this place and bring it back to life.

This was my first time going and I will definitely be back! The haunted houses were longer with more jump scares than Halloween Horror nights. The staff in the scare zones were freaky and fun! I can’t believe I waited so long to go and spent so much on Halloween Horror nights all these years!

I took my whole family and it was a blast. If you want to take a smaller child I would differently recommend here. I had my 6 year and he had on the the light up necklace where the actors don't scare him. The actors was so amazing with him. They still got next to him and made sure that he seen them before doing any thing little scary or creepy. It was amazing cause the actors made it where my son could enjoy the event just as much as my othet kids. The pirates was by far the best with him. We didn't get to do the haunted house's cause he was to scared but the scare zones was just enough for him to enjoy the whole night.

This was my first year going and we had a good time. We were able to see all 5 houses which each had a unique themed storyline, but seemed to lack performers. There were a lot of rooms we walked through and didn't see one actor. Each scare zone was fun with our favorite being CarnEvil Pier as the actors were giving it their all. We really impressed with Sirens Songs and Monsters Stomps shows.
The drinks and food were okay. We were taken back by the additional 5% surcharge to every order as we didn't know what that was for.

It’s a not to miss haunted trail and is unique because it offers two versions-standard or higher intensity. Both are so exciting and immersive. There’s scareactors also lurking around the queue and merchant area that are super entertaining! They put their all into this event and really looking forward to next year’s!!

My husband and I took my son and daughter and we ALL had an absolute blast. Hands down the best haunted attraction in the area. We got the most expensive package and it was totally worth it. We did the zombie paintball and the haunted trail. The ending blew our minds but I don’t want to say what it was cause I don’t want to ruin it for other people. We will be back for sure next year. Thank you so much for such a fantastic experience!
